Mason did a great job! He showed up on time, was friendly, and answered several questions that I had about my septic tank. He's honest and his price was fair. I will definitely hire him again in the future.

Stealth Foundation,LLC's website says they have served as a trusted adviser to Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky homeowners for over thirty years; however, BBB Ohio indicates that the business was incorporated March 1, 2010 - 6 years ago. In the end, we did not have any work performed by Stealth Foundations, but the following should be a cautionary tale for anyone looking at this company to do foundation repair. We found reputable contractors for nearly half the money and whose work creates less disruption to the surrounding area. In October, we contacted Stealth regarding a garage corner that appeared to my husband and I to be settling - cracking in the brick veneer. The owner, Mr. Steve Cohen, promptly visited our home. He did not think we had a foundation issue, but rather a problem with the lintel above the garage doors. Subsequently we had a masonry contractor offer his assessment. He too thought it was a foundation problem and so we contacted a structural engineer. Mr. Cohen was present when the engineer advised that it was a settling issue and recommended the installation of 2 steel piers. There is a gate, fence, hedge and sidewalk in the same area. We had an extensive discussion with Mr. Cohen regarding access requirements to get the job done. He informed us that the fence post located directly beside the garage corner would have to be removed. I was concerned about the shrubbery nearest the garage, but Mr. Cohen deemed that the removal of the fence and relocation of 2 shrubs further down would provide the necessary space (six feet) required for his equipment. On November 2, 2016 Mr. Cohen submitted his proposal to "install 2 heavy helical piers, with the owner being responsible for obstructions to include shrubbery, fencing and concrete" at a cost of $3880.00 (included a discount of $800 for being a Angie's List member). My husband clarified, via email, what we were expected to do and accepted the proposal. It was determined that the earliest date the work could be done would be November 29 (Mr. Cohen and ourselves had prior obligations). Following this, Mr. Cohen delayed the job a number of times. On more than one occasion my husband reached out to Mr. Cohen to try and firm up a date. In the meantime, my husband had removed fencing and posts to provide the required access. On Sunday, December 11 at 8:30 pm Mr. Cohen texted my husband to inform us that work would commence the next morning at 8am. The next morning Mr. Cohen called to say that there was an issue with a piece of equipment and they would be late. Approximately at 9:45 Mr. Cohen's son and another worker arrived with a backhoe. His son informed us that the access provided was not acceptable because he needed 6 feet directly beside the garage in order to dig. We would have to remove the gate, another post, fence rails and shrubbery. We tried to reach Mr. Cohen, but his son said that he was in a meeting. His son said that they could break up and remove the small sidewalk, but could not do the other work to get the site ready. His son then offered to come back the next day and we told him that we would contact his father to confirm. We then proceeded to remove the remaining fence, posts, gate and shrubbery. Around 12:30 pm my husband sent a text to Mr. Cohen to confirm plans for the next day. His response was, "I am in a meeting right now but wanted you to know we won't be back. I will go into further details later". That is the last we heard from Mr. Steve Cohen.

A man named James C. came out  instead of Danny Manley, to give me an estimate on a project in my back and side yards. He kept interrrupting me when I was trying to explain to him about the previous work I had done. I had to repeat myself 3 times and he still kept cutting me off condescending to me as a woman.  He would not adequately answer my questions but instead blew them off talking over me.  He asked me over and over the same question I had already answered several times and he did not instill any confidence in me that he even listened or cared about what I was trying to convey in vain.
He was very rude and told me he wasn't going to bother to write up an estimate or a work proposal and walked off without a care in the world. He told me he wasn't going to waste his time giving me a written proposal.  He was very unprofessional and he didn't do what the company said he would do which is to give me the estimate I asked for. He did not represent this company well AT ALL.   I wouldn't ever use these people...if this is their best foot forward, what is it gonna be down the road into the project. As someone with a degree in a field relating to Customer Service. I have no choice but to give this particular representative an F.

