Gutter Repair reviews in Shepherdsville

  • Very smoothly. Brad inspected the roof after my insurance company looked at it. He noticed damage to the gutters that the adjuster missed. Brad emailed photos to the insurance company and requested the gutters be covered. Adjuster came back out and agreed that they did have damage. Brad took care of all of this. Only call I had to make was to tell insurance company it was ok to talk to him because I had hired him to do the work. Roof took 2 days to finish. It looks great. I got a 3D shingle. Gutters took one day and I added gutter guards as an add on. They put on leaf relief. Both crews cleaned up well and all work was finished within a 5 day period. This is the way contractors should act. Pinnacle was responsive, answered emails promptly and made this whole insurance claim easy as can be. We got 4 estimates. Pinnacle wasn't the lowest price but Brad knew his stuff and I felt comfortable with him. They didn't disappoint.

  • Have worked with Chuck Story in the past and he is very professional with great home interior design ideas. I had the pleasure of having Martin and his team install the windows and doors. Excellent job. Would highly recommend.

  • Was slow to start due to weather. Once started they were fast and efficient. Decent and comparable prices. Do make sure your instructions on what you want is clear as they sometimes get lost from manager to worker. But manager will make it right in the end. I would .recommend them and am planning to get more work done by them.

  • Had extensive hail damage to roof, gutters and siding. Duke's Roofing was my 2nd quote on repairs, though he was a few dollars higher, I appreciated his professional manner and projected work time line. Crew was out quickly, had a miner issue at start of repairs, Brad Oliver ((owner) handled it immediately and made sure there were no further issues during work. Was very pleased with all repairs. Would refer Duke's Roofing to others.

  • We met Mr. VanMeter thru a mutual friend and he gave us estimate. We met at the property and after a thorough inspection, Mr. VanMeter wrote up needed items and a couple of things that would help with mainaining the property (rehanging the gutters etc). He was prompt courteous and very knowledgeable about the repairs. He advised he would try matching the aluminum as it had  been some years since we did the other side of the garage.  We agreed to the price which was very reasonable and set a time to begin. Due to weather conditions, rain, etc we had to postpone the start, but Mr. VanMeter kept us updated on when he could start. He was able to come very close to a color match on the Aluminum and we were pleased with this efforts.  He oftained permission to enter the next door neighbors yard and set up scaffolding prior to the work beginningd. His crew was appro 1 hour late that first morning, but Mr. VanMeter and his son were already getting things set and working on the prep. There was no waiting for work to begin, so the job was finished in good time and the clean up was very thorough. Nails and waste were all removed promptly and Mr VanMeter helped with patch work on a few shingles at no charge.

  • They were very, very good. They were good people and worked hard. They stayed extra hours to get it done. We had no complaints whatsoever. We have recommended them. Our insurance helped with the roofing. We got several bids for the roofing and they were high to begin with. They matched our bottom estimate. We really wanted them to do it because they took care of little things along the way that they saw that were done incorrectly. They went the extra mile and fixed what needed to be fixed. The roofing job was much better than our original job. We have some extra projects we want to get done and we will call them first. At first we thought the price was high, but they did so much work and did so much extra that we thought it was worth it. It is a family business. There were here when they said they would be and they called. They asked if they could work on a Sunday. We trusted them and left the house open for them.

  • I met Willie VanMeter through a realtor friend .  He looked over the job for gutters.  Gave me a good price, I accepted and he was on site early the next morning.  His crew was ready to work, they asked questions about the down spouts for gutters and went to work.  A great looking job, they cleaned up all the cutting and worked fast to get the job done.  While the trucks were being loaded we talked with Willie about the siding, he gave us a price and we agreed to have the job done.  He made sure to ask the neighbors about the scaffolding he would need to set up in their yard to access the second story of our garage.  Early the next morning they arrived, set up the scaffolding and within 4-5 hours the siding was done.  There was a small tear in the garage shingles from wind storms, my 65 year old husband was going to do this; Willie took the few extra minutes to fix this for us.  I was very pleased as this kept hubby off the ladder and out of harms way.  They cleaned up all the boxes, vinyl and really did a super job.  I would recommend this contractor to anyone, he will give you a fair price and good work, quickly done and keep you informed during the work.  He is someone I will call on again.

  • Overall, the experience was excellent. The salesman accidentally ran over a tube of silicone in my driveway and it still needs to be removed, but because of the weather they haven't come out to fix it yet, but I think they will. The price was great, the employees arrived on time, and the job was done quickly and efficiently. I'm happy with their services and I would recommend them. 2/24/11- I await a reply from the company on what they are going to do to make this right. 3/16/11- I am anxious now to see if the shingle will lay back down along the flashing where they bucked from water leakage that now appears to be fixed. We haven;t had a very bad storm yet since they seled the morter above the flashing and I'm hopeful that it is now fixed. They still have to come out and remove the 8 large globs of sealent from my driveway and I think it's there plan to come back out when the weather get's hot for easier removal.

  • I started out with a frantic need, my porch wall had popped apart during a heavy windstorm and there was almost nothing holding up a large section of my roof. They were able to get someone out to me within a few hours of my initial call, before a couple of other places I called had even responded, they were already en route. The contractor, Tim, was able to quickly shift the wall back into place and keep my roof from collapsing and discussed a couple options with me on how to permanently affix the framing to the masonry. After they averted what could have been an enormously expensive, destructive accident, I got to talking with Tim about some of the other projects around the house I had in mind. I discussed some of the minor roof leaks that I had noticed and he came back the following Monday to repair the flashing and end caps on the roof. He explained what he was doing and how he was shaping and caulking the metal to ensure the water was all diverted away from the joints in the metal roofing. He came back shortly after, with another worker, and they spent a day adding a gutter to the rear of my house and fixing up the siding and flashing on my barn. The gutter is good and solid, the downspouts have been directed right where I'm planning on having a drainage ditch put in. Working on the barn, they fixed missing flashing, enclosing some gaps that would allow water into the loft and re-attached some metal panels that had fallen off. While they were working on the barn, Tim talked me through several issues with the construction and a lot of options that I had to improve the strength of the loft and brace the ridgepole and roof. It was never a hard sell for more work, but he wanted to make sure I understood what the issues were and how it could reasonably be improved. I plan to take his advice and do a good bit of this work myself, but there are some other suggestions that I may have them come back to work on. Tim was also very helpful in discussing some options for a planned drainage ditch in the back of the house. I had fixed in my mind a complete a French drain, but he pointed out that the new gutters might make enough of a difference that I could go with a much simpler and cheaper drain system using catch boxes under the downspouts. After I can assess the effects after the next big rain, I definitely plan to have them back to do this work. They've been great to me. Quick responses, good work and a free sharing of knowledge without an aggressive sales pitch. I've already learned a lot and I plan on having them back out to work on several other small projects.
