First Choice Ankle Foot Care Ct
Charged me for a boot and told me it should be worn 6 weeks. Possible surgery. Foot was better in 4 days with rest. Followed up with a different doctor to find out I had arthritis in my feet.

    East End Obgyn
Dr. Kotheimer has been my OBGYN for over 20  years.  I have trusted her insights, opinions, and skills as an OBGYN surgeon.  She goes out of her way to ensure she understands the problem and finds a solution.

I described the difficulty above. The only comment regarding the torn muscle in my leg, and quot;it can take a long time to healand quot;. I could have looked in a mirror and said that to myself. Very dissatisfied with the visit. At the very least, have an open mind, listen and educate yourself with the patient's information. I felt I was near death before finding a great doctor, elsewhere, well educated regarding the disease of the thyroid. He made me feel like a new person over a period of several months.

Best doctor's office in Shelbyville! I've tried a few and I was shocked at how unfriendly other doctor's offices were. This office was totally different! First of all, when you call in, you get a real person on the phone. Not, please press 1 for...or 2 for..... as if these tiny businesses really need that type of answering service-there's usually only 2-3 options. Then, I was able to be worked in quite soon, way faster than the other offices. The office appeared clean and nice and the friendly staff made me feel at ease. The doctor, Dr. Massey was friendly, intelligent and very gentle. I'd recommend him to anyone in town. The most impressive part of this office was the TB test. I was unable to come in 48 hours after the TB test and was going to have to do it again unless they could take me right before closing. I called them and they said they'd hold the doors open as long as I needed to get checked. Such things were common 20 years ago, but unfortunately have become a relic of modern medicine. The rigidness of the other offices make it difficult to work things out. Shelby Family is welcoming and professional. I highly recommend them as a doctor's office!

I was new in town and came in for a new patient appointment with my new Dr. Same. Instead of him, I got a physician's assistant, Dr. Laura Davis. It did not go well. When she came in, I was finishing off talking to my wife and she rudely told me that she'd leave unless I put my cell phone up--as if I'd play a game of Fruit Ninja during the exam. She then grabbed my physical paper and looked at the section on any life threatening illnesses that could prevent me from doing the job. She started to put down every single medication I took, including Claritin! Under hippo laws, my employer has no right to the information about my medications. They only are to know if I can complete the job without impairment. Imagine if someone took Viagra and their employer knew about that? It would be embarrassing information to say the least. I told Dr. Laura that she knew nothing of hippo laws and she proceeded to say that there was a personality conflict. ??? I then took a TB test and was told to come back in 48 hours and the lab would check me in right away and and quot;the whole thing takes a second.and quot; I waited in the office for 45 minutes and never got checked! I then told them I didn't want to be their patient anymore and cancelled future appointments. Done, right? Nope. 3 weeks later I received a letter that they couldn't see me anymore as a patient because of Doctor-patient conflict. As if I ever actually saw my assigned doctor anyways, it was always a physician's assistant. The doctors may be ok, but the office itself is a nightmare. Stay away! They are a bureaucratic nightmare who doesn't care about patient care.

Everything went GREAT! They got us in as a last minute sick appointment and the treatment we received was above board and beyond expectations. Tracy B. in the Shelbyville office was so nice and personable. My son has been a patien here since he was three years old and we will never see another practice for his allergies and/or asthma!

Contacted office by phone and set up appointment. They mailed paperwork to save time and we arrived 30 minutes prior to appointment in case additional work was needed. The office was clean, pleasant and staff friendly. Taken back to exam room, waited about ten minutes on physician. She spent time talking and educating my daughter (a new expectant mom). They spent time going over testing, ultrasound, etc. Blood work was performed in house and the lab tech was so kind and instantly put my daughter at ease, getting her labs on the first stick.
As a registered nurse myself, I know what to look for and what to expect. I contacted nursing friends in the OB/GYN nursing field and this group came highly recommended. I can clearly see why! Excellent overall first time experience for my precious baby girl having her own baby now!

My son had an ear infection so I took him to the acute care hour that lets you see the physician's assistant without an appointment. She prescribed a medicine that is not working for my child.
I called her two days later to report this and had to leave a message twice at the desk.In the message I explained the situation and asked if she could call in a different medication. She never called me back. When I called back the third time she was gone for the day and I was told that they could give the message to the doctor for when he finished his patients later that evening.
This means that my child will go another 24 hours in pain before treatment will start because they do not return phone calls.

    Partners in Womens Health
Dr. Kuntz and the whole team at Partners in Women's Health are amazing people. They are caring, compassionate and excellent examples of health professionals.
During my grieving she helped me tremendously, got me to the help I needed. None of this was exactly in her purview as my gynecologist but she did not simply dump me somewhere else and go on, she cared! The entire staff exuded compassion and understanding.
I cannot sing their praises high enough.

All of my appointments have been completed with compassion and efficiency. Both doctors in the practice work very hard to spend adequate time with me when I've been ill. They allow me to ask as many questions as I need to ask and are patient when explaining effects of medicine, or symptoms, or why they are prescribing a certain treatment. I feel respected, and valued as a member of my own healthcare team.
