I didn't have any trouble getting appointments, the only thing I didn't like was having to pay upfront, but the amounts were correct after it was filed with my insurance.

    Wellons, Dr. Pat B.
We just like her. She has been very nice and helpful who looks at my daughter. She is very personable and really helps to solve various issues and stuff like that. It really worked really well with my daughter as she really liked her. The office environment is very nice and is excellent. I think she is punctual. The bedside manner was excellent and she communicated very well. Our insurance covered the bill so we had no problems.

    Wellons, Dr. Pat B.
Dr. Wellon covered a lot of ground with us in a very short period of time. She really helped us to uncover and pinpoint issues, and came up with a game plan right off the bat. She wanted to see us back right away so we could keep up our work and keep moving. She made us feel very comfortable opening up, and asked questions, but also really listened. We were very happy with our first session with her and are very much looking forward to working with her through our issues.

    Wright, Dr. Mark S.
He is very good at looking at you as a whole person. He can tell if your anxious and other things. He doesn't just prescribe medication. I have referred people to him. He is the best psychiatrist I've ever had. I wouldn't go anywhere else. My insurance doesn't cover him, and I go anyway. I trust him and like him.

Beaumont Behavioral has excellent therapists, caring people who are good at what they do. That isn't the problem I have with them. Most mental health professionals prefer to establish and maintain a relationship with their patients. Unfortunately, their management doesn't see things that way. After going to see a therapist there for the better part of a year, the management decided that the customers could no longer schedule appointments out further than three trips. This absolutely destroys any hope of maintaining a reasonable schedule with a therapist unless you have nothing else going on in your life. If you have a small thing interfering with your appointment scheduling - like having a job, so you can pay for the visits - you will be lucky to get an appointment every OTHER week. You can forget keeping a time slot like most therapists will set up - they will just look at you funny. The beancounting management treats therapy appointments like a **** treats a *****'s schedule - they want the therapist's chairs (beds) full, and they don't care who is in them. Until they reconnect with the business of therapy, they have lost my business.

I live about an hour away from the office and I called two hours before my appointment today checking to see if there were any later appointments since it was possible I would be slightly late due to flooding and road closures in the area due to recent storms. There were not any other appointments, so I did everything I could to leave as soon as possible instead of my normal time in order to compensate for possible delays. The staff member I spoke to was nice and suggested that I call closer to my appointment time if I was going to be late in order to allow for someone else to squeeze into my spot and then I could take their appointment time. Upon leaving for my appointment, I ran into construction on the interstate and immediately called to say that I would be between 5-10 minutes late as I had been advised to do. This phone call was answered by an extremely rude staff member who stated that no one would have told me such a thing and then transferred me to someone else who was also extremely rude. This second staff member informed me that if I would not be seen if I was more than 5 minutes late. This came as a surprise since I have been a patient for 8 months and this was the first anyone had ever stated this. After a futile conversation with this person, I proceeded in an attempt to make the appointment and walked in the office doors precisely 5 minutes late. One staffer was on the phone and the other was checking in another patient. It was 3 minutes later before I was helped and I was then informed that I would NOT be seen! I understand that their time is valuable as a physician, but so is mine as a patient and the drive to and from the office is close to two hours for me. Additionally, the same rude staff member that I spoke with on the phone was the same one that I had provided my updated insurance information to prior to my last visit. She, however, failed to process the information which resulted in unfounded charges and more frustration in trying to sort it out. I was not able to obtain refills for my medications and was told it would be the 2nd week of May before I could be seen. Please keep in mind, this ordeal was because of unpreventable circumstances that resulted in being FIVE minutes late. Unfortunately, these two instances are not the only negative experiences that I have had during my time as a patient. I have requested my records and have scheduled a new patient appointment with a different office.

I have gone to this practice for awhile. Several months ago I was having trouble getting my medication refilled. I kept getting the run around from the staff. I kept getting transferred to person to person. This went on for weeks. Also they did some blood work and I called to get results. I was told I needed to come in- pay for a dr visit- to get my results. I pay out of pocket so that wasn’t a option for me. I was told that this test was covered under my insurance. It was not covered. I was told that the person I was seeing at this practice left the practice which wasn’t true. After this happen I wrote a review on Yelp. I was dismissed from this practice. This practice is very unprofessional and they do not care about their patients. Also my mom had a appointment that she was running late for. She called to let them know and Danielle told her that she would wait. Once my mom got there she was already gone. The next day she was dismissed from the practice. I would advised to go elsewhere!!!
