I go in, make a payment, and they take care of it and it is done. It is pretty standard. They are all friendly.

We have been very pleased with them and not had any troubles with them. They are always friendly. They will answer any questions I have. They make you feel like you are welcome. Most of them even now my name by now. We have checking and savings through them.

    First National Bank - Grayson
We have been using them for about a year now.  They are probably the most established bank in this area and they have several satellite offices in the surrounding towns so we have banks close by.  They do not charge us for their services.  They have a big presence in the community.

My son recommended them. I have had no problem with them. I really have nothing more to say. I have no problem so I guess I will give them an "A".

    The Bank of Kentucky
Had an account here, they find any reason to charge you extra fees. They charged me $100 fee for something, when I objected, they were very rude, so I checked my account and everything had cleared but one check, I took my money out, leaving the amount in for the check and told them to close the account following that transaction. Instead they charged me a another fee, then paid the check, then charge me an overdraft fee plus $7 a day until it was paid, but did not notify me. I called to check that they had closed my account, and they inform me I owe them more money. I went to the bank that day and paid their fees, and told them the close the account. Two months later, I get a statement from them, so I go back to the bank and find out they never closed the account. I demanded they close it immediately, and they tell me they are not authorized to close it, however, she could put a hold on the account so that no activity would be allowed until the appropriate person (which was not there that day) could close the account. I contacted a government agency regarding this fiasco, and eventually I did get back $50 of the fees I paid them. I would never do business with them again and would recommend that anyone who values their money to stay away from Bank of Kentucky. Since then I have heard several senior citizens complain about the treatment they received there also.
