It went smoothly.  We had to reschedule the appointment, and it was very easy to do.  We showed up on time, and we were in within ten minutes.  The office staff was helpful and quick.

The clerical staff is well-versed in taking care of insurance issues, and setting up schedules. There was never a delay in waiting for my appointment, and rehab would commence promptly. Great experience!

    LIFELINE HOMECARE OF FULTON
We had used them for my dad and they were excellent with him. I think they changed hands or something since then. We had a caretaker this time. Sometimes there could have been a misunderstanding between us and her so I will give them the benefit of the doubt there. Sometimes they don’t communicate very well with each other and so I don’t know what’s going on. Sometimes they say that they are coming and they don’t show up. Sometimes we would call them and they would not come out. I would say, all in all, they are about average but I would recommend them. I haven’t been to their office but anytime I called in I could talk with the head nurse.  The bedside manner depended on the person; the one that did her bath was excellent with her.  My brother takes care of the bills so I really can’t say much about the billing. We’ve had to take my mother to the hospital and I think that she is going to be transferred to a nursing home. I am sure they did the best they could.

    CENTER FOR BALANCE PHYSICAL THERAPY
When I first went in, I've seen a male physician. It's a husband and wife that run this place. He sat down and did all the assessment. This doctor knew the procedure. He was able to perform the procedure. I went back and I'd seen that his wife did the procedure. The only problem that I had was he collected a copay. I saw his website. If you make the appointments on certain time and day of the week, he doesn't charge. When you go in and someone does a diagnostic test, that was supposed to be free. When I got back to them about the copay, they told me they were going to refund me but they never did.

    PT Pros, Inc
Following a shoulder injury, my wife was referred to PT Pros by our primary health manager. Unfortunately, my wife was misled and deceived by the staff at PT Pros in Leitchfield regarding copayments. She inquired and attempted to pay and was advised that she did not have subsequent copays. The therapy received produced no results and the staff advised her that a 'few more visits" attempting a different approach might help. She was advised that those visits would be covered by our insurance. In pain and willing to try anything to alleviate her shoulder issues, my wife agreed and continued the therapy. The therapy did not help and my wife was subsequently referred to an orthopedic specialist. Then came the surprise. Despite the fact that PT Pros advised my wife that there were no subsequent copays, we later received a bill for $420 (a copay per visit). I attempted to clarify this with the billing section from PT Pros and was given a very rationalistic and deceptive explanation (I recorded all calls and will happily share them with anybody that requests them) Their final stance was that it is the "patient's responsibility" to ensure they understand the billing and copay requirements. (Oddly enough, my wife DID inquire was told by the staff at PT Pros that we did NOT owe anything) I will pay their bill and strongly caution anybody that needs physical therapy to ensure they understand that the administrative staff at Leitchfield PT Pros will smile and tell you one thing and a month later you'll get an unexpected bill. Beware.
