We are very happy having hired WR Painting! We have an old brick home with lots of detail work and it now looks fabulous. Greg gave us a competitive price and he, Candito, and their crew handled our rather complicated color scheme expertly. Everyone on crew was respectful and took great care to protect our brickwork, patio, driveway, etc. from any paint drops. They cleaned up after working every day, and finished the job in only 3 days (we thought it would take a week!). At the final walk through, there was not one place that needed to be touched up. That was pretty amazing! We would highly recommend WR Painting!

Complete Hydro-Cleaning pressure cleaned off old driveway sealer and applied new higher quality sealer. CHC promised to return and apply a second coat at no additional cost and fulfilled all promises in a timely manner. Their crew arrived when promised and cleaned up very well. Owner and team were great to work with. We highly recommend to anyone needing pressure cleaning and sealing work.

I called on a Tuesday and left a message to call me back about some concrete repair services. It is now a week later and I have not received a call back. I have gone with another company who called back the next day.

Carl and I jointly selected the paint color. I didn't write it down, and apparently he didn't either because he had to return to our home to do the color match again. I was not given the opportunity to approve his selection. The paint work was completed at a time when we were not at home. When we saw the completed project, it was immediately obvious the wrong color was applied. He offered to repaint the project for an additional $300. This was unacceptable since we did not approve the color he selected. We did nothing wrong but were being asked to pay him to correct his mistake. He sent me a link to Sherman Williams that identified the color he used. While I don't remember the specific color name we agreed on, I do know his color and quot;Mega Greigeand quot; was no where close to our color name.
Terms in his contract state that and quot;repainting a project at no cost will not be done, no matter what the reasonand quot;. He followed this part of his contract to the letter. However, he did not follow the wording of his contract regarding selection and approval of paint color. Apparently his and quot;no matter what the reasonand quot; language takes priority over everything else.
He has his contract to comfort him. He will not have future work from us, nor anyone we know that could use services his company provides.

Bruce Ryan is a real craftsman, who is on site working with and directing the crew doing the work.  To prep his estimate, he went onto the roof, took pictures and explained what needed to be done, and why a limestone cap was the only way to fix the leaking permanently.  His was the most expensive of 4 estimates I had, and the only one that made any real sense.  When I saw the extent of the work he and his crew were doing, I told him that I now understood why his bid was as high as it was.  The price was fair. And on his own, he told me about the Angie's list $100 coupon if services exceeded $1000 (or so).  Since he new I had found him through Angie's List, he didn't even ask me to print out the coupon.
After the first of 3 days of work, he noticed some serious deterioration of mortar behind a downspout that had been leaking, apparently for years, given the extent of erosion.  On his own time, he tried to find a replacement section of downspout; but the part he was looking for isn't made, so he fixed the leaky joint, tuck-pointed the eroded mortar, and reinstalled the downspout.  "No charge for that," he said when I went to pay the bill, "it just wasn't that big a deal".  It was to me, so I gave him a $100 tip.
His crew works hard for him, and it looks like they enjoy working for him.  It is a rare treat to work with true craftsmen.

Ward was very responsive and was able to fit my job in quickly and had it done in one day. They showed up on time and did a great job. The price was reasonable. He is very friendly and knowledgeable and didn't try to sell me what I didn't need.

The service worked out well. I was very happy with them. They were very thorough, professional, and detail oriented. They were very meticulous and paid good attention to small detail as they wanted to get everything right. They made sure that everything matched and I was happy with the work.

Rep arrived on time, was personable.  Rep demonstrated windows, but during his pitch, he used terms like, "tell you what I'm going to do, for you, today, I'm going to give you this window for $".  I did not like the car-salesman approach.  The replacement window price was similar (a little less)  as other companies.  He also made bids on the roof and siding projects which weren't even in the ball park with the other six companies I had out (both were about $6,000 higher than the other companies chosen form Angies list).  I opted out.

UPDATE: 10/30/12:  Ref. the provider's response below:  This is inaccurate - there was no hazardous condition nor material involved with my project,  specifically, no "lead".    I had the job done for $6,500 less than the Window City bid.  Other than a steep roof, this was a relatively simple nail-over job.

Bill was very responsive to my initial phone call-- setting up a time at my convenience after work to meet face to face to discuss options to re-finish my deck.  He explained the process in detail and answered my questions. He had several helpful suggestions re:  the hand rail, and even offered to replace the rails if I bought them from Home Depot (which I did). He asked me if I wanted it done soon, and I said I did due to an upcoming family event.  He said no problem, we will get you in next week.  Everything looks great and I'm very happy with the work.  The only minor issue was that Bill said he'd pressure wash the back of the house under the deck (green mold) but he forgot to do this on the day of service.  I left 2 phone messages to ask if he could come out to finish that area and I did not get a response.

Robert and his partner Jerry were the ultimate professionals. I called Robert and he came out the next day and game me an estimate. His price was very competitive and better than most. From talking to Robert I knew right away from the details that he was going over that he understood what we were looking for. Once we agreed on the job and I signed the contract he started in two days. Robert started on time every day and he kept us informed of the progress at the end of every day. They also did a great job of cleaning up at the end of every day. This project took 2-3 weeks and included coordination with other contractors. Robert and Jerry not only exceeded out expectations on the work we agreed on he did some additional work for us at no charge. I highly recommend Robert and Jerry and plan on using them again in the future.
