I highly recommend Steve and his crew.  Punctual, honest, and hard working.
They showed up when they said they would, helped me remove a
fence post (side note: their equipment needs about a 10 foot access path), and
got right to work without a hitch.
They cut down 5 trees (the highest was over 80ft) and removed
the stumps as well as two additional stumps.
I had marked which trees to remove so all I had to do was stay out of
the way. They took care of all the little things I did not know would be involved
    in tree removal.
Steve and his crew did the little things that
impressed me: laid down plywood to protect the grass, they suggested I cover my
fish pond and helped me cover it to keep sawdust out, used a blower to clear
off my deck when done, helped me replace the fencepost we removed at the start
of the project, and removed additional rubbish from my yard (i.e. a log from a
year ago and the branches we cut down the previous weekend).

Great price and really AMAZING service!! They were able to squeeze us in last minute among several rainy days to get the grass cut before my daughter's birthday party!! We are new loyal customers for sure!

    • In June, the assistant manager, Jesse, came out to my house and listened to some ideas I had for landscaping and gave input too. She took notes and then in a few weeks mailed me several detailed estimates of various beds we talked about and gave drawings of them as well. I quite liked the estimate because they were detailed with all the material and plants needed with unit costs and totals. This way I knew exactly what was going to happen and could ask questions about things I would not necessarily have thought about. The drawings must take her a lot of time to do, they are detailed, color coded for the plant flower color and very neat. They are on graph paper and drawn to scale, which is helpful. She also made separate estimates and drawings for each large bed, so I could plan the work in stages.

I knew I wanted to plant in the fall (best for plants) so over the summer, I shopped there, tweaked their design here and there and went in and asked for plant substitutions ideas. This was my first landscaping project and I am not familiar with a lot of plants, so I labored over some decisions and asked a lot of questions and to her credit she always was patient.
When they did the work, I thought the crew worked quickly, left the site clean and were courteous. They blew off the driveway afterward to remove dirt and debris and also remembered to put a tarp under their truck when in my driveway, in case it leaked oil. Although, I found it best to go through Jesse if I needed something adjusted midway, I felt the crew was well aware of the plan and preferred not to have input from me but rather Jesse instead. Also, Jesse was available to me as the wall was going up to make a final decision on the layout and also at planting to get my approval on the layout. One small complaint would be that they forgot to put boards down on the lawn to run their wheel barrow over which we had discussed with Jesse. My husband is very picky about ruts in lawn, however, that is probably a matter of opinion on whether or not the ground was too soft, which they decided it was not. They did not run the Dingo equipment (mini front-end loader) because it would make ruts, so I know they were aware of it at least.

    E-Town Small Engine Inc
They came and picked up the mowers and we were told they would need about 2 weeks since they were very busy at this time of the year. However, they called just 3 days later and said they were finished with the work. At that time they delivered the mowers back to our home. Very efficient and professional.

    Macs Mowing & Tree Service
They got everything looking back to the way it should. My experience with them was great. I called them and set up a time. They showed up on time, they what they were supposed to do, and went away. I called them to cut one more tree. They did a great job. I spent $1,400 on the job. I got what I paid for. I will use them again in the future.

They did a lot of work. They were efficient. I called them on a Sunday and they came out. They got everything going and within a couple of days, everything was done whatever I wanted to be done. They cleaned up the mess.

He charged us to put the tree in. He told us the tree cost $150.00 but he left the price tag on the tree and it was only $129.00. He charged us $150.00 to put it in. We had a ten percent off out of the Angie's List book and he was supposed to take ten percent off the price, but he still charged us the regular price. I later found out that he was supposed to put a piping around the tree and he never did that. We didn't know about that till next summer a year after. The first time he came out, he quoted us $500.00 for the landscaping. The second time he came out after we talked to him about the ground and everything else, he wanted $1300.00-$1800.00 for the same work. He was nice about getting the tree and putting it in our yard. A year later after that winter went through, the tree just died. We tried looking him up, we tried calling him and emailing him, but we never did hear from him again. We wrote him a check. We didn't notice until after the check had cleared that it actually said on the back that it was cashed in Florida. We didn't end up getting the landscaping done in the front because the price had gone up so drastically.
