    Straight Line Painting LLC
I cannot say enough good things about Augusto & Straight Line Painting. He was the first to give me a quote and his price was one of the lower quotes we had. He is very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Communication was fast and painless. After meeting several contractors, my preference was hands-down his company. Once his team completed the job, he came and inspected their work. It wasn't up to his standard, so he fixed everything himself. I cannot say enough good things about this man, his company, and his work ethic. The paint, trim, and stain look fabulous. Even better than I expected. We will most definitely hire him again any time we need painting done. The best experience I've ever had with a contractor, and we've had many over the years.

    Perfect Circle Construction
Philip did an outstanding job building the steps we needed to access a newly purchased under deck swim spa. It was a project that was doing to have to meet not only structural but functional requirements, since I have mobility (back, hip) issues and was not sure until construction ensued how tall the landing would need to be so I could access the swim spa and yet not hit the overhead ceiling. He built a landing at one height and wanted me to try it out (accessing it via a step stool) before building the steps running up to the landing and was willing to make other adjustments as needed so that it was going to work for my wife and I. He listened to us, was responsive to our needs, and is a perfectionist so we felt confident that he was going to build it the right way and he did. It meets all our needs, the quality of the construction was superb, and it is beautiful. His pricing was reasonable considering the time and effort he spent on designing and building it. Even though he is often involved with much larger projects and oversees other subcontractors, he is a carpenter/ woodworker at heart and seemed to really enjoy working on it, which he did with the assistance of just one helper. We would hire him again without hesitation and highly recommend him to others!

    FixItAll Home Repair & Maintenance
FixItAll painted my kitchen cabinets. They did not do a professional job, and I am going to have to get them repainted. First of all, I was under the impression that my cabinets were getting sprayed after I had asked via e-mail before choosing them for the job. My cabinets ended up not getting sprayed, which I could have lived with if they looked good. When Tom decided not to spray my cabinets, I would have appreciated him communicating this to me. However, there are brush stroke marks all over the cabinet frame and bar area. There is visible white caulk lines, primer, and original wood color showing throughout the frame. Some of the doors have a blotchy looking finish. When Tom finished on the 2nd day, I expressed my disappointment in the paint job and had pointed out numerous areas with brush strokes and areas that were not smooth. Tom explained to me that in my "uncontrolled" environment that this was what I should expect essentially (He never expressed any concern to us at any point about the environment he was painting in). He agreed to come back the following day to do touch ups. I wanted to make sure my expectations were clear, so I put post it notes on areas that were concerning, took the doors back off, removed all of the appliances I could, and made a list of my expectations. He came back and did his "touch ups" but did not address all of the brush strokes and imperfections all over the cabinets. He also left his dirty finger prints all over the cabinets. He was gone when I got home, and I never received a phone call, text, or e-mail asking if I was satisfied with the cabinets. He sent me the invoice to pay that night without ever speaking with me about his work. He also got paint on my brick arches, wall and baseboard, and my siding outside. He never acknowledged the obvious damage, apologized, or offered to fix it (until I got a quote from another contractor to fix them). We expressed our continued displeasure via e-mail, and continued to be spoken to like we were being unreasonable. That I could not expect a factory finish in a non-factory setting. We did not expect factory, but we did expect it to look like a professional had done it. We tried negotiating the price with them, and expressed that we would happily pay for the materials for the job, but not the labor. The best that they would offer us was $1,000 off the job which means we paid them $1,250 for a terrible paint job. He did offer to come fix the damages, but our discount would be lessened greatly had he come out to do that. This company never admitted that this was anything less than a good paint job. I highly recommend that you find someone else to paint your cabinets. This project has turned into a nightmare. It sickens me that we had to pay this company for the terrible job that they did.

    Straight Line Painting LLC
They fixed multiple dry wall imperfections, worked with us on the best color/paint; even going to two different stores. Always cleaned up every evening. Augusto came back to make sure everything was done right. Highly recommended.

    Bear Paint Brush
Responded to request for quote very quickly. Over eager to get the job--now we know why. Doubt he has many customer--no repeat ones for sure. Price was significantly less than other quotes but as the saying goes - 'You get what you pay for'. In this case, we don't feel we even got that. Dry wall mud was smeared over areas that needed minor patching, NEVER sanded and then painted over. Roller marks on the ceiling and areas that were not painted in particular over the kitchen cabinets. Deep brush marks left in the trim. Many areas where paint was thin on the walls and old paint showing through. He sent two hired hands in to do the work and never showed his face on the job until it was supposedly 'Done'. He whined and complained that we 'weren't being fair' when the poor quality was specifically pointed out. The job performed was not worth the price he charged! Would NOT recommend and certainly would not hire again.