Jeff came and gave us all the details of what they would do and also gave us some recommendations for other ways to help with a small leak. He and his guys arrived on time and ready to work and finished really fast....including filling a few surface cracks for appearance. They were very careful to protect the stuff in our basement from dust and cleaned up when they were finished.

During repair they said they would lift house and get crack to get as closed as they could.  When lifting they tried for a long time. Pictures came off walls cracks happened in ceiling and fireplace pulled away from wall and a new crack developed in front of baement.  I went  out and told them the house is falling apart chimeny coming off and the front wall now had crack. The guy said I cannot get crack to close at all or the house to lift.   He filled in the crack with some foam as it has not closed at all.  He said the the problem was my screened in porch it was actually attached ot the foundation of the house and was pulling the house and making it tilt.  He said I need to lift the screened in porch.  I said how much more is that becaue you didnt even do whatg you said.  He said dont worry we will be back out with manager as he was just the lifting guy.  No one came out I called for months finaly got ahold of them in November and they said cant do anything now ground is freezing we will be out in Ap;ril that would be April 2010.  No one came finally I got someone out toward October.  They said that the guy that lifted house was wrong and their stuff worked.  I swaid why is crack so big still and why is house still cracking everyhwere I patched it.  He said I worried to much it was normal.  No
I have three new huge cracks the fireplace is now abut 2 iinches from wall and orgianl crack is even bigger.  If I need to lift the screened in porch I will but I paid you 3000 for nothing.  But more ctacks and repairs.  My front door wont even lock anymore.  Nothing lines up.
Please do not use them unless you have a second opinion.  I have had three friends have same problems told them do not go to these people.  They went somewhere else and their stuff is fine.  I am disabled and on social security that was two months of income for me.  I was trying to save my house it is all I have.

I called several places that are listed here to finish my basement. Several did not return my calls/emails, or I was not able to contact them. Charles Martini of ProBasements called me back right away, even though he was away for Thanksgiving. He showed up prepared, we spoke about what I was looking for, and then he spent some time measuring and drawing up plans. He went over what he envisioned, and I made some suggestions. He gave me a quote and timeline right then. After he left, I showed my husband the drawings and the quote, and we agreed that it was fair and what we wanted. Charles was courteous and professional, so even though we wanted several quotes, we were on a bit of a time crunch and felt confident in ProBasements. Once we agreed to use them, we paid the down payment and they began work the next day, a Saturday, just to be sure they would finish in time. Each day they came and made significant progress, and we were amazed at night when we would go down to see what was done. They respected our privacy by using a basement door to go in and out and were very polite when I did have to bother them or when they had to check on something with me. Charles was here most of the time, but even when he was not, he usually checked the work at some point. They finished several days earlier than expected, giving us much needed time to move furniture in before the Christmas holiday when the relatives arrived. We could not be more pleased with how it went and the quality of work. Just to be sure, when our realtor came by as a friend, we had her take a look and she was amazed. She said the quality of the work was incredible and she would expect that we had paid significantly more than we did. We LOVE our new finished basement!
We are new to the area and relied on Angie's List for recommendations, and we are so pleased with ProBasements and think all the good reviews are absolutely true.

Rodney finished our basement with a bedroom, bathroom and family room. This included two custom-built shelves in the family room and a very nice tile bathroom.   We were very pleased with the quality of Rodney's work.  He pays attention to details and worked to please us.

He responded to my call the day I called and was able to stop by on his way home the same day to take a quick look. He was able to rearrange some ongoing work (with the permission of the other party, their work was not leak-oriented so they could be flexible) and he got started the following day. His original estimate was $450, however there ended up being several foundation cracks that needed to be repaired resulting in additional cost, which he explained and I thought was very fair. He was very up front through the entire process, showed me what he was doing at every step, and worked very quickly and unobtrusively. He also identified an issue with our gutter that was likely contributing to the problem and fixed that as well. He was punctual and reliable. I would definitely use him again.
