ADistinctive Design RemodelingIt went really well. Our project manager Ian Baker did a great job of coordinating everyone and communicating with us. We knew who was going to be there when and what to expect as each day progressed. The contractors they choose were a pleasure to work withand did a great job. We needed some extra work to try to tie somethings together and was able to hire some of there contractors outside the job to handle these matters. I'm definetly considering hiring them again for some basement remodeling in the future.- Rita G.

FDecks-r-usI have filed a criminal complaint against Clark Eugene Miller, III. This scam artist quoted us a low ball quote. Gave him the job and then everything was a complete disaster. He took our money, did not perform the work promised and just left. DO NOT HIRE these clowns. They will ask for draws from you everyday until you have paid it all out and then they will never get the work done. Hope he and his son goes to jail and has to pay restitution back to us.- Dean W.

There were some issues with the ordering of correct items and / or correct quantity, but management followed up promptly & all problems, resolved in a fairly reasonable amount of time. AAustin's Construction & Design LLCA stellar job. Went above and beyond expectations, working quickly amd efficiently. There were many valleys in my roof to contend with and the professional expertise he and his crew demonstrated were exceptional. They even hauled away old deck steps I had laid out after making a repair myself and cleared away tangled vines from my garden hose, saving me time and back ache. The week following his work a major storm came through and not a single shingle was disturbed. Would recommend this veteran owned company to anyone looking for construction/remodel help.- Adam C.

AJordan Cockrell's Mulch & Landscaping IncJordan was incredibly responsive and available during the process, and his team was very prompt, arriving early every morning, often working in oppressive heat and sun. We only had a rough idea of what we wanted and we added a few things (built-in benches, extra set of steps) after the work had started. Jordan and his main deck guy, David, were incredibly easy to work with and open to changes/additions. Jordan is also well-connected, and knows folks for other projects (concrete, stonework, ponds, etc). I would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to others!- Laura C.

FThe job was supposed to start on a Monday, he texted and had to delay until Wednesday. Wednesday came and they didn't show up. I had to contact him to find out why. He was not a good communicator or very professional. His crew would come and work for a few hours and leave but no one would ever communicate when he would be back or where they were at on the project. It was supposed to take 2 to 3 days and ended up taking almost 5 days. I specifically asked for a bigger posts to be put in which he agreed to but then brought the smaller posts to be put in and only got the bigger ones when I had to keep asking and put my foot down. The price was great, the quality was okay but everything else was horrible. By the end, he was very rude and pushy about getting paid as quick as possible. They left my yard a mess with trash, water bottles and leftover supplies which I had to ask them to clean up. He was a complete dick. This was not a good experience at all.

ANu-Wood Works did a fine job staining our new deck and pergolas that were built this past summer. The owner Mark is timely and efficient with communication. He custom created a stain colour for us. I wanted a teak-shade and he was able to create this for us. It looks great, and he says he will be adding this shade to his line, I highly recommend you check it out. The young man who stained our deck, Cris, did a great job and works very well on his own. I did notice a few details upon my inspection, minor missed spots, but Cris was diligent and ensured I was happy before he completed the job. I highly recommend this company for all your outdoor staining needs.
