Affordable Seamless Gutters was contracted to replace the existing gutters (and install gutter covers) on my vacation house. The company was very slow to get the work done and when finally completed the workmanship was truly awful. Downspouts (one fewer than on the system they removed) were installed in different/wrong places and terminated ten feet above the ground (i.e., they ended 10' above ground level). Contractor should have connected the new downspouts to the existing drainage lines ( 10 feet immediately below them) just like the downspouts they removed. This shoddy workmanship resulted in soil washing away from deck footers after a rainfall. The original gutters and downspouts (that were removed) were left in a pile in my driveway for me to clean up. As the contractor got good reviews on Angies list, I assumed he would do quality work and that I didn't need to be present when the job was completed. Unfortunately, I paid before seeing the finished job. DON'T MAKE THIS MISTAKE! Contractor will not return my calls. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

Overcharged. Was told they would be replacing shingles, which I would be supplying. Then i was charged a discounted $400 to trim and seal existing shingles. One guy was there for 45 minutes total. Was told I have 1 year warranty, warranty paperwork could not be supplied though. Quality to be determined. Feel mislead and overcharged.

They gave me a 1 year warranty on the thing. They gave me a discount because they were on Angie's List. The guy from another company put me in touch with him. They could have come out here and charged me $1500.00 and I would have had to pay it. So, when he told me it was only $625.00, well actually he told me it would be $675.00 but because you're an Angie's List member they knocked $50.00 off of it. I never saw these people. The guy from the other company said this needed to be done, so I contacted them, and they came out and he inspected it and when they left he said it wasn't as much as we thought. They fixed it, and then they send you a bill.

We got several estimates on our roof after having some wind damage. I wanted to go with someone that would still be around for a while after the job was done. Lowe's estimate was about $500 higher than the others but it also included a little bit extra work and better shingles. Kevin Stevens came out and gave us an estimate. Kevin is great to work with! The actual work was performed by a company out of Indiana. Five Mexicans showed up on Feb. 6. They took off the 2 layers of roofing and hauled it off.  They did a good job. We just had to watch that they didn't throw any extra material in the dumpster. Kevin even came out and picked up the 4x8 sheets we had left over and credited it back to our account.

They were knowledgeable, prompt, brought enough manpower to get the job done, had their own tools, cleaned up, and charged a fair price. It has not rained hard enough yet to see whether there are any other problems, but so far very satisfactory work.

He showed up a week late ran around the roof taking measurements then asked for gas money. I gave him 30 bucks for his time and a little bit of caulk. He said he would provide a detailed estimate. Unfortunately he never followed thru. No estimate for weeks then I get a phone call from him that his estimate must have been lost in the mail and he would get a copy to me the next day. Once again weeks pass and no follow thru.
He is a nice guy and his wife is nice but I would not hire him for anything at this point and I will make sure my neighbors know not to waste their time with this character.
Since then I have had other people do a roof estimate and none of them asked for gas money.
I dont believe the other references on Angie's list and suspect their authenticity.
This is an example of an Angie's List Fail.

The crew actually showed up and began work one week earlier than expected.  Because of caretaking my elderly Mother, I wasn't home during the actual work being done.  There was no advertising sign left in my yard, nor did they take pictures of the deck for advertising purposes as they said would happen. After the work was completed, I was not satisified with the quality of the workmanship nor the grade of wood that was used.  The wood was already splitting and full of knot holes.  I called and kept leaving messages at the company and no one would get back with me.  I finally left a message with the lady answering the phone, Melissa, and explained to her that the top rail board was not even, the posts weren't cut straight, and I was not satisified with the quality.  Without contacting me, and while I was not at home, someone came and put more nails in the top rail which looked worse than even in the beginning (see photos).  Finally I talked with someone named Kenneth who said the wood was top quality and was bought at 84 lumber.  He said he would bring the 84 lumber representative out to look at the wood.  After further calls from me, he and a representative finally showed up a couple of weeks later.  I was told the deck met contractor specs and that it was a good job.  I asked if he could see that the miter corners didn't even match up, that the top rail wasn't flush, and the post tops were not cut straight.  He said it was good work for a deck.  When I said the wood looked like second grade, he said 84 lumber didn't sell seconds.  They ended up saying they would discuss this with the supervisor at 84 lumber and that was the last I heard from them.
Finally I found out the actual owner of the company is Gary Martin.  After calling and leaving messages for over two weeks, he answered the phone when I called.  He said he would come and look at the deck, and set up two different times in which he didn't show up.  Finally after the 3rd week, he came to the house and immediately was on the defensive telling me it was good work.  I asked if he was proud of the work, then why had they not advertised my deck as their quality work as the contract stated they would do. I pointed out the poor workmanship and he answered that was the way decks were built.  He asked me who told me it was bad work, and I told him no one had to tell me...I could see myself the bad craftmanship.  He told me he was going to have to disagree with me and would do nothing to remedy the problem.  I told him since he didn't advertise the deck, then I could take pictures and advertise it for him and he told me he would sue me if I did that.  Then he esculated to the point of telling me I was ignorant.  When he called me ignorant, I told him to get off my property.  No one comes to my house and insults me.
I would NEVER recommend this company and I feel they do poor work and then use intimidation tactics when faced with complaints about their work.
I have more photos which I was unable to upload.

I had called this contractor because he had been recommended by a friend. I had to call three times and on the third time I was promised he would show up, which he did. He apologized for the delay and explained that he had been unusually busy because of the hail storm damage mentioned above. The  owner, Troy, brought one of his employees who inspected the roof and discovered that the leaks I had been experiencing were not from the hail damage, as the insurance appraiser had said, but were from the vents that had lost their seal. They sealed all the vents and then told me it was no charge because of the delay and multiple phone calls. I was blown away. They spent at least 1 1/2 hours inspecting and sealing so I expected a couple hundred dollars in charges but, as noted it was free. I would recommend this company for their honesty and professionalism, even if it took 3 weeks for them to show up.
