    My Primary care is Willaim E. Childers and he works with Central Kentucky Medical Group. He is semi retired now. I visited him, Friday,  last week and I had bowel issues at the time. He is very attentive and responsive. Even though they are open only Monday's to Friday's, their waiting room is never full. They maintain their appointments so their waiting room is never full.

    The treatment was for my daughter and I accompanied her. For the first treatment I was quoted $200 as I was self pay. The appointment was for 2pm. We were shown to a room at the appointment time and then left waiting for 45 minutes before the doctor came in. He looked at the toes and started treatment immediately. Without warning he inserted a hypodermic needle into my daughter's toes which caused extreme pain.
    When he finished the treatment he said we would have to come back in 3 weeks to do the second part of the treatment. I asked him how much this would cost and he said $75.
    We booked the second appointment and left. 2 weeks later I got a bill for about $350 for the first treatment. A lot more than the $200 I had been quoted. I paid this at the second visit together with the $75 charge for the second visit. They wanted payment before we saw the doctor for the second treatment.
    The second treatment went well and on time.
    When I went to the front desk to get an excuse letter for my daughter for school the girl at the desk asked me for $350. I told her that I had already paid and she said this was for the second treatment. I could see that this was not the case and I said everything was paid. She said she would have to check with the bookkeeper and I waited about 10 minutes but then I had to leave to collect my other daughter and told them to mail it to me and I would call them.
    Two weeks later I get a bill for $150, less the $75 I had paid on the day, leaving a balance of $75. I called the office and spoke to the accounts person who tried and said everything she could think of to justify the charge. I accepted the overcharge on the first visit on the basis that I was quoted before the doctor saw my daughter (albeit an ingrowing toe nail must be a fairly common treatment), but the doctor quoted me the cost of the second treatment with my daughter in front of him.
    In summary, the treatment was successful, the office staff are a mixture of tolerable to infuriating. There is a general air of unease around payment. I have little doubt that I am not the first or last person to be unhappy with their billing. For customer service they get 0 out of 10. I would not recommend them to anyone.

    It went really well! I've been going there for 30 years. They have a variety of doctors and specialist, and I can go to one place and get everything done. They do lab work, x-rays and whatever. I don't have to go to different locations. It's very convenient.

    I've had nothing but excellent visits with both Dr. Turcea and Dr. Frazier. They were both kind, sensitive, and listened very well. I've also seen Dr. Stivers once and was not overly impressed with her bedside manner - very terse and was in the room for less than 5 minutes, but took some of that time to check her text messages on her cell phone.
    Since I'm pregnant, we've had about 6 appointments so far and more are in our future. Very happy and comfortable to be having this practice deliver our first child!

    A year ago, I would've given this office an A+. However, level and quality of service that they provide has significantly dropped, and as much as I love my normal doctor, I don't think I will ever go back. I would strongly recommend exploring other options before going to this practice.

    Very well. The office staff was very kind and friendly. The Dr. was very good for my first visit tio a KY doctor. I'm new to the area and Angie's list lead me to this facility. I was very happy with the Dr. and his ability. I'll be back for a physical once I stop traveling to Canada.

    His office is in the hospital, in the office of my previous physician, and my daughter sees him.  I've gone to that office for years.  I give him high ratings and will continue to go there in the future.

    The office is on the 2nd floor of a community hospital. In the waiting room, there was very little light and everything seemed old and dingy. But once I saw the nurse and then the PA-C, all of my concerns/worries disappeared. The PA-C was very knowledgable and thourough. I was treated quickly and with respect and kindness. I will certainly return when I have the need here in KY.

    As mentioned above, our daughter was diagnosed with "colic" by 4 other pediatricians before finding Dr. Brian Smith. Her 5+ months of crying 18 hours a day was finally diagnosed as a suspected milk protein allergy and severe acid reflux. We first approached Dr. Smith as sleep deprived fustrated parents with a list of concerns. Dr. Smith took the time to LISTEN to every condition and SUGGEST tests and/or treatments. (We got a more individualized response in 10 minutes than any other "glorified nurse" uh...pediatrician we had seen prior). Not only did he suggest a course of treatment (plan a) but had a 'plan b' and a follow up schedule. We've since moved onto plan c, (by the way of a phone consultation) which has given our daughter much relief and saved our sanity. Thank you.
