    STEPHENSONS NURSERY AND GARDEN CENTER
It went well. The first set of three trees (Leyland Cypress) unfortunately died due to weather conditions and adaptability to the soil conditions. Mark suggested a different, hardier type of tree and replaced the original dead trees with the new type (River Birch). Free of charge per his initial guarantee. Birch trees seem to be doing fine

24M Lawn & Landscape Services LLC
Steve's crew did a wonderful job cleaning up my shrub beds and around all of my trees. The crew then laid down a nice 2" thick bed of natural brown mulch that is high quality and looks great with my home. His crew were quick, polite and efficient in getting everything done in about 3 to 3.5 hours.

I have several bushes and small trees that needed trimming. I had used 24M several years ago for some mulch work, and I called them for this job to get an estimate. Steve was professional and courteous when I called. He visited my property, walked through every area to confirm exactly what I wanted done, and provided a professional estimate that captured everything accurately. He also advised me on what should be done. The estimate was very reasonable and fair. It so happened that he was able to perform the work sooner than anticipated. His crew did an excellent job trimming the bushes and hauling away debris. Steve kept me posted and sent me pictures of their work to make sure I was happy with what they did. I could not be happier. Steve is honest and has a great crew. Don't look elsewhere.

Steve and his team were outstanding. My husband spoke to Steve on a Tuesday requesting an estimate for our landscaping cleanup and new mulch laid. He went over to our home and took measurements and notes, and offered recommendations. We received an itemized quote that day via email, which we accepted. Steve and two of his workers were out the next day! They arrived around 2:30 in the afternoon and worked non-stop until past 8pm - even through a quick rainstorm. We are beyond pleased with the results of their hard work, and their dedication to perfection. We will be using Steve and his team for our future lawn and landscaping needs, and I will gladly recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

The crew, with team leader, "Terrance," was just outstanding. Courteous, responsive and just plain nice, all three guys. Let me tell you about Aaron; my yard had not been cut this season - I had one of your recommended mowing and landscaping company promise me they would come (I hired the fellow the last of Feb.), but despite promises he was coming, he never showed up. Aaron got his crew to come by TODAY and they did an outstanding job. He and they went out of their way to help me. The grass was tall, but they left it looking great. I'd highly recommend these folks - theyu know the meaning of "customer service."

    Jon's Lawn Care
Jon and his assistant performed all the requested work just as promised. All of the work was quickly and the result looked wonderful. They even did additional things that I didn't ask for. I was very impressed and will ask this company to my home again.

I purchased the service in Feb. I called several times & didn't hear from them. Finally their girl called me back, set an appt .for a look-see/ We were told that the work in the front would be $90 & they could get a broken branch from above the garage. We set up an appt. & waited all day. Nothing. I called again. The girl said the "tree man" was in AZ. She set up another appt. They did show up this time. Did the front work in no time. We went around to the garage & looked @ the branch. He said he'd need more $ although they'd worked for less than a half hour. He said it was dangerous so I gave him more $. In conclusion, they lopped off the trees in front with no shaping. On the driveway, they didn't even have to clean up or haul off the branches (my grandson wanted to do that). & finally I gave the guy two tires he said would fit his trailer. I don't think that they did $350. worth of work.

