Marble & Granite reviews in London

Roy was THE ONLY vendor on Angie's list to give me a quote by email last Spring when I was shopping.  Everyone else needed to 'send someone out' or have me come in.  Very convenient.  I was looking for marble and my brother had a white granite.  One of the other A listers on AL said that didn't exist at all which I knew was not true.  Roy and his team showed me dozens of options for white granite.  In the end we chose a manufactured marble stone.  More expensive but no issue with staining and it is the exact look of marble.  Amazingly beautiful!!
When it came time to make the purchase this Fall, Roy stood by his quote.  We came to his showroom, picked out the stone, sinks, faucets, tile and we were off.  His installers were very professional.  They got in, got out on time with no mess.  I can't say enough good things about Roy and the team.  I plan on working with them again on our bathroom projects.  Make sure you include him

They're really good. The vice president, Roy, is someone you can really count on. He thinks and anticipate everything. If he thinks something isn't quite right, he will fix it whether you asked for it or not. Their an A++ company. They have good products and they're a really good help. The guy that we saw there is just so easy to work with on top of everything.  He's so precise, so helpful, and pleasant. He knows his products inside and out, his scheduling is perfect, he has really good cabinet installers, and he makes good suggestions. When we were on the last run, he had remembered to put a little bit of trim to match the front of the cabinet. Then he realized that he hadn't done it on the other cabinet so he just put in on because he said it didn't look right to not have that and they didn't charge us for it. That's the only mistake he's ever made. What he does is so complex, he knows every little part that goes in and he thinks of everything and he's totally on the ball with scheduling. I would use him again if I have to. He's very professional, very efficient, patient and knows what he's doing inside and out. He'd show you the best way to get the most for your money and he had a big part in helping me figure things out. They were well priced and they have a big variety of stuff to choose from. It's one of the best companies I've ever had to deal with.

This is a young guy but he really takes pride in his work.  The finished product is fantastic.   I'm a bit of a perfectionist when I'm doing something myself and still it was difficult to find fault with anything he did, especially the tile work.     We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted and how we wanted to lay it out and that was a good match in this case.  Nick is pretty quiet and relatively reserved.   He offered helpful suggestions along the way and pretty much just did what we asked and did it well.
If forced to nit pick it would be the job took a little longer than we hoped.   About 7 weeks but the bad weather didn't help.    Cabinets and granite delayed completion and then near the end we encounted a problem with a special order Delta tub faucet that leaked.   (This was not the remodeler's fault!)     Delta tried to address the issue by suggesting and sending replacement parts (about a week delay with each request).   It ended up being a defective faucet housing so they finally sent a replacement faucet.     This was aggravating enough that I may never purchase Delta again.   Their lifetime warranty sounds good until you consider the potential cost you could incur to remove and re-install a faulty product.
In summary, this contractor did an outstanding job on a challenging project.   It was all worth the wait.

My had him come out and give us an estimate of $400. We set it up for 2 weeks after that. He never came. After we called 9 times, we were finally called back. After the time lapse he reduced the price down $50. He may have had some personal issues and we were not mad at him and understood when he didn't want to talk about it.

He did an excellent job with the floors. I think that he would have showed up on time he would have gotten an A.

Remodelling our master bath. We essentially had to become our own Generall Contractors after our prior contractor quit. Dale and team were hired after talking with other local contractors in the area who recommended his work. Dale and team did everything they promised. During the estimate, he said they could get the majority of work done in 3 days and leave 1 installer to finish up the detail and grout work. After the nightmare with the prior contractor, I was a little skeptical but Dale got the work done on time and on budget AND it was quality work. A little "pricey" but the old adage "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here.
We'll use Dale Combs and co. on any future tile jobs and recommend his work to any who need tile work done.
The bathroom looks great (will send in some pics if I can figure out how.)

Overall experience with Irv and Counter Culture Plus was great. I'd recommend them anyone who needs any type of counter tops, tile or flooring. I know they also install all of their products and would have used their contractors or recommended contractors but unfortunately, we live 60+ miles from their location so travel costs would have been too expensive.
We could have went with a less costly alternative but as the saying goes; you get what you pay for. In the case of Counter Culture Plus, you can rest easy that you WILL get what you pay for and be happy with their quality and professionalism.

This company did a great job. Had all work completed in about 10 days. That is from getting estimate and finishing installation. I wanted to get it done as soon as possible and they met my expectations over and above. I dealt mainly with Amanda Barich. Went to their store and picked out the actual slab I wanted to use and help put the template pieces on it.  They gave me the name of a man Gary Deihl to use for the tear out of the existing counters and tub. He installed a new whirlpool tub for me, did all the plumbing work and was so helpful at the site. He also made sure that everything was done and he was so helpful with all aspects of the job. They did such a professional job I would definitely use them again and would tell anyone what good work they do. They cleaned up very well when all the work was done and even put tarps down from front door to bathroom to protect my floors. Thanks for such good service and a quality product.

I was very happy with them. I went to them and they had a huge selection of granite that I could pick out. They were a little bit cheaper than another company and they also furnished double sinks which came with the price. They did sell the one I had initially picked out by mistake but they gave me my choice of any other one and reduced the price a little bit, so they worked with me.

I called Designs in Stone on a referral from a friend. Mary came out to measure and give us an estimate. Her suggestions to change up our kitchen island were great. She also met with us to select our granite slab. The installation crew did a grreat job and cleaned up everything. Todd did an especially great job cutting down our existing island to remove the original raised bar. When I called to address two very minor issues, they were extremely responsive. Everything was taken care of in a day or two. Everyone was courteous, professional, on time and concerned about having a happy customer! I just my new countertops!! I would use them again, for sure!

I went to get a quote. They were much less than all the competition. They seemed to do everthing right. They had a large inventory, three locations, and it seemed like they knew what they were doing. Then I received my countertop in a fast turn around time.
