Purchased 10 inch diameter stump grinding on August 31, 2016 from Abundant Tree Care Service.  Since there was no contact from the company, we called their customer service representative. We were told that we would receive a call in a few days. The company never return our phone call to discuss service and it is now October. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

As promised, David called the night before arrival. The crew was on time and started right away. Since my gate to the fenced back yard was two small for his lift, the crew had to climb the trees to remove the limbs and cut down the two pines as well as the limbs on 13 other trees. The maple in front was cut down easily by the crew and the stump was ground up. The two oaks in the front yard were cleared of many dead limbs and raised as asked. Clean-up great, my yard and trees look wonderful. The work took 1 ½ days to complete since they were unable to use the lift in the back yard. David is a great working supervisor as he did as much (if not more) work as his crew. Since I have 31 pine trees and five oaks still standing on my 1.3 acres, I will definitely use Advance Tree Service again when needed.

Joe was extremely kindhearted and gave me advice on what to do with the hole in my backyard where the pool once was! He was so fast on getting the job done!! He made me laugh and explained everything he was going to do and made sure I was 100% satisfied before he left!

Todd Hancock is very polite, professional and knowledgeable on landscape.  He arrived on time for the estimate and was very patient and worked with me so I could get the most out of my budget.  I was pleased with the services his team provided and will definitely use him in the future.  I recommend him to everyone!

Fiirst I want to admit I gave them a great report in July which was premature ...... I have deleted that feedback in exchange for thisreview.  My mistake was not giving  them more time to prove their commitment to keeping their customers happy!  Shame on me for not paying  more attention to the complaints made about ANTZ  before I hired them.   I had even talked to the owner about the content of one of the complaints and he convinced me that they were not at fault.  I've now learned my lesson to believe what I read!   I hired them to do some landscaping and my weekly lawn maintenance.  All went well except for a few incidents like not discarding yard waste after weeding all over my large yard.    I can overlook some things ...... except for items done incorrectly over and over again even after bringing to their attention on more than one occasion.  My frustration is in regards to their lawn care service.
I hired them to do my weekly lawn maintenance which initially went well until the person in charge of cutting my grass left the company.   From that point on there was no consistency or attention to detail given.  I had walked through my expectations with the head of the lawn division before hiring them and he said my expectations;i.e., no grass clumps, no lawn clippings in mulch, etc. were common sense things that they never did and not to worry.  Well ..... I've given them three attempts to correct the situation and even sent an email to the owner to meet with me to show what I was unhappy about.  His response was that he couldn't make me happy and that I should find someone else to take care of my lawn without even seeing the condition my lawn was left in (I have pictures to prove).   They are just like most lawn companies out there ..... all talk and no follow through.   My suggestion is if you want a service to provide a nicely manicured lawn ..... DON'T HIRE ANTZ.
To add ..... their landscape help are not knowledgeable regarding plants so be prepared to tell them how to trim and what is a weed and what isn't.  Also, they prefer all communication to be via text or email which isn't an effective way to build a clientele.  I know this since I have had a successful business for 30 years.

Steve squeezed us into his already tight schedule so we would have a presentable yard in time for Thanksgiving. He and his associate, Mike, were super professional, very efficient and did everything to our liking. In just a few visits, they turned what appeared to be an abandoned house into a welcoming and beautiful home. Will recommend to everyone, especially those in the Shepherdsville area to help grow his business out here and keep him coming back to help us keep it looking great :-)

He started the job around the first of April. I had to fire him twice and threaten to sue him before I could finally get him to finish the job. It was a massive job and it cost a lot of money. The wall looks good, but the plants that he used were of poor quality and they were placed very poorly. There were small plants placed behind large plants that you wouldn't be able to see once they had grown. I had to make them dig up some of the plants and place them differently. Also, he didn't use landscape paper under most of it and he said when he finished the job on June 5th he would be back the next day to put down some weed control. After I made several phone calls to him and threatened to report him, he finally came back and sprayed for the weeds on June26th. By this time there were lots of weeds. I understand this was a large job and would cost a lot of money, but when you pay that much money you expect professionalism and quality plants and service and I didn't get either. Also he had to come through my side yard to get the materials to the back yard. The side yard was pretty tore up and all he did was grade it a little and put very little grass seed down

Not well. Steve Butler never called back. Perhaps it was an oversight. Perhaps he doesn't service Shepherdsville.

    I have contacted another company.

I got a coupon in the mail and I called them and then the next day a salesman comes home. He looks at everything and he takes a little measurement and he says I am going to come out as I am from the local office and I can give you a better price than what they did through the General Corporation. I said my lawn is full of weeds and we are putting our house for sale as I don't like living on the highway and so what you think about doing a power seeding. They have machine that throws seed down so he says it is better early enough in spring and it is cool and wet now. He measured the front and backyard and said they can set me up for the program for the spray and we will come out and do starter pre killer with pre emergent because we don't want to kill the grass seeds. He gave me a price and that was for everything and I thought that was great because I had couple of them come out and the estimates were so high. The guy said we can get started the next week. Trugreen called the next day and to get it started they want me to prepay. I couldn't give the guy a check and they wanted me to give a card. I gave them my visa card and nobody showed up. They said they will get me on schedule and I waited and one day this girl calls and says you were on schedule to get sprayed today but I didn't make it to your house but it wasn't even 5:0 clock yet in the afternoon. She said she can't come for two weeks and I said I have to get my l lawn seeded. I said the guy told we need to do weed kill starter fertilizer first and she said someone will call me and nobody called. I called them again. If you call the local number and if nobody picks it up it gets transferred to some other number and I won't even know which state I am talking to. I called the salesman and he said he will ask the boss to call and nobody called yet. I called seven different times. In between those times I come home one day and I run to the grocery store and came back and the guy was here to do the seeding. He said he was about to leave and I said nobody told you were coming. I told nobody has sprayed yet. He says I can't put weed killer down before the seed and they should have done it weeks ago and I said they should have done it. He said he will leave and will reschedule. I said you seed because I don't know when you are going to show back up again and I need to get this done before it gets warm. Next day we see the ground and we are like there are no scratches in the ground and I said I hardly even see any seed. I saw the backyard and there are very little seeds. I called and complained again and said I want my money back. I called corporate and she said I am calling the local office and asked me to hold and she said Tim will call be back. He called but he had a bad attitude and I said I want my money back. I asked him how many pounds per thousand are you supposed to put down a seed and he said they usually put around 8 or 10 depending how bad it is. I said I have a receipt from Geoffrey who put the seed and he has written down 3 pounds per thousand and he put down 39 pounds of seeds and he said he will have somebody come out. The manager comes and sees the front yard and he says it is awful. He goes back to the office and said I will get my money back. He even had to argue with the general manager there. I started communicating with the manager. I left a message to them saying I talked to my lawyer and if I don't hear from somebody she is going to proceed for me and I am going to call the attorney general because of your business practices and you are actually cheating me and I am going to call Better Business Bureau too. The other guy calls up and says I am sorry I thought Tim took care of it but right now he is in the hospital. He said he will do it himself and get my money back. It took a while like a week and finally I got it. I finally got my money refunded and it was a horrible experience. They spoilt the whole thing and it is so hot and I can't get it seeded now. Price wise I thought it was a good deal but it is not a good deal if they don't know how to do the job. The package for spraying was high without 10% discount.

He is great. He was nice enough and not to push me as far as doing the landscaping himself. He said he will come out and do a dry up for me so that I could save money by doing it myself. When they came out to do the shrub removal and trimming they were very quick. They guys were friendly. They worked hard and they cleaned up after themselves really well.