    Dunn Construction Inc
Son and Father Team. Thought they knew what they would do to correct my problem. Spent at least hour and a half discussing gutters and other problems they thought they could correct. We agreed on quote and a day to start project. I never heard back from them again. I left texts to no avail. Very disappointing company at best

    Anderson & Rodgers Construction
We did the powder room first and we liked them so much we had them do the full baths. Their estimate was detailed and accurate. Workerswere on time, very professional, and we did not hesitate to have them working in our home while we were not there. Their supervisor checked in frequently. We had no delays during the process and each remodel was finishd in the estimated time.

    FixItAll Home Repair & Maintenance
I requested an estimate from this company and received a reply within 24 hours. This was great in itself because of the other two companies I requested estimates from, one replied several days later and the other has yet to reply. I was told that Tom Gorbett, the owner, gives estimates on Wednesdays, and I was set up for an appointment the following Wednesday. Tom arrived promptly, was very professional, and listened to my concerns about the bathroom being my only one, so that if the work took longer than a day, I would need to have the toilet reseated for use overnight and removed again the next morning. He said that was certainly not a problem and he understood. said an estimate would be forthcoming by email and that if I accepted it, to call Kelly at the office and set up a date with her for the work to be done. I received the email a couple of days later and thought the price very reasonable, so called Kelly, who is also quite friendly, professional and accommodating. We set the date for the following week, and she explained that the workers would arrive between 8 and 9 AM on that day. She sent me an invoice for 10% of the estimate to be paid prior to work beginning. This was very easy as I could pay it on line using a credit card or a bank draft. John Traylor and an assistant arrived on the date agreed upon at 8:10 AM. They introduced themselves, I showed them the bathroom and we talked for a moment about what they would do, and they began work. John pulled up the toilet and then the linoleum, and called me in to look. It was worse than originally thought. The subflooring was totally wet and rotten. He had to use a crowbar to pull it up wet chunk by wet chunk. He noticed the damage also went under the cabinet and told me he would have to remove it and replace that wood also. He told me it would probably cost a little more because the work was going to be more extensive than originally thought. I told him I understood that totally. He called Tom and explained the situation to him. They had to leave to get additional supplies and were back in a short time, resuming work. By the time they left at around 4:30 PM, all the floor that needed replaced had been and the subflooring was firm and even. John replaced the toilet also. The next day, John arrived at 8:00 AM sharp, alone this time, removed the toilet and began laying the ceramic tile I had chosen. All tile cutting was done outside, which I was grateful for as it eliminated the dust and most of the noise, and it looked beautiful when he was done. He grouted it with a matching grout I also chose and the result was a beautiful and professional looking floor. He reattached the baseboard and supplied quarter round, which was perfectly cut to fit snugly against the baseboard at every point. I appreciate detail like that! He also had purchased a new threshold and chose a wood one that matched the tile and fit over the carpet on the opposite side very well, and custom cut it to fit perfectly in the doorway. He discovered the door needed to be shortened slightly to allow for the thicker tile, and did so smoothly and at a perfect height. During the removal of the cabinet, the vanity top had cracked, due to the person who had installed it years ago using Liquid Nails (YES! Liquid Nails!) to attach it to the cabinet AND to the wall, so of course it pulled off drywall too. THIS WAS BY NO MEANS JOHN'S FAULT, but FixItAll replaced the vanity top at no cost to me, and John repaired the drywall, which he also did expertly. This project that originally had been projected to take 1 day and possibly into another suddenly had taken 2 full days and since the size of vanity top required was hard to find, John had to pick it up and return on the third day to install it and hook up my faucet again. I was a little concerned about how much more this extra time and labor would cost me. When I received the invoice online, it was for only $200 extra! I couldn't believe it, and was so relieved. I now have a beautiful bathroom that is also sound and leakproof. I love it so much I am going to repaint now to make the walls look as good as the floor does! I am so happy to have found FixItAll and Tom Gorbett, and so extremely happy with the thoughtful, detail oriented work of John Traylor. John fixed my bathroom as if it were his own! Will I hire them again? YES, YES, YES! I am already working on a list of other projects I want an estimate on! Call FixItAll Home Repair and Maintenance. You will be glad you did!

    Trim Remodeling
They were great. Two nice men arrived punctually and got to work. The work was perfect. We had thought they would have time for tiling a bathroom but the day ran out. I expect the same good work for that.
