K&O Electric is the most amazing company to hire for any electrical needs in Northern Kentucky. I called Sunday night and they where there Monday morning!!! They where in and out in no time, extremely professional, and just nice guys. It's hard to find contractors that you are comfortable with to do work in your home. Highly recommend, quality work, fair pricing, and there when you need them...A+A+A+ Jason and Dina Park Hills, KY

He came, looked at the job, said he had multiple ideas and would get back to us with a quote. After a few months we never received a quote, we called to remind him and he never bothered to call us back, very upsetting.

It took a few days to hear back after leaving a message. Got appointment set up. Joe did not show up or call. I called their office and spoke with Valerie. I told her he had not shown up. She said she would find out what was going on and call me right back. I never heard from anyone. If they didn't want the job, at least be professional enough to call and say so.

I contacted 3 tree services. Anthony got back to me the same day. One other took a week, the third has not contacted me. I needed some branches removed from a tree in the front of my house that were hitting the side of the house and the gutter in the front during high winds. I also have an ailing ash in the back that I wanted an opinion as to whether it was ash borer and an estimate to take the tree down. Anthony pointed out that the tree in the front had been severely trimmed previously and suggested I do the same. He called it "normalizing". That made sense in that I could then trim only as needed and it would be a few years before it would bother the house again. Plus, the tree will look more balanced than it had. He quoted a price of $250. The ash, being nearly against an 8 foot fence on 2 sides and over 30 feet tall presented a problem for removal. I'd been quoted $1k to $2k to take out the tree. I don't have that much money lying around so I asked about taking the tree down to where the trunk branched out. I would have a 9' trunk in the corner of my yard but I wouldn't have to take down the fence to get equipment in. Fortunately, there's an empty lot next door that Anthony could bring his truck into. He quoted me $400 to take the ash down to just above the top of the fence. Three days later he and hos crew were here. The ash was cut down piece by piece from the other side of my fence. Anthony said the wood was still good at the point he stopped cutting. He left a branch and some some new growth and is hopeful the tree will come back. Hopefully, without a bug problem. His crew then started on the tree in the front. Total time was 3 hours or so. I'm very pleased with the work done, Anthony's knowledge & professionalism, and will definitely call him again when I need that front tree trimmed again. He saved me a lot of money today.

I had my property surveyed because when I bought it , I was told by a neighbor that the propert line actually extended beyond the existing fence line. Greg was a bit difficult to get in touch with but I am assuming that is because he is busy. I consider this a good sign of someone who is in demand. Greg showed up as scheduled and promptly got to work. I was there when he started but had to go leave to go to work. When I returned home, he had the yard staked so that I could very clearly see the property lines. I received the report and the drawing in a very timely manner. Greg was considerably less expensive than the other places I contacted which made the experience that much better for me. I would use Greg again and I would recommend him to others.

Difficult to communicate with. Poor performance. High cost for what was actually done. Weeding/mulch placement : Initially wanted weeds removed and landscape fabric placed on top. Tim felt landscape fabric would be visible under mulch and advised against saying that the mulch would kill the weeds. When areas were examined I found that weeds were not removed. Mulch simply placed on top. Tim came back out when I called to complain. Simply used weed eater to sever weeds. I supplied Preen to be put down. Most of what I supplied was not used and remains in container. Now weeds have returned and I will need to remove. Cutting back shrubs and brush. : Had to have Tim come back to complete his work as he did only what was visible fom the street and did not complete the work in the back yard. Raised beds: Discussed at onset of project. In the end after 3 weeks of discussion, Tim shifted responsibilty for finding vendor and placing order for dirt/ arranging for delivery back to me. I found another landscaper to do the work. Chipping brush in compost area: Never did. I hired someone else.

Everyone I spoke with was very nice, but my lawn looks worse than it ever has. I asked them to come out and help me with all of the dead patches of grass and told them I had a root issue. I asked if the roots needed to be dug up before grass was planted. I was told it did not. I asked if I could get a warranty or some sort if the grass didn't survive, etc. I was told no because I would need to take care of it properly. I paid for the initial grass seed to be laid and watered it meticulously (I googled how to take care of it). There was about a foot of straw covering almost my entire yard. I was given no instructions on when to get the hay up/how, when/how to water, etc. I eventually just pulled it up the hay and saw some grass growing. I then bought a package for A&A to come out and treat for weeds and to continue to help it along. By the end of the last season, I can honestly say my yard has never looked worse. There are more weeds than EVER (more weeds than grass), none of the grass survived and there are now more bald/dead patches than ever. The roots/mushrooms have taken over even the previously healthy grass. I didn't mind spending the money/buying the package because I thought I would finally have a nice. healthy lawn. I was totally wrong and will now need to spend the money again somewhere else. The only reason I didn't give an F rating is because all of the people were very nice, so this is very unfortunate.

All went great. The building is old construction and extremely old and everything had to be custom made and built to fit. There is still more to do and I will continue to use them now and for future work. I have referred them to several friends already. They are conscientious, careful and trustworthy. Also extremely reasonable with price. Great communication and updates with everything as well.

I called last week and spoke with Mike who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was able to schedule the service the following week. I had a lot of overgrown plants, weeds, and leaves. They showed up on time, asked what I needed done, and quickly got to work. They had everything done in the promised time. It looked amazing after they were finished. Mike, Doyle, Ciaria, Larry, and Toby were very friendly, worked well as a team, and did an excellent job. I have had several landscape companies over the years, but this is the best our yard has looked for fall cleanup. I will definitely use them again.

The trees never seemed to thrive and by May one of the trees was almost completely brown and losing its needles. The other tree was not flourishing either, but not as troubled as the one. Richter Landscaping was contacted and workers came and replaced the obvious dead tree. By the end of June the second of those two trees had reached a similar fate and was dead and fully browning. Richter Landscaping was again contacted but failed to respond in any manner to persistent email messages that began on July 6 and continued throughout the month. I called on July 25, 2016 and was told the tree would not be replaced. Later that day, Rob Richter, the owner, emailed and indicated We cannot cover the 2nd tree under our warranty. It states that we can warranty items for up to a year, provided proper care. His own response acknowledges the presence of a one year warranty and his inference that proper care was not taken is 100% unfounded, especially given the fact that Richter has never been on my property to inspect these trees at any time. So, how would he know whether they were properly cared for or not? And how does he explain why the two trees standing next to the dead tree are in fine shape and have been for years? I responded to Richter's email and re-explained my position on this matter on July 25, 2016 and was ignored. With the tree clearly under warranty and no actual evidence whatsoever to suggest it was not cared for, there is no reason for the tree not to be replaced. Very inefficient handling of a sale, nonexistent communication, and poor treatment of a customer. Two trees planted at the same time, one died almost immediately, the other died soon thereafter. Surrounding trees doing well. Same care. The only sensible conclusion is that there was something wrong with those 2 particular trees. Just because one has a nursery with other trees that are flourishing means absolutely nothing. Whether it is a new car, a TV set, or puppies in a litter----just because most are doing well does not mean the particular item in question is inherently doing well. Other than faithfully watering the trees I don't even know what this mysterious "care" would have been that we supposedly did not do. If there were secret care instructions beyond the normal care given to a new tree I would think it would have been related by the employees who planted them. They offered NO care instructions whatsoever. It is beyond belief to me that a company would take such a stance and mistreat a customer to this extent, especially when their only response is based on a weak generalization that does not come close to being applicable in this case. That, coupled with Richter's terrible communication and indifferent attitude leaves only one warning...BEWARE!!!!
