    Dr. McNulty and all of the staff were great. Everyone was extremely friendly, and Dr. McNulty was great at explaining things and talking through the process. One of the things I liked best was that he didn't just tell me what he was prescribing, etc. He actually took time to explain why he wanted to make the changes he did and what I should expect.

    I have purchased glasses from St Matthews Vision previously and have been happy with their service. I had a new prescription already, so only needed the glasses. They knew from my previous visits that I am h****** glasses-taking them on and off frequently, thus having to go in for adjustments. John recommended several pairs that might work better for me-ones more flexible and durable. I selected one and ordered them. I had just gotten my new vision insurance, so there was a small problem with the insurance company, but St Matthews Vision was able to work through it easily. It only took about 3 days to get my new glasses which I am very happy with. They are a bit pricey but I like dealing with a local company and the people there who have been in this business a very long time, so I am willing to pay a bit more. I would highly recommend them to others.

    I had a great experience!  From Sally at the front desk, to Laurie who ran all of my initial tests and got me prepped, to Dr. McNulty who conducted my exam....it all went really smoothly.  They were very friendly, but professional.  You can tell that it is a well-managed office and that they know what they're doing.  I couldn't ask for anything more.  Also, one of my pet peeves to sit around and wait when I have an appointment and they took me right in and I never waited around, which is a big plus in my book because I hate wasting time.

    We loved the staff! I have a six year old that was having trouble with his eyes, always blinking and holding his books real close to his face. They all made a game out of his visit, but in a professional way so he would feel comfortable and not afraid of the equipment. Great Job. He loves his glasses!

    It took forever for a doctor to see me.  The Dr. herself was wonderful, it was after that, that it all went downhill.  They were having a sale on glasses.  I can't remember the price, but as it turned out, that price was no place near what it would end up costing me for the eyeglasses.  Once I received the glasses and put them on, I had to keep asking for the same adjustment to be made over and over again with the technician who gave me the glasses.  I became frustrated and left without the glasses being properly adjusted, after 15 minutes. The technician offered to help me pick out a different frame, and they'd be happy to remake the glasses for me, but I would have to pay for the new lenses - which is the lion's share of the cost.
    Once I began wearing the glasses, they were giving me headaches, and I have not returned to the office, nor have I worn the $200 and something dollar glasses that were purchased.

    We go to the SpringHurst location.  Even when you arrive at opening of business, it takes a very long time to get through their process.  There is a wait for their lengthy check-in while they pull up your information (and that's if there's no one in front of you, or it's worse).   There is a wait to be called back (even if no one else is there).  You go through the initial evaluation with a technician, then you go BACK to the waiting room to wait to see the doctor.  Then after your exam with the doctor, they send you to their contact lens counter while you wait to be served there.  Then they likely don't have your prescription to give you for trials, so you have to take ones that are "close".  Then you have to go back to the waiting room again, to be called back to see the doctor to check your eyes with the contacts in (because you're put back in the waiting pool).  Then after that looks okay, you have to go back to contact lens counter while you wait again to be serviced by someone who orders your contact lenses.  Then they escort up to another area to wait to pay.  REDICULOUS!  (And that's IF you don't have to go through this all again because they want to check your eyes again a week later.)  The doctors are hit or miss.  Very few have gotten our family members' contact lenses prescriptions correct the first try.  Many times it has taken 2, 3, or 4 times before they get it right!  Also, it's obvious they try to put people in contacts that they make the most money on.  They push their highest profit margin lenses on you even when you repeatedly tell them they irritate your eyes.  A couple of their doctors seem to know what they're doing (Dr Tabasi mostly), but most get things consistently wrong and you keep having to go back over and over again - and don't forget all the waiting you have to do for each stage every single time you go in there.  And don't even get me going about how they refuse reorder prescriptions from outside contact lens providers before your prescription has expired!!!

    I highly recommend Dr. Croley. She is very thorough with the eye exam she performs. Because of my own and my family history of vision problems, she makes sure to perform all of the necessary tests and explains the purpose behind each test. She even sat down with me and reviewed the photographs of my eyes to explain what she was seeing that led her to be concerned.

    My experience has been marvelous. I couldn't have gone to any better institution. It was really, really good. Unfortunately the dry eye persists because I have rheumatoid and it is nothing that the doctor did. I am a diabetic as well so they keep an eye on me. I see two doctors there and between the two of them, they do a fantastic job. They are concerned about the patient and they always follow up. They give me information on what they can do and what is best for me. They don't push me into anything and they allow me, as a patient, to give my own input. They don't badger me and they give me alternatives. They are really nice. They make me feel comfortable and there is no pressure. I go there all the time and I will absolutely continue seeing them.

    The staff is friendly and welcoming. I have been in the office several times and have always been greeted quickly. On our most recent visit, two members of the staff had some childish, negative interactions with each other while working with me. This was a brief incident, and my other interactions with them have been fine.
    Dr. Weinberg is friendly and easy to communicate with. He listens well for the most part but sometimes seems too quick to move on to the next question. I felt that our exams were thorough, and he listened to our wishes.

    Our visits to Professionals in Eye Care are always great. For this last visit, to fix my child's glasses, we just walked in and they fixed them right away, with no waiting. That is typical of our visits there. I have seldom waited long in the waiting room, as the staff is very efficient and tries hard to get you in and out of the office quickly. Dr. Ball is very thorough; I have seen MANY eye doctors over the years and I am always impressed with the level of her exams and her willingness to explain everything to her patients. Because of her skill and the atmosphere of the office, I would recommend Professionals in Eye Care to everyone, especially families with children.