    Jon's Lawn Care
I really wish I could say I had a positive experience, but unfortunately that was just not the case. My husband purchased the coupon of $239 for 8 hours of lawn service on 3/24. It took them a little bit to get back to us after the initial purchase, but due to the coupon probably driving up their business and weather, we werent overly bothered by the wait time. Eventually, Jon called my husband and arranged a time to come out and look at what needed to be done on April 2nd. In his words we can get a lot accomplished in 8 hours. We moved into our new home a year ago, and had done general, but not thorough maintenance of the property. We have a fenced in back yard which is locked due to a history of a neighborhood kid trying to let our dogs out, so we told Jon to let us know when theyd be arriving so we could unlock the gate for them. In order, we asked that they: 1. Clean up the leaves and branches that had fallen on our property over the winter and dispose of the debris. 2. Pull up the weeded over flowerbeds in the backyard. I specifically mentioned wanting it pulled up because the flowers were poisonous to our dogs and we wanted to extend grass over the area instead. 3. Trim the hedges/bushes. 4. Put down fresh mulch around the bushes and trees (we would pay extra for the mulch) 5. If there was time left over, mow the lawns (both ours and the lawn next door since we own both properties.) Jon told us theyd be out before Friday (The 7th), depending on weather. Again, we werent too bothered with the wait as it seemed to be storming every other day. We also got a quote on having them come out to do regular lawn work for us throughout the summer. Finally, the following Saturday (April 8th), we received a call from Jon saying they were heading our way. My husband and I said the timing didnt work, as we were on the road, heading out of town for the day for an event and wouldnt be able to let them into our backyard. Jon said that since our fence was low, they could just lift the machinery over the fence, if we were ok with that. My husband agreed and gave them the go ahead to do the work without us present. A little over 3 hours later, my friends messaged me to say they were at our house to let the dogs out to go potty. I asked if the yard workers were still there, and was told no, but there was an invoice for mulch on our front door. I asked if it looked ok, and my friends kind of hemmed and hawed and eventually said well. It looks like they put mulch down? I decided to reserve judgement until I saw it myself. On Sunday morning I went out and inspected the property. 1. Instead of picking up the branches and leaves, they had mowed over them, leaving shredded debris all over the lawn. I spent an hour and a half raking up the debris into bags. It would have been easier to do it before it had been shredded and spewed in smaller pieces all over. 2. Only one flower bed (the one closest to the street) had been pulled up. The other was completely untouched. In fact, it appeared as if they hadnt even pulled up the plants, but rather just mowed them down, then tilled and spread straw over, because literally less than a week later the poisonous to my dogs flowers were sprouted again. 3. The bushes were trimmed, but uneven. One bush even had what I can call an Alfalfa (from the little rascals) twig jutting obviously out of the very middle/top of the bush. On a positive note, the mulch looked fine. But I spent most of my Sunday cleaning up after their work, and pulling up the other flower bed. I called Jon up to verify if he wanted the invoice for mulch paid via check or credit card, but informed him I was unhappy with the quality of the work and we would not be hiring them again. He asked me what was wrong, and I explained as I had detailed above. He asked if I wanted them to come back out. I explained I had already tackled the issues, and that when it comes to quality, either they stood by the work that they did (in which case we have drastically differing ideas on what is acceptable) or they didnt stand by their job, in which case, why did they do it that way to begin with? Furthermore, I understand that 8 hours is one person for 8 hours or 2 people for 4, but my friends showed up less than 4 hours after our phone call with Jon saying he wanted to head over, and they were already long gone if they had done all the work needing to done with an eye for detail and quality in a shorter time I would have no problem, but we instead felt we were given and left with a rushed job. Jon apologized and comped us the cost of the mulch because we were unhappy. I appreciated that, but also reiterated I was willing to pay for the mulch as we were happy with that aspect of the work. He refused since we were unhappy with everything else. Giving the benefit of the doubt, perhaps due to the rash of heavy weather, they were very behind schedule and trying to knock out as many lawns as possible to catch up. I just felt like the service wasnt worth the amount we paid for it, and it wasnt something wed be returning to in the future.

    Jon's Lawn Care
He did an amazing job, I couldn't be happier with the work he did, his professionalism and his fair pricing. This is the first time I've used Jon's lawn care service. I purchased a discounted deal through Angie's List not knowing anything about his service but hoping he'd be good and get the work done within the allotted amount of time. It took a bit more time the next day which was understandable considering the amount of work that had to be done. I'm really glad I took advantage of the Angie's List coupon because it introduced me to Jon and his business and I'll definitely be calling him again soon. If you need someone that shows up on time, works hard, has a great attitude and loves their work, give Jon a try, you'll be glad you did.
