    Whitsett, Dr. Christina
I had a dental checkup there 2 days ago ($123). They changed their name recently and got a new computer system so not even my name and address were in their records. Hmm. The checkup ended with a recommendation for a deep cleaning (scraping and root planing, 4 separate anesthetized sessions, ~$1,000) based on X-ray 'bone loss' and gum pocket measurements, and they identified 5 cavities that needed to be filled ($2,082 work recommended). Having had a strong recommendation from my brother to try the U of Louisville dental school clinic, I found their price for deep cleaning to be a good bit lower ($252 less, based on estimates), and I decided to go there for the work instead. This morning I went to U of L and was told I had NO cavities, and that I did NOT need deep cleaning. They explained several deep gum pockets in the back were probably misidentified by Integrity Dentistry because the gums themselves are rather think and high there, and that X-ray voids around several old fillings were questionable, but told me there were no indications of disease (NO need for the deep cleaning, and NO cavities to be filled). I question the competence of the hygienist, who took the gum measurements, and the dentist, who was a bit too quick to recommend a fairly drastic treatment for what the U of L professionals dismissed as not warranting ANY treatment at all.

We are new to the area and had to find a dentist to replace a spacer that fell out for my 6 year old son.  They were welcoming and the dentist was so nice and comforting to my child  and eased his anxiety.  She talked him through what she was doing and very patient with him. We have since been back since to have another one replaced too and the same welcoming experience.  No wait.  Easy to get an appointment.  We were without insurance at the time and they helped with billings.  Our family will be going back for routine check up's going forward and have become our new dentist.

He's been really good as far as pricing and working with me and my daughter. My handicap daughter is 42 years old and everybody in his office are all really good with working with her and she loves to talk and they talk to her.

I have been going to Dr. Spencer at Pebble Creek for about 7 or 8 years. Our entire family goes there and usually we come in together occupying two or three hygienists chairs. they are willing to work with you and try to fit you in if an emergency arises or if you do have a family that wants to have adjacent appointments. Love Dr. Spencer, and in a pinch I have seen the other two doctors as well. The dental hygienists are wonderful - I usually see Erin. I really feel a sense of them caring about my family. It's amazing how much conversation can occur when you have your mouth open as your teeth are being worked on! I have seen them for getting a cap put on for a tooth and a root canal. They had no problem with me putting on a headset and just tuning out while they worked. Great care and expertise.

I filled out my paperwork a few weeks before my actual appointment which saved me some time the day of. I only had to wait a few minutes and that was because my previous dentist hadn't sent them the information they needed. A dental hygienist preformed my actual cleaning, but she was very well-mannered and really good at it. Dr. Olfield came and checked everything once the hygienist was done. And because it was my first time there, I got a cute little gift!

Would have been a new patient, they set me up with an appointment right away for emergency, but found out they did not participate with the type of Delta insurance I have.
