It went really well from the start, I had a deadline that I thought was pretty tough, but J & R Construction wasn't phased by it at all. Jimmy and Josh both came out to discuss the details with me at the property and advised me on what they recommended I do and how the options would go. Then they went back to the office and estimated the project and got me an official written estimate. The job did not exceed that estimate and they met the deadline. There were multiple elements involved, electrical, ceiling fan, removal of a garage door, drywall, flooring, vinyl siding, a window, air-conditioning unit, etc. I'm very happy with the results and I highly recommend them to my friends and family for any of their remodeling projects so I also recommend them here on Angie's List.

This is the third time I have had Robert do work for me, and I will not hire anyone else. He does excellent work, won't stop until it's done right, and is easy to work with. The first time I hired him was to redo work I had done by another person on my back porch. It was very important to him that I was happy with the job, and he put an extra day in making sure the wood was ready for staining. I just can't say enough good things about him.

I had bought doors already, I just wanted him paint and reinstall the doors and locks.  The owner, Tom, sent out another worker to do the work.  He spray painted them instead of painting them with a brush, outside in a dirt field on a windy day, and got the paint all over my fence.  Then it rained and the raindrops got all over the doors.  He put the locks on the spotted doors.  The locks didn't work because they were drilled incorrectly.  I called the owner and he came out the next day to try to fix the situation.  I told the owner then that I didn't think we should continue our relationship because I was leery of what has already happened.  One good thing about it was that he didn't charge me for the service.

Tom and the men were very professional. They showed up on time and worked all day taking very little break time. They were prepared and had all the needed supplies and materials to complete the job. I will definitely use them again for future projects. I hate recommending them too highly for fear I will not be able to get them back when I need them but they deserve an A plus rating. Good job guys.  I am well pleased.

It looks ok. However, from the beginning we have had trouble with drafts around our west- facing windows on windy days. It is noticeable colder in those rooms. The owner came out and put some styrofoam blocks in the tracks of the windows after installation, saying that the installers probably had not put them in. That has still not been enough. I called in January to find out that this window company was out of business (not the owner), and there was nothing they could do to help. I was told that 12 window companies have gone out of business since Fall, 2010.
I would not use them again because with some of the installation they did not do a careful job inside, even though they told me I didn't have to move furniture. Molding around the sliding glass door was not properly replaced. My husband has had to caulk some outside. We don't know why we have ants coming in around the windows in the living room.
I would use a well-know brand window company after this. They are not going to go out of business. In the future I would not replace as many windows, just those on the sides that showed from the road.

The work went excellent from start to finish.  They did what they said they were  going to do. Started and finished when they said they would.  I did have an issue with one window afterwards.  Someone was out the very next day, which I did not expect and was very surprised.   I think the biggest asset with this company is they use their own employees allowing them to be responsive when a problem does arrive. That was one of my biggest concerns in hiring a contractor.   I would and will use this company again.

It went great we intially signed up for a free estimate when a young man knocked on our door, then the factory rep came out & gave our estimate. After we decided to buy the windows they went into production because all of Air-Tite windows are custom made so it took a couple weeks, Then they installed them in one day.

The is the third time I have used Champion.  They have replaced all but garage windows and three exterior doors. They will do all future work!
