    Aveda Fredric's Institute
Every time I have gone the staff has been attentive, courteous and knowledgeable. An educator is always present and assist the student with each step in the process, as well as, checking the students work and making sure the guest is satisfied. I have always been happy with the results! Well worth the time and money! Because this is an education facility expect to be at the salon longer than normal, but trust me, it's worth the extra time!

They are big around here. It was fantastic. I went because they had a deal on Mother's Day, so I could save money on treatment. The treatment itself was $75, and they were selling $75 gift cards for $60. I didn't really deal with any billing. My only concern is that they are pricey, but I would use them again with the special, or if it was a gift. They are the best for quality.

    The Wood House Day Spa
She told me her experiences were great. I have given them as gifts and the people that use the gifts always reported a good experience.

    Square One Salon
They're very friendly and very clean. I didn't have any problems afterwards. It's just not something that I use regularly. I saw whoever was available.

    Mantra Massage & BodywoRx
I scheduled a same-day massage using Mantra's online scheduling system. Their hours were very convenient for me. I was pleased to find out they offered myofascial release. When I arrived, the massage therapist I had booked an appointment with was not there, so the owner did my massage herself. She was professional and courteous and did a good job of letting me know what to expect. I was initially sore for a couple of days, which I expected, but after that, my neck/shoulder pain was gone. It's been almost a month and I'm still feeling good. Their prices are reasonable given the quality of the service provided. I would definitely use Mantra for massage therapy in the future. I have gotten massages at other places before, and this one has been the most beneficial of any massage I have had.

    Nancy L. Kranpitz, LMT
Her service is very good. I get appointments six months in advance. She gives me a monthly appointment for six consecutive months, so I think if somebody called and wanted one like that day they probably couldn't get one. She works out of her home. The communication with her patients is very good. They are effective.

    Sableux Salon & Spa
I hadn't had a facial in a year, after having had them every 2-3 months for a number of years prior. So I knew there would be a lot to address. Angela was very communicative, explained everything that she saw and did, and recommended things I could do to improve my skin. She used a line of products that worked beautifully on my sensitive skin, and she gave me literature on the products at my request, without doing any kind of hard sell. I will be going back to her again!

    Elizabeth Murphy, LMT
I have lived in three cities during my adult life and finding a massage therapist is really difficult. I consider it like dating. It's hard to find the perfect match. Beth is awesome at what she does. She knows her stuff and is an excellent practitioner. I won't consider anyone else in Austin, since I was lucky enough to find her first.

    Parlour On The Avenue
They had one of those promotions, like buy one salt scrub and get one on half price. I got it from my sister as a belated birthday present. It is not too far from my work, but it is not a regular place we would go to just because it is not convenient. But it was really, really nice. It was actually an old clothing store in the old town, and it has been remodeled. They have just done a gorgeous job with it, and the old plank floors and everything. The part of the salon for haircuts is downstairs. They have redone all the plumbing upstairs, and they have steam rooms. With the salt scrub, we go on the table and they even have the Vichy shower where we can just lay on the table and they pull the whole thing over us, and all eight shower heads come on and wash the salt off. They do facials and pedicures. They even have a little shop out front. They bring us cookies and something to drink while we are getting the hair cut, it is really nice. It was a nice day of being pampered. We were there under a special type thing. If I remember correctly, the regular price for the salt scrubs would have been $60 plus tip. I think our haircuts were maybe $68. So it was maybe about $120-$130 for each of us. We would use them again in the future.
