Pediatric Care reviews in London

I love that place. They are great. The doctors are really nice. If we have an emergency, I can call in and they manage to see my kids on the same day that I call, which I appreciate. The doctors are very professional. They have 3 or 4 doctors there. We've had 3 or 4 visits there.

My child has been a patient at East Louisville Pediatrics for 10 years and I won't dream of taking him to any other pediatrician. He has been treated by several of the doctors there and I highly recommend all of them. I can not say enough great things about the doctors and staff at this office, both the Westport Road office and the Crestwood office.

The only thing that the doctors there seemed to be concerned about was my sons weight. He is about 1/2 foot taller than the average kid his age and weighs about 10-15 pounds more than the average kid his age. They where always determined to prove he was unhealthy and that there was something wrong with him. I took him in for cough and congestion and they wanted him to see a nutritionist and go on a diet him only 2 years old. They wouldnt listen to me or didnt care why I was bringing him in, He was to big for their liking and that is what they fixated on. Horrible Service , I switched his provider to another pediatric provider and they have been excellent. I would NOT recommend London Peds To Anyone.

Everyone who works here is wonderful. We used to see Dr. Winner, but now there is another doctor on staff also but I can't remember her name. She does great job with the kids too. The medical assistants who take their vitals are very nice. If my child is having a hard day there is no problem with them sitting on my lap while the vitals are taken. My son has behavioral issues, but the staff is nothing but patient.
The only draw back to going here is the cramped waiting room.

The first visit was the roughest one. The waiting room floor seemed dirty, and the the chairs were pretty worn. I think that they are renovating, because the floor and chairs were much improved at the last visit. The staff is friendly. We waited about 15 minutes before getting called back and another 10-15 minutes before seeing the doctor. It is easy to get an appointment. The last time my 2-year old was sick, I called in the early afternoon and was able to get in the same day. I feel that the doctors I have seen for sick visits could listen to my concerns a bit more. I felt a little rushed to explain his symptoms. My husband took our son to the well-child appointment, and felt that went very well. He saw Dr. Sturgeon for that appointment. We really loved our pediatrician in Indianapolis. So, this office has a lot to live up to. Overall, I would say that it's fine. Not spectacular.

Got an appointment for that day. We waited in the sick child waiting area for 30-45 mins. Once in the room the doctor was very thorough and helpful. Staff were friendly and no problems with care or treatment.

Visits to Dr. Williams at the Lexington Clinic Richmond are usually very easy.  There is a large waiting room, and he has an exotic fish tank that keeps the kids occupied.  Typically time tn the waiting room is minimal.  The offices are decorated in a fun tropical fish theme that the kids like, which helps them to be more comfortable at the doctor.  The office and nursing staffs are professional and efficient.  Once in an exam room, you don't wait long to see Dr. Williams.  Dr. Williams is friendly, funny, and personable.  He always listens to the parents' concerns, talks to the child, and performs a thorough exam.  We have found that Dr. Williams is willing to look for the not-so-obvious problem, and is often able to diagnose things other physicians have missed.  I trust him absolutely with the care of my son.  He is a one-of-a-kind pediatrician and I am incredibly grateful to him for always taking such good care of my child.

I came to write this review because I feel lucky to have found the best doctors in Louisville for my children - and I know other parents who feel the same way. EVERYONE in the practice is great, and the office staff are wonderful. My children each have forms of ADD or ADHD and after years of seeing other doctors (psychologists, psychiatrists etc etc etc) not one every explained the options and medications more clearly than the doctors here (my favorites are Dr Daly and Dr. Becker). They will also suggest other therapies to help kids (like brain training type services, occupational therapy, nutrition etc).
Never any problems with billing, insurance, etc. Very very easy and wonderful group.
OK sometimes (only sometimes) you are in the waiting room awhile. They ARE popular I think. I try to get the first appointment in the morning, or first after lunch.

I just turned a sports physical form into them.  They filled it out and mailed it back to me within 48 hours.  The office is clean and they have prompt service; you don’t have to wait a long time to be seen.   They’ve been really good about the billing and administration. The thing I like about them is that they have a sick entrance and a well entrance. I don’t know if that is common.  If you are well, you don’t have to sit in the waiting room with sick people.  I think that is a good thing.

We always make early morning appointments to decrease the wait time. We didn't have to wait long to be called back. The nurse worked very well with my daughter getting her vitals. This was the first visit where she needed an eye exam. She didn't want to cooperate at first but the nurse eventually figured out how to get my daughter to pay attention never losing her patience. We didn't have to wait long in the exam room for the doctor. Dr. Winner examined my daughter and then went over where she should be developmentally. We also discussed some concerns with a time frame to watch for improvements.
My only small complaint is the small waiting room. You get a couple of families in there and you're elbow to elbow.
