    Louisville Eye Center
I had gone to an urgent care center for help with a case of red eye that would not go away. The doctor there told me I had conjunctivitis and that I should throw away my gas permeable contacts and have a new pair made. He gave me a small sample of antibiotic drops that did not help. I was reluctant to discard my gas perms, so I made an appointment at the Louisville Eye Center. Dr. McNulty performed a detailed evaluation of my eyes and told me I did not have an eye infection. The problem had to do with tear production and inflamed eye lids. He gave me a prescription for eye drops that took care of the condition very quickly. Dr. McNulty also measured my eyes for a backup pair of eyeglasses. He took the time to find out how I'd be using the glasses (mostly computer work) so the prescription would best fit my needs. Up until now, I'd been resigned to dealing with eye doctors who are gruff, dismissive, and seemed to hate having to deal with patients. Everyone at the Louisville Eye Center was pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing eye care. The office is a bit hard to find, so leave a few minutes early for your first visit. There is a Walgreens Pharmacy near the US 42 end of the shopping center. Louisville Eye Center is behind the Walgreens.

The appointment was a wonderful experience from beginning to end.  Dr. McNulty took his time and performed a thorough eye exam.  He was very willing to answer all my questions and seemed genuinely concerned about my eye health.  I also ordered glasses as my prescription was outdated.  They have a great selection of designer eyewear.  Prices are $$$$ but the styles and selections are very fashion-forward.  I will definitely go back to see Dr. McNulty.  It feels greta to finally find a great Doctor with a pleasant personality!

I get my eyeglasses from there.  I don't have to wait much to get in.  The doctors are courteous.  They provide courteous service.  I have had a good experience with them overall.

Dr. McNulty was very professional yet approachable and friendly.  He did a thorough job of examining my eyes and making a recommendation on a new pair of contact lenses for me to try.  He listened to my questions and concerns and addressed all of them.  He also did not try to pressure me into any additional purchases or services.  It was the first time in a long time that I felt like a professional was giving me an eye exam rather than someone who is trying to go through as many patients in an hour as possible.  I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. McNulty to my friends and family.

Attended appointment after I had to cancel 3 previous times. Office was understanding and non-jugemental. Was able to reschedule within a week of each original appointments. Waited about 15 minutes once in office. Don't always have a wait. Our family of four (2 teenagers) had their checkups within 6 weeks of mine. Childrens appointments did not experience any wait. Husband had small one. Most important is the caliber of service and care. Dr. Rosengarten is extremely thorough and kind with a sense of humor. Even my teenage daughter is comfortable with him. My son has Apserger's and Dr. Rosengarten and his staff are always patient and never condescending. My husband has cataracts and other issues being monitored related to cancer treatment drugs including immuno-suppressants. The doctor is always on top of these issues. We totally trust, through experience, the care my husband recieves. We wish all of of his physiscians were as thorough. Dr. Rosengarten's euipment is always up to date. He runs a very tight ship. Reminds you of upcoming appointments with a timely confirmation letter and phone call. Your appointment card will be a refrigerator magnet. He sends out birthday postcards and a thank you card when you purchase glasses. His frame selection is stylish and varied. If you don't see what you want, they will order it for you. Catalogs are available but I have rarely had to use them. They knew of a place where my husband could have his favorite style of Oakley cycling glasses fit to his prescription. Normally prescription sunglasses are only offered by manufacturers in few specific styles. Dr. Rosengarten's office makes every effort to have your new glasses ready ASAP. There are full time opticians available to help you choose the perfect pair with the perfect fit. Our family likes to have Steve or Gary help us with our choice. They have been there the longest. But the entire staff is helpful. Even the office manager, Sally, offered support and helped look at frames with my daughter when she was facing the possibilty of her first pair of glasses. All physicians could learn from this practice. I should know. My husband has a team of 20 plus specialist treating his illnesses.

They take good care of you. I have really bad eyes and they actually can get my prescription into a stylish looking frame so that means a lot. They maybe just a little bit more expensive but they have good glasses.

They have a good selection of designer frames and ordered two pair of glasses in my prescription from another eye doctor. They fitted the glasses when they came in. | |I was very satisfied with the glasses and how they fit me.

They are fine. I have been using him for years and he is a nice guy. Sometimes you wait and sometimes you don't; just like any other doctor. He has good personnel and a nice selection of frames. Sometimes they try to upsell you or add extras on that may not be necessary. I will use them again in the future.

I went in there and it was so comfortable and that is why I keep going back.  They are just great.  Bruce Springer is the owner.  Once I went in without the prescription and he told me that it was not a problem and he took me glasses and got me the correct ones.  Whatever the situation, he makes it work.  They run a really nice office and he is really good at what he does.  People who have difficulty with dry eyes and other things, he just figures it out.  He really thinks ahead.
