  • They were the only company at the house that day, they scratched my wood floor, when I called the owner to let him know about what happened , he showed up and check on the floor, then he said that they didn't do it. He refused to pay for that at 1st, but when my partner showed up, it was only when they offered to pay for the wood floor. Also the pipe that goes out of the roof, they put a bunch of sealing on the pipe, it was not installed properly. The pipe was leaning back and its pulling the shingles up on the roof.. When I called then to come and fixed it, they said that they would come and fixed it, but they did show up. Then I also noticed that the PVC drain pipe underneath the crawlspace was sweating, I called them again to fix that and also the pipe on the roof, they said that they would come the next day. Again they did not showed up and there was water drifting in the crawlspace. When I got a hold of them again, and told them that the selling of the house was cancelled because of the drifting water in the crawlspace, he said that they run out of moisture wrap and its not their problem and hang up on me and now wont call us back at all.

  • If you ever have any problems with heating or air I highly recommend you call Robbins. They are very professional . I had them install a new Trane air conditioner nine years ago and it is still working fine.I just recently had them install a new furnace . Our old one was over twenty years old and time to replace it. The two men they sent out were very nice and wasted no time getting the job done.

  • Called ahead and arrived a couple hours earlier than scheduled which was a good thing. Troubleshooting was quick. Unfortunately, it took 2 trips to get parts because the supply house didn't give the tech the correct part the first time.

  • The first service technician arrived and cleaned the units, checking the Freon level and adding Freon (or the equivalent), and checking the furnaces. One of the furnaces is in the attic, and it was hot up there that day! The problem wasn't fixed according to their measurement tools, so another technician came the next day. The air conditioning worked after the second technician, and we were charged for materials and the net time to repair the units, not the total time of both technicians combined, which is fair. The technicians were actual technicians, and not salespeople trying to convince us to replace all our equipment. Overall, we were pleased.

  • It didn't. When I made the initial appointment it was for a Monday and after an hour and a half of waiting I call the office and was told that no cools are put at the head of the line which is understandable I can appreciate that. I rescheduled and the second appointment they were also late, I called their office, again, and was told (again) "I was about to call you" and that the owner said that I live too far out of their service area. So what's the point of filling in your ZIP Code to find out if you qualify for this deal in your area?? Apparently that feature does not work... For anyone. So I wasted roughly 5 hours of my time that could have been put into something productive. This clearly was a bad choice!

  • They did such a good job with that all the time. They would be coming within like a half-an-hour after you called. We bought our house and we continued to use them. The price was very reasonable. They come work for us for an hour and the cost be like $100. When they come to my house they always bring my dog a bone.

  • It went good but I don't think he solved the problem. I was supposed to have a so-many-point check on my air conditioner. I think he found the problem but he didn't do whatever he was supposed to do. He should have done everything that he should have done. The price was good. That's why I got it.

  • The initial install seemed to be professional and went well, but there have been continuous things that needed to be fixed.

    The biggest problem is this ... they don't use the same technician to adjust the issues. One comes out and says this is what's wrong, but then when another crew comes out, they have to start over. It'd cut down time, cost, and aggravation if I always had the same person coming out. I hate that about it.

  • The system is much more efficient now. There were design flaws in the ventilation and return system which they fixed. They were very prompt and they did what they said they would do. They had to fabricate some of the ventilation duct work, which they were able to install the same day. They did a really good job and they followed up throughout the following year to make sure we were happy.

  • After moving into a home with some A/C issues- we decided to call Allgeirer to come out and take a look at what may be going on.  The tech (Matt) that came out was precisely on time.  He came to the door, introduced himself, and then put booties on before entering my home.  He was extremely professional, and explained to me what he was doing and looking for the whole time I was with him.  He went over our options.  We had a freon and oil leak in the coil above the furnace unit.  The cheapest route would be to simply replace the inside coil.  We were told this would be approximately $1,100.  Or- we could look at replacing the entire unit since ours was low efficiency, and nearing the end of its life expectancy.  I was told I would be contacted by their Sale's rep over the course of the next couple days.  The diagnostic appointment cost 78$. 
    In the meantime- I had 2 other companies (which I will leave unnamed) come out and look at the furnace.   Neither one were nearly as helpful or descriptive as the initial Allgeirer rep.  They never even gave just replacing the coil as an option.  They were telling me everything needed to go.  One rep from another company couldn't even fit in the space to look at the furnace- and still charged me $88.00 for just coming out. 
    The phone call from the comfort designer Michael came the same evening as the tech came out.  We set up an appointment for him to come out and go over our options.  He came out (once again on time)- and spent TWO AND A HALF HOURS answering questions, and going over things with us.  He walked us through what different options we would have.  He took measurements, and then we began pricing out options that would work for us.  He began with the cheapest option of just replacing the coil- and then we worked our way up to the full system replacement.  He explained a thorough cost benefit analysis of each option. We ended up choosing a higher end model and full system replacement.  We walked away confident in our decision.  He put everything in writing for us- and called while we were sitting with him to set up the install appointment.  They were able to get us in 2 days later, but because of my husband and I's schedule, we had to wait 3. 
    The install techs arrived around 8:30 to our home.  They once again wore booties- and laid down blankets to protect our flooring.  They worked incredibly hard throughout the day- not even leaving to take lunch.   We small talked, and they were very professional while on the job.  Towards the end of the day- we came across an unexpected snag.  Once the install was complete- when they went to test the system, the thermostat wouldn't kick the system on.  Turns out- there was a break in the previous thermostat wiring.  They spent an additional 3 hours fixing that problem for us.  We offered for them to come back another day since it was getting so late- but they insisted on finished the job for us, and we very apologetic (even though it wasn't their fault at all).  They ended up leaving our home at 8:30-8:45 PM.  They cleaned up their mess, and you would have never even known they were here (aside from our brand new system!) They never left- never stopped working, I never even saw them eat! They were the hardest working team we have ever had in our home.  Overall, our experience with Allgeier was FANTASTIC.  My husband and I are extremely impressed with the operation that they are running.  We will never ever work with anyone else for HVAC again.  Thank you all so much!!
