We hired Groundhaven for a patio expansion that included a pergola and a seat wall. The seat wall was not part of the original project but it was Dave's suggestion and we are so glad we added it. It's a great feeling to make an investment in your home and be able to say I couldnt be happier but Dave and his crew exceeded my expectations with our patio upgrade. Dave listened to my ideas, paid attention to what I liked and didnt like, added input and suggestions without being salesy and the end result was something much nicer than I envisioned without going over budget. It took quite a bit longer than we anticipated but part of that was Dave and his crew making sure the job was done right. His bid was the lowest by a lot but they are pros and did a beautiful job! Dave was always available by text or phone and I really enjoyed working with him. Dave has a friendly and informal demeanor and I had to get used to his laid back style. But the overall experience was very positive and the end result speaks for itself. We are enjoying our new patio immensely and it feels like we have added an extra room to our house. We highly recommend Big Dave and Ground Haven Landscapes.

Anthony came out promptly and did a professional repair. Excellent job at reasonable rates. Talk about responsive, the second time I needed him I called about 11:30 a.m. and explained my mower died. He said 'let me get a bite to eat and I'll be right out.' He was at my house before 1.

Mike was wonderful! He is very knowledgeable about different types of trees and what needs to be done to keep your landscape healthy.. Mike was on time, very courteous and professional. I will use Whitehouse Landscapes again. My yard and trees look fantastic. I also want to add The price was very reasonable! Thanks Mike

Dianne's crew cleaned up the old work, regraded the area with new topsoil, and installed a straw mat to stop rutting. The slope has held up through some pretty significant rains and the new grass is slowly blending in with the rest of the yard.

This is our first season with Dogwood Landscape and after this summers experience we plan on extending their service through next year. After trying many other companies Dogwood has proven to exceed in communication and service. We were pleased to see their services expanding and will use them for future projects without hesitation.

At first, it seemed okay. We had agreed and he had contracted to cut down 5 or 6 trees and cut them into 30" pieces, leaving them on the ground. I was to take care of the brush. He asked for money before the contracted part of the job was finished, though, and we agreed to pay as work was completed. The job got big: about 25 ash trees were ultimately cut. We did not put a deadline on the work. Problems began to appear after the first 8 or 10 trees were cut. He would promise to appear, but fail to show up. Repeatedly. Very unprofessional. He would also fail to return phone calls. It was clear that he was doing work for others instead of work for us. I discovered one day after he left that a limb from a tree they had cut had damaged my septic tank. It was clear how it happened, but the damage was not reported. Repair costs were just shy of $500. He acknowledged responsibility and agreed to cut three more trees, two of which were to be cut in payment for the damage done and which I had paid to have repaired. He then failed to appear when he promised (again) and when he did come, he told me the trees selected were "too big" and should cost a lot more. He had seen all three trees previously and agreed to cut them at the original price (~$275 each). I agreed to increase the price as long as the cost of the damage caused by his crew was counted as part of the payment. He agreed. He and his helper cut the trees and told my wife they had finished. She paid them. They had not cut the trees into pieces as agreed. I contacted Jeremiah and he told me he hadn't had a saw big enough to cut the trees into smaller pieces, but he'd be out to finish the job. When he didn't show, he promised several more times to come finish the job. Then Jeremiah stopped answering my phone calls. I had to cut the one on my neighbor's side of the fence and haul the brush to my property. I called Jeremiah's insurance company, but they told me he had a $1000 deductible and I would have to get the money from him. I cut up the trees with my 18" chainsaw. I have hired people to work for me whose workmanship was not as good as Jeremiah's. I have NOT had anybody work for me who was less trustworthy than Jeremiah and whose promises were so frequently broken. If you hire Grassroots for any work, I strongly recommend that you pay them nothing until the job is complete and you have inspected and confirmed that (1) everything they agreed to do was completed per the contract and (2) they did not damage your property in the process.

Very good. They seemed very professional as far as the equipment they were using, and they apparently knew what they were doing. They seemed to be operating safely and they did a good job cleaning up. I really don't have any frame of reference, it seemed reasonable. They did it very quickly.

Craig, the owner was professional and answered all of our questions thoroughly prior to signing a contract - and the company had excellent references within the area. There were several packages to choose from to meet our specific needs. The system is easy to use and Craig is very responsive if we have any questions. His team was on time and took very care of our lawn. The only downside was that you may have to book 3-6 weeks out in the summer as they are very busy (because they are so good).

He came on time, he listened to what I have to say. The price was very good and fair. He is very professional, the crew cleaned up pretty good and very happy. I told them that I will see them again next year. I have so many friends who have used them too

In one word, "outstanding." Promises by contractors are often not fully met, but Whitehouse Landscaping is the best I have hired, despite the 15 degree weather, Mike showed up on time and met his timing goals. Mother Nature would be proud. Give him a call and ask him for a quote for any type of yard work, planting, removing, trimming, etc. You won't be disappointed.
