My ice maker had to be replaced. Rui Marques was the technician who came out. He was prompt and very courteous. He explained everything in detail .  He was even nice to my dog who tends to get very excited when people come.  I was very satisfied and would definitely recommend them.

He did it for free because there was a 60-day warranty on their work. I called them and told them that we were having the same problem again and they came within a day or two and took care of it. They specialize in large appliances. They have a fully marked truck and they have a website. The same guy came back. He's ready for the next time.

A.M.A. Services is an authorize repair place or factory authorized technicians and they work on my Frigidaire dishwasher. I called Lowes yesterday to tell them how wonderful I thought this guy was. I?m a firm believer that?s why I like Angie?s List. If I am a firm believer you should know how to give back the credit to people. People will pick up the phone and complain all the time but never fall back and say this guy was good that kind of thing and I?m one of those that call and tell you when I think somebody has been great and this guy was wonderful.

First of all he was on time, very professional, dress professional i.e. he has a nice uniform on. He wipes his feet when he walks in my door. I know a lot of people don?t think that?s a lot but for me it?s a lot. He told me things about my dishwasher that I did not know. He was above and beyond. Yes it?s hard to find people like him because it?s simply because he was doing a service for Lowes doing an extended warranty works. He could come in and just did what he needed to do and leave but he takes the time to tell me how to take care of my dishwasher, how to clean my dishwasher and if potential problems come up and look at this and this first before calling. He is very knowledgeable.

Found water leaking into basement and started hearing metal on metal sounds in dryer in early November 2012. Called Eagle Appliances and DeWayne showed up on time to diagnose. Found ruptured water hose on washing machine and broken bracket on drum of dryer. While here we asked about getting better tasting ice from our ice maker and rotting water transfer hose to upper sprayer in dishwasher. DeWayne researched, gave us approximate prices, and then ordered after we agreed. He was able to return in a few days with all parts and repair all items within a few hours. No problems even now 6 months later with any of the repairs nor replaced parts. Excellent service, focused and competent repairman.

I thought my washer was not spinning out enough water. I had had another company work on it, but I felt it was not better.DeWayne Hobbs fixed two places the other company had worked on that were not right. He could see instantly where it was not right. He was familiar enough with my machine that he knew it was spinning correctly. I had trouble with an odor in the machine. He left me tablets to run through and told me what to buy to do it again.Because it was not an emergency, I had to wait about 10 days an appointment. But it was worth it. He was prompt, worked quickly, and knew the washer. I would definitely use him again and I highly recommend him.

Our Fisher and Paykel dryer was now out of warranty and the heat quit on us yet again. We had this corrected in November by an authorized rep who just vacuumed out some lint, hit the reset button and was on his way. It worked well for 3 months then the same issue occurredand hellip;NO heat. We went to Fisher and Paykel's website to find a different service person since now our dryer was out of warranty. We called Woodie's Major Appliance Service and they scheduled Rusty McClain to come out on April 27, 2011. Due to bad weather they rescheduled for May 2, 2011. When he showed up all he did was disassemble the lint filter housing inside the drum, vacuumed it and reassembled it, than ran the dryer with nothing in it. He made sure the reset button was set and told us to use less fabric softener. When he went to check the vent for lint and clean out what little there was he stated his dissatisfaction with our vent. He did say it would be fine without the piece that is pushed up by the air. WE TOOK THAT OUT WHILE HE WAS HERE. When he left we put our wet clothes back in and presto within 10 minutes we were back to square one, no heat. We called Woodies who just took $73.00 from us for less than 15 minutes and NO NEW PARTS , to let them know it wasn't heating again. The lady called Rusty and when she called us back she told us we needed to bring our vent up to code. Rusty told us , when he was here that it would be fine without the cap on. Now I was being told and hellip; Our vent was NOT code and he would NOT come out until we replaced it and after we did that he would replace the thermo overload reset button. We knew the vent WAS NOT the problem so I did everything the first repair person did and it still quit. I went on-line and found some advice telling me to vacuum the heater box vent for lint. I did that and we have done over a months worth of clothes with no mercy and we haven't had a problem. Oh I forgot to mention when we found the solution to the problem we put the part back on the vent that Rusty told us to remove. IT NOW WORKS FINE. We used the identical vent on our dryer in Michigan for 15 years with NO PROBLEMS. The vent is UL approved. Why wouldn't he just check out the dryer first before trying to blame everything on us. I will never use this service again. If the vent was the problem why wouldn't the first person that came out have mentioned this to us? Why would it have worked for as long as it did? Why would it be working now?? To me it's just an excuse to get $73.00 out of my pocket and put it into his for doing next to nothing while providing himself with yet another service call after we spend MORE MONEY TO REPLACE A VENT that doesn't need replacing. Then spend even more on Rusty to replace an unneeded RESET BUTTON.. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

June 2010 - Fridge not cold... called Arpor, very punctual, refrigerator duly fixed. Technician advised my evaporator fan needed to be replaced. November 2010 Fridge again not getting cold and called Arpro again. Again very punctual they came out and fixed the problem - technician advised my evaporator fan needed to be replaced. I told him this was only replaced 5 months ago, however they charged me again. I dug up my old invoice which clearly states that all parts are guaranteed for 1 year. I called Arpro office and man there said that as I did not have copy of original invoice at time of work that I was due nothing. I told him I could fax/email whatever copies of both invoices but he told me it was too late (less than a week since work was done) and that I was getting nothing back. So don't believe anything about their warranty - they don't stand over what they say or what they have on their invoices that the will do.
