Critter Sitters are a wonderful group of people who love animals and are willing to come to your house at various times through out the day and play with your dogs, take them for a walk, make sure they are fed, love on them etc., so you are able to take a vacation with peace of mind. They are also willing to help with other tactical things needed while you are out of town such as turning lights on/off, picking up the mail etc. They send you a picture of your animals and feedback after each visit, and their website is easy to use for scheduling and payment of services.

Sarah watches my 3 cats when Im out of town; I come home to happy cats. I get awesome pictures of them and a report of how they are doing. I have older cats who dont like change so they try to keep the same person on the visits. A couple of the cats will have anxiety about me leaving. If there are any accidents while Im gone they get them cleaned up right away to prevent anymore happening while Im gone. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a pet sitter.

It went very good. My big old dog went very peacefully and Dr. Simpson and his staff were the BEST..I will use them for all my animals.
I have a lot of experience with vets having 4 dogs, Horses, and barn cats on a small farm.

She didn't come at the times requested and she gets my mail and sorts it. The animals are always taken care of.  My biggest problem was that she didn't space her visits properly - there was way to much time in between visits.

I needed a quick fix for my filthy dog, after a bungled appointment at another groomer. I called PetSmart, and they got my dog in in under an hour.
Unlike other groomers, PetSmart checks vaccinations before accepting animals. I think this is great! Erica took care of me, and she was the very definition of and quot;professional.and quot; She finished earlier than promised and was eager to communicate with me to ensure customer satisfaction. And... the service was cheaper than any other place I've found.
    Highly recommend this place!

I will never set foot in this establishment again.  Made a Friday appointment for premium grooming service.  Arrived on time, filthy dog in tow, only to be told my appointment was for Saturday.   Staffer had clearly been looking at the wrong date when she put me in the book.
I was willing to reschedule, but I had to do something immediately about my filthy dog.  She told me I was welcome to do the self-service wash, but I would have to pay full price for it, as well as the appointment the following day.  She was unwilling to comp me the self-service to make up for her mistake.  Nor was she was willing to credit the cost of the self-service toward my bungled premium grooming.
And... she repeatedly blamed me for her schedule error!  I asked her, "What ever happened to 'The customer is always right?' "  Her response?  A sarcastic, "I think I'm pretty good at keeping track of the schedule."
Well, she has one less customer to keep track of.

My dog received all her vaccines for the next year, along with several medications and six months of flea-heartworm prevention medicines.
FInally vets that know what they are doing! Dr. Jolly is great, friendly, KNOWLEDGEABLE and aggressive in treating my dog's issues. Medications are expensive, yes, but they are everywhere. The outcome has been FAR better than the other vets in the Lexington area. As to the corporate cost structure, my experiences in seeking vet care has led me to choose Woodford.

The first thing these nice folks do is put you in a room with a television commercial for some sort of insurance program. I HATE that! They really do push this insurance thing - which actually isn't real insurance. They even give me a contract to fill out and sign.
I took the contract home and read the gobbel-g*** legalese. I then googled the thing online and boy are there lots of people who feel scammed by the process.
As to my dog, the chipping process went well ($35.00) but they didn't seem to know anything about the allergy issues. I ended up going to Woodford Animal Hospital for more experienced vet care (and not that much more in terms of cost).

These are the right people for this business. I spoke with Nancy (the owner) on several occasions and even stopped by to have her meet me and my dog a month before the stay. After dropping the dog off early on a Tuesday, I did make follow-up (worried dad) calls to Nancy and she was always available and attentive. I picked Maggie up on a Sunday afternoon and she was in great shape.
I'm relieved to live a few miles from All Creatures Inn in case I need a place for Maggie. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services in the future.
Most importantly, All Creatures Inn requires proof of immunizations and checks for fleas for incoming dogs. That's what a good, responsible boarding place should do (and what responsible pet owners must do).

From the moment I arrived, I got the impression from Noah's Ark that my credit card had an appointment.
This problem is not uncommon with veterinarians who have loads of overhead and expensive
student loans to pay off. I finally concluded that if I'm going to pay top dollar, why pay it for
    mediocre outcomes and unnecessary surgeries?
Most importantly, my dog's medical issues only got worse. I finally took her to Woodford Animal Hospital
in Versailles. Sure, Woodford is a part of a large veterinary corporation and they charge a lot - but not more
than Noah's Arc. But with better resources and much more experienced professionals, you get better outcomes.
