    MEINEKE REVIEW This company is an incompetent business and the manager or owner who���s name is Charlie in my opinion is a con artist. I took my vintage pickup truck to Meineke on Pimlico Parkway last month to have dual exhaust installed and a couple oil leaks repaired at a cost of approximately $850.00. When I picked the truck 3 days later, they had installed the exhaust, but the tail pile was crooked. The oil leaks were not repaired. I took the truck back 4 more times during the next 3 weeks, but the leaks were still not repaired. I was told by Charlie that there were other leaks and he charged me an additional $450.00. I was then told the truck was finished and picked it up, only to find the next day after sitting all night in my garage that the leaks that I paid to be repaired had gotten worse. I took the truck back and every day I was given a different excuse by Charlie why my truck was not ready. Excuses such as: the parts has to order the part, or the parts truck broke down or the sent the wrong part or I don���t have the correct tool to install the part etc. After Meineke had the truck for 8 days, I was told the truck was finally finished. I picked the truck up and Charlie then told me that the leak was not completely taken care of and he had ordered yet another part to fix it. I decided to not take it back for any further work, but rather asked Charlie for a partial refund so that I could find a reputable repair shop to do the work. Of Course he refused to give a refund. I then contacted Meineke Customer service and they are a joke as well. I was told that they had spoken to Charlie and he would finish the work properly. This fly by night company should not be in business and I will never do business with any of Meineke���s shops again.

    Not well at all. They proceeded with the work even though she never approved anything beyond the two new tires. I intervened and told them she would just come get the car. They then presented her with a bill for the COST OF REMOVING THE NEW STRUTS!! Right, the ones that were never approved in the first place. Luckily I was able to get a manager to intervene and he reduced the charge to only the two new tires. The man waiting on my wife clearly wasn't happy and said it was coming out of his paycheck. Too bad. Once she got home we noticed a hubcap was missing. Needless to say, when we called them to inquire about the missing hubcap, well of course they knew nothing about it. I've been told by others this place has a reputation for taking advantage of those who don't know much about cars, especially women. The $2,500 they wanted for the work was almost as much as the wholesale blue book price on the vehicle!!

    It was free, it was only the second oil the car had. They give you free oil changes when you buy a car from them, and they did tire rotations and a 24 point check over of the car.

    They do it by appointment, they came out and said they were running behind and that it would be an hour to an hour & a half. Which seems like a long time, given I had made an appointment. But, I will said, that they did it in the minimum amount of time that they said, it was an hour. 

    I wasn?t particular upset, except it takes an hour & a half to get the oil changed. But, generally they were very nice about it all. They did it as quickly as they could, so everything was fine. They do a fine job! 

    There was some confusing information, I did the appointment online, I ran into problems, so I tried their chat service. Their chat service was great, very quick and really helped me.
    When I got there, the mechanic who took the car was very helpful. So, I tell you overall responsiveness is very good. It was an inconvenience for me to wait an hour & a half for an oil change and when I had made an appointment.

    They were replacing the water pump. They took off the water pump and found that the housing and the motor had a crack. So, they tried various things, they tried soldering it and they tried any number of things. 



    I took it back several times, it even leaked again and got onto a serpentine belt that they put in, the main drive belt, they said, well that has a lifetime guarantee on it, so we will just replace that, because they had put it in. 



    They just kept working on it until they figured it out. They were frustrated, but they weren?t going to give up on it. Finally, they said, if you could find, we can?t find one, we have tried. There is a place online, called Junk Yard .com and if you can find just that piece of the motor and buy it, we will put it on and that will fix the problem. 



    I found it right away, I paid $50 for that, got it and they put it on. I went back to them for this problem probably 7 times and they never charged me anymore money, even when they put on the housing unit, and that is just unheard of!



    They are very, very fair and they do good work. I have had other issues, I could tell you lots of stories. But these people are honest. Good workers and they are dedicated to taking care of their customers. 



    I think it is by far the best, certainly in my lifetime, and I am 63 years old, the best mechanics I have ever had. I have never had any negative experiences with these people! They will be my mechanic for as long as they are around.

    It was the last day of a big sale. They were pretty good, but it wasn?t what I would consider as idea. They leave you hanging a lot of the times when you are talking about a car, because they got to go back and talk to their managers.

    I hate that aspect of it, but I have never bought a car where I didn?t have to deal with that. I had a brand-new guy and it was the first car he had ever sold and he was actually really good.

    These guys did a superb job on my car and were more than professional from setting up the appointment to delivering on the service! My car is a 2006 Scion and had only been vacuumed a couple of times since I got it, because I have moved every 2 years for the past 8 years, letting the car slide. Yup, embarrassing... :o/ It ended up raining halfway through the day they came (they apologized profusely, but that's nature!), but they came back the next day and made my car look brand new! They even put on some new pop-on hub caps I had bought for FREE! I highly recommend these guys!

    Detailed my 2010 Toyota Camry. Martin and his two member crew did an outstanding job detailing my vehicle. They worked almost three hours completely detailing my vehicle inside and outside. My car is black and it had some white paint over spray on it from when I had my car at work while they were doing some spray painting outside. They were able to get all the over spray off and when they were finished my car looked like new. Great job guys. I will be having them back soon to detail my Toyota 4Runner. The good thing is they came to my home to do the work.

    Set an appointment for the very next day and they were very accommodating with the scheduling. Excellent product offerings and explanation of the benefits and results expected. Work was completed as promised with high quality products and installation. Results were fantastic. I'll be using Precision for all window tinting applications.

    From the time Joe, Monthie's sales person enter our home they impressed us with there professionalism.  The first thing Joe did was to put covers over his shoes to protect the carpet.
    Joe showed us all our our options including all the rebates that were available for choosing high efficiency equipment.
    After getting estimates from other companies we called Joe back mainly because he told us that there was a $600 rebate being offered on their Carrier Infinity gas furnace, that no other company told us of.
    After talking to Joe It only took 3 or 4 days for Monthie to start installing the equipment.  We contacted the gas company and got  their advice as where to place the gas inlet pipe.  Installation of the gas line, furnace exhaust and fresh air pipes were not easy because we have a finished basement.   But the Monthie workers got it all done in about 4 days.
    After the install was complete Joe sat down with us and explained how to claim all the rebates that were offered, and even provided all the forms for us to file and copies of proof of purchase for each rebate.  Which totaled $1500.00 in all.
    Joe also gave us an owner's manual and explained the warranties.
    All in all we were very satisfied with our experience dealing with Monthie Mechanical.

    I use my minivan primarily for trips with all of my grandkids.  Needless to say, my carpeting was a mess with spilled juice boxes, soda, ice cream and even rust and grease marks.  Leather seats were in desperate need of a good cleaning.   When Marvin and his crew finished my car, it looked like it came directly off the car lot.  Carpets and all interior looked like new.  I even had a few 'scuff' marks on the outside of the doors when I tried to clean off paint from where other car doors had marked my car.  They were able to get rid of the dull marks and make it look like new (very shiny).  I even had left a childs booster seat in the car and he cleaned that too (including getting the dried food and gunk out of the drink holders).
    Best of all - THEY CAME DIRECTLY TO MY HOME.  Everything they needed was on their truck.  They did not even use my hose and water.
