    Kerry Nissan - Florence
purchased a 2009 VW Jetta at a tent sale for Kerry of Florence on 5-26-2012. I paid $16,000 for the car and put an $8,000 down payment on it. It was financed at 2.45% through GE. I found that insurance and repairs on the VW were expensive and that it did not get very good gas mileage. I went back to Kerry on 9-16-20912 to see what I could get for the car. They gave me $10,400, which was the payoff price. I had had the car for approximately 3 months and put 2,100 mile on it, for a total of 47,000 miles. It was in pristine condition when it was returned. The salesman showed me a 2008 Honda with 91,000 miles on it and told me that it would give me better gas mileage and lower-cost repairs. The purchase price for this car was $15,000. (It ended up being financed at 5.1% interest through GE, at a total cost of $19,000). They also said that they needed $1,400 for sales tax (I couldn't figure why they needed sales tax. Turns out, this was for a down payment on the Honda). I had major doubts and, at one point, started to walk out. I sincerely wish I had. I signed the contract and took the car home. THe car was dirty inside and had some pins missing from the front end, which they promised to fix. They subsequently replaced the pins but the fender still does not align well.
After going home and examining the contract and looking up the value of the VW and the Honda, I realized that I had been given a very bad deal and that the Honda was only worth about $10,000, I went back to the dealership the following morning to tell them I had changed my mind. Their words to me were that the sale of the VW and the purchase of the Honda had already gone through the bank (mind you, the sale as made on Sunday evening and I returned on Monday morning), and that since I had signed the papers, I was responsible. It turns out there is NO GRACE PERIOD IN KENTUCKY DURING WHICH YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR MIND.
If you read these details and think that the deal was fair, then by all means, patronize Kerry of Florence. If you do not, then do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership. I have learned a few things from this experience that I would like to pass on:
    1. Always, always take someone with you when you purchase a car. A lot of information is thrown at you at once and the car salesman can be very aggressive.
    2. Before you agree to anything, Kelley Blue Book the cars you are dealing with to obtain their value.
    3. No matter how much you are pressured, DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING unless you have all of the details in front of you and are sure that it is a good deal for you.
    4. If you are making any auto deal in Kentucky, remember, you have absolutely no protection once you sign that contract. There is absolutely no grace period in which you can change your mind.
Finally, to "C" at the dealership who said I was having buyer's remorse, I would like to say that I really am. I am extremely remorseful that I ever dealt with Kerry of Florence in the first place and that I was stupid enough to think that I would be given a fair deal.gton

    JOSEPH CADILLAC
We bought the car at this dealership. I have been with them for a long time and I am very pleased with them. I have a 2000 Cadillac and they have kept it in excellent condition all these years. It cost a little more because dealerships are more expensive than other repair places but they are more reliable.

Bob Sumerel Tire & Service - Alexandria
I would use them again. They have snacks and things to keep busy while I wait. It doesn't take very long when I leave my car.

They didn't do something on the oil change but they got me back in pretty quickly to fix it. The car purchase went really well.
