    I called two other companies: one was rude and the other wanted more than two weeks for a repair. The Mr. Appliance Rep came the next day at a time that worked for me. I received a phone call and a text with his picture when he was on the way. He arrived exactly when he said would. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to put a patch in while we waited for the part to come in in three days. The refrigerator worked fine with the patch and has worked fine with replacement part. The entire experience, including two visits, parts, and service, cost only $168. I will use the company again for other services. This was the most impressed I've ever been with a service provider.

    He worked us into his busy schedule on short notice since this was a relatively small job and we were without an oven.  He came when he said he would, completed the job efficiently, and charged us a very reasonable fee.  I showed him other things I needed to have done, but were not pressing, and he agreed to do those after his vacation (and ours).  So, I DO plan to use his services again!

    We left a message with Mr. Greene on Saturday Evening explaining our problem we were having with our ice maker. We also left him information on what brand model and etc. on fridge. He arrived promptly on Monday Morning found problem within few minutes and repaired. Entire repair only took 30 min. or so if that long. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely call him again with next problem with appliances. One more thing I really appreciated is the way he cleaned floor under fridge before sliding it back:).


    Update: Called Rick in April 2013 because we were having problem with ice maker again. Rick came that same evening. Checked ice maker & found problem immediately. It wasn't a problem with the ice maker he had installed in the fall of 2012'. It was a frozen line running to ice maker. Once again he arrived promptly when he said he would, found the problem immediately & repaired it in a matter of minutes. My husband & I are thrilled with the excellent service that Rick has provided to us and would highly recommend him. He is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

    I called this company about a washing machine that was leaking and needing repair.  They were very helpful on the phone and scheduled an appointment for the very next day.    I ended up being able to solve the problem on my own and called to cancel the appointment.  The lady I spoke with was very professional and understanding.  I did not feel pressured at all.  
    If/when the washer starts to leak again, I will definitely be giving this company my business.

    The tech came and did a great job, installing the hose quickly and determining that a part was required in order to get the softener to drain.  He came back promptly the next week with the ordered part and installed it very quickly.

    I called Rick early on Monday morning and described the problem with the refrigerator.  Rick arrived at the fouse within an hour and assessed the problem of a bad controller board.  He had to order the part which he got later that day and returned to fix the refrigerator later that afternoon. 
    Rick was very responsive, professional and a pleasure to do business with.  I would highly recommend him and will definately use him again in the future.

    This is the second time I have used Dad's. This time it was the refrigerator.  After months of unusual noises, it stopped cooling. The initial service call was very reasonable at $60. Bryan was on time and actually took the time to test components, including calling the manufacturer to verify testing to insure the compressor was still OK.  The last thing I wanted was to pay $300 for a repair only to replace the compressor too.  This was critical in the decision to repair or replace.  The unit was 5 years old, and I am glad I decided to have it repaired.  Another review mentioned that Dad's marks up the price of parts.  I found the parts prices in line with what I could purchase on line for a new replacement part.  Considering the time he spent, the overall cost was very reasonable.

    They took two days to call me back once I called and asked they come out to complete the work. They asked me for my Credit Card information before the repair which I did not like. I cancelled the job and called another company who was able to just clean out the drain for $80 and everything turned out fine.

    I was very pleased with this company. I felt their were very reputable and honest. Another company quoted me $387 and said they had to replace my drain and this company was just able to clean it out in no time and save me a lot of money.

    Frustrating experience all around.  To start with, they were five hours late for their appointment.  They added less than 3 pounds of refrigerant to our AC unit at a total price (including service call) of $475 (this was the "discounted" price after I complained about them being late).  I was surprised at the price and called around to check after they left - only to find out that the going rate is about a third of what I paid.  It wasn't a complicated job at all.  They were here for less than an hour total. I have used them in the past and been quite pleased.  Hopefully this was just a fluke, but I won't be calling them again.
