    Did not call before arriving as we were told they would do 30 min before; Arrived in time slot stated 3:00pm -5:00pm
    One tech. Performed inspection of furnace while other set in van, come in a few seconds and back to van several times
    After service complete and Tech's left, found air conditioner running and had to figure out why schedule would not resume, found tech's left thermostat in permanent hold with temp's set at their settings

    Unit was repaired by After Hours several times before. After it stopped working for the third time, After Hours charged $190 to test and then recommended replacement. Replacement estimate by After Hours for an off brand unit and less work was over $1000 more than several other companies.

    Early Sunday morning our furnace's draft inducer quit working.  The next day was Martin Luther King, Jr. day so I knew most places would be closed.  The temperature was dipping into the single digits that night and I was really worried about all the problems looming ahead.  We called our usual service provider, who also installed the new system 3 years ago, and had been our HVAC company for almost 30 years.  I had to call the emergency number twice, one hour apart, before I received a call back.  The technician was not optimist about having the part and didn't know if I could get it until Tuesday, but he could come out for $140 to check, but it would be at least 2 more hours.  My husband checked on-line and saw John Waters had gotten an Angie's list award, so I called.  My call was immediately answered (approximately 10 AM) and he thought he thought someone could be at my home by 11, and the emergency charge would be $169. He arrived at 10:45 and checked the furnace.  He thought they had the part, but being a Sunday, it would be an extra charge to open the warehouse. I agreed and he said it would be 45-60 minutes before his return.  He was back by 11:30, installed the part (which thankfully was still under warranty) and was gone by 12:15.  Start to finish
    1 1/2 hours.  With the weekend call, warehouse opening, and labor, the final bill was $388.  The technician was curteous and even put booties on before entering the house.  I would highly recommend the John Waters Company to anyone based on this experience.

    AC was not working properly and it kept freezing up. The Contractor came out to our house and took the system apart to try and find the issue. Eventually it was discovered that the A coil had a leak. The A coil was replaced that same night and the next day our system was up and running. Was very punctual and professional. I priced checked their costs vs other companies and found them to have the best deal by far. Would highly recommend them.

    I rated One Choice Mechanical all As except punctuality and I hesitated on that one.  The scheduled repairman was running late due to other calls and Lucas picked up the call for him.  Unfortunately, he got in a traffic jam on a 2-lane road on his way to my house during rush-hour.  Rush-hour can be brutal in that area, but he called to let me know he was stuck in traffic and gave me updates.  In the end I was very satisfied that Lucas did not just try to push me off to another day but continued to make the service call.  He arrived and was very professional, thorough and didn't rush.  Then Steve's work was just as thorough and well done later in the week (he was punctual).  That told me what type of company Lucas Parker runs and I've found a very solid company to do my HVAC work!  Thank you.

    My air conditioner broke on one of the hottest days we had this summer.  I had cancer surgery in August and part of the lung was taken.  Very hard to breath.  Mike came out to see me and  give me an estimate he asked pertinent questions about the furance and air conditioning  they were between 30 and 35 years old.  He also checked the size of the windows and I told him they were about 5 years old. He also checked the square feet on the home and asked about insulation in the attic.
     Explained to Mike I was having a hard time breathing during the day it was getting fairly hot in the house, the air conditioning had quit the day before.  Mike was at the house by 9:30 that AM. by 10:30AM  I had signed the papers.  Kevin the installer was at the house by 1 or 2 and was installing the furance and air conditioning. I had air conditioning that evening and I could breath.
    The gentlemen I talked to Mike, and Kevin also Kenny back at the warehouse (Kenny got all the equipment together for the job)   I was very impressed by the professionalism and the kindness they held for me as a customer I have all ready recommended them to some of my friends and will continue to do so. 
    I had some dealings with some roofing contractors last year over the hail storm what a crude mess of men to take your money and still not get it right.
    I can't say I made their pay for that day I did not overly pay and I received Gold Star service.  I had checked on furances and air condiitioning before and I was in line with the cost, plus it is a Bryant. 
    As an after thought, I had called two other companies that AM both were suppose to open at 8.  At 9:15 the answering service was still on one and the other had only office staff in and he finally shouted over the phone he would try to get out between 1 and 4.
    What a pleasure it was to work with this company.  Can not give them enough praise.

    They stand behing their stuff. I am having problems with it, they were out today. I have a leak, so they are getting me a new coil. Everytime I have called them, they have come out. When he came out, he was very informative about what I would need.

    I called and asked about a summer tune-up and my A/C freezing up.  The very nice girl scheduled an appointment for the next day and told me about the "Silver Membership" for $11.95 per month.  With everything it includes, it is a bargain compared to a different company I used in the past.  The technician arrived on time and cleaned out the coil and performed a summer tune-up for me.  The quality of work was amazing and my unit is working better than it ever has!!  I signed up for the Silver membership and will ALWAYS use them for my heating and cooling needs!

    We called the HVAC company about our A/C not working, they could work us in for "same day service". The service guy came out to our house, found the outside unit dirty, he cleaned it, found it low on freon, and fixed it! He was very nice, very clean, and very respectful. We will definitely use this company again and refer them to family and friends.

    They were really good. As far as talking to them on the phone with the initial contact they were very courteous and professional. They called me back. One of them came out and did a on-site examination and he was also courteous and accommodating as far as scheduling was concerned. They gave me different recommendations as far as various options and gave me the pros and cons of each. I will this provider in the future.
