    Excellent service! Dustin is very responsive to calls, and works you in as quickly as possible. Dustin had installed our house unit, so he is very familiar with our setup; but I don't think that makes a difference with him - he is extremely knowledgeable with his business, and freely explains as he goes about what he's doing and why he's doing it. So, our unit's line had clogged, so it shut itself down. Within two hours, Dustin had the unit cleaned up and line cleared and running.

    I called Aire Serve of Lake Cumberland on Saturday April 4th.  Out Heat Pump had quit working.  Dispatcher said they were busy that day but he could schedule a technician for Sunday, April 5th between 11am and 1pm.  I questioned him because that was Easter Sunday( surprised but went along). He said they had technicians available but would call me back with a time. I questioned the cost of a service call on a holiday Sunday and was told it would be the standard $69.00   The dispatcher called me back at 10:30 am from (502) 561-0011, gave me the techs name and said he would be to me between 11am and 1pm Sunday.  We were located at a Marina and I offered the gate code.  Dispatcher said the tech would call prior to arrival to get access.
    We stayed put Sunday and I called them back at 1:30 pm to inquire about the service tech.  The girl answering " hope your having a great day"  was surprised that he hadn't called.  She said she would contact him and have him call me right away and verified my number.  I called back an hour and half later, same girl same, useless response.  I expressed disappointment and suggested she inform her supervisor.  She offered to have the owner contact me later in the week.  I needed a service tech , not excuses from an owner.  He should do his job prior to having anyone answer the phone.  I cancelled any need of service from them and called another company.  That company didn't falsely mislead me and showed up promptly the next morning.
    I received a call from AIRE SERVE Monday morning and was told that the dispatchers shouldn't have scheduled an appointment for the weekend.  Why advertise 24/7 service if you don't provide it.  How did they give me a techs name if they didn't schedule him?  Why have dispatchers answer the phone if you don't do weekend service calls.   I believe the management of this company has severe issues internally. 
    There are too many vendors in the service industry to afford someone a second chance.  If you want my business, be serious from the start,  "No shows are a sign of low quality",IMHO

    This is not the first time (nor will it be the last time!) that I've used Solid Air. Dustin was referred to me by a family member. I've had him work on my home HVAC as well as some commercial units. He's always been honest, fair, and easy to work with. I trust him to do what he says he'll do, that he'll do it in the most economical and safe way, and that he'll stand by his work.
    I recommend him to everyone.

    I have been using them for over 20 years. The costs are low. They are a family business. They usually do a better job than any of the local contractors and the guy that owns it is honest with you. If something needs to be done he goes out of his way to help you in everything. He goes above and beyond. I would continue to use him.

    We have used Inner city trades several times both for our home and our rental properties. There are cheaper companies, but Inner City Trades has always been prompt, professional, and stayed within the projected budget. I like the fact that they have truly been reliable.

    After not having heat all weekend I called them asking for a service call.  The dispatcher said she had someone who could come the same morning in just a few hours. He was an hour later than she said but apologized and said he had trouble with his last call. I was still happy he showed up the same day I called. He was very professional and efficient. Only took him 10 minutes to figure out my problem and another 15 to fix it. He even showed me how to program my new thermostat. Very pleased with his work and will go through them again if necessary.

    After being completely disappointed in getting a no-quote from the most popular search of Angie's List in Somerset, I gave Dustin a call. That was the best decision I made that day!!
    We set up an appointment for him to have a look. He showed up right on time and he went right to work assessing my situation. He jumped right up into the attic to have a look (the house doesn't have a basement). I think he was more disappointed than I was when he disclosed that I would need two separate systems, due to the fact that the two attics were inaccessible to each other. Dustin took the time to explain it all to me and I could just tell that he knew what he was talking about, and I knew that I could trust him. But although I hadn't committed to anything at this point, he went on to make all the measurements necessary to do his load calculations (with the other guys, it would have required a separate appointment for this).
    Within a few days I had a written quote for 4 different options that we had discussed. I opted for the 14 Seer dual system because it came with a 10 year no hassle warranty.
    The installation went great and when they were finished, you'd never know they were here except for the two new units in the back and all the new vents in the ceiling. No more electric wall heaters and window AC units here :-)
    My entire experience with Dustin and Solid Air Heating and Cooling was fantastic. I happily recommend him for all your HVAC needs!!!

    I set up an appointment for July 3 to get an estimate on a new HVAC system installed in my house. I received a call from the technician around the time of the appt. His first question to me was how much I was looking to spend, because he could tell me right away if I was thinking about it being in the ballpark or not (I later learned that he had wasted his time with a guy trying to get a low-ball price for his houseboat). I told him that I wanted a professional opinion on my options because my house had electric wall heaters and window A/C units. He showed up and looked at the house and kept telling me it would be between this and that price, but that he didn't do the pricing with this company and that would have to come from his boss. At one point he supposedly got in touch with his boss and he gave me a verbal price just for the new vents that I would need. So we waited and waited and after a while I asked him to give his boss a call. He did but his boss didn't answer. So we waited and waited and finally I suggested that he call me later that day with a price since we both had things to do. He agreed, but first wrote out an estimate with my name, address etc but no price. He told me that would be proof that he showed up so he could get paid. He left, and I never heard back from him or the company. After a week, on July 10, I sent an email to the company via Angie's List explaining the situation. But again after another week, I never heard back from the company.

    Called Aire Serve since our air had mysteriously quit working in the middle of the afternoon, we had called several other companies and they were all no shows, Aire Serve was at my home within 45 minutes of my initial call, looked over our system and found the problem and had us up and running in no time at all! We are very happy with the service that Bo Taylor provided for us, very courtious and understanding of our needs, even sat down after the work was done and chatted with us, such personal service and really enjoyed his candor. Our problem was not a huge one, and took Bo just a few minutes to fix. Thank you Aire Serve, for being there when we needed you!

    I called Aire Serv of Lake Cumberland to get a price for a new heat pump. I had gotten 2 other estimates before. Chris came out and took his time to check out my old heating system and we talked about the different options he could offer me. He gave me estimates for 3 different systems and I told him that we (my wife and I) would talk about it and let him know soon which option we would go with. We decided to go with the 15 SEER unit. Chris had told me that he would be going out of town for a few days and could probably start the work on next Wednesday. He said it might take a day and a half to do the work. He called me when he returned and we decided to start on Thursday instead. He said they would be here around 8:30 AM and they were here at that time. The work was done very professionally. They had to modify quite a few things to get the indoor unit installed correctly. Outside the cooling lines and the electric lines were in a state of disarray and they really worked hard to get them run neatly into the unit. Everything looks very nice plus they got the work done in one day. They carried all the old parts off and all in all it was a very good experience. I would definitely recommend them to anybody.
