    JAG Roofing & Restoration Group
The work was excellent and the price was lower than other quotes we received. The owner was very responsive to emails and texts as the weather delayed the repair. We will use them again for any roofing needs!

    JAG Roofing & Restoration Group
JAG far outbid several other companies to do work on our chimney/roof. Josh was communicative, punctual, and very professional. I couldn't believe how fast he completed the work and really did an amazing job. I will definitely contact them again!

Bone Dry Roofing & Masonry - Lexington
At first I was told all this work would be done in two days back in July 2017. All this while my contact was Miles Owens. Here's a timeline of the work. 07/21/2017 - They did an acid wash and applied the sealant to the flashing. They left the replacement soffit board for me to paint and they would come and finish up all the work in a couple of days. After I came home I noticed that a few spots were missed in the cleaning. 08/01/2017 - Finished the cleaning and some of our outdoor plants also got damaged as a result of the acid. I was also told that some other crew would be coming to fix the soffit on that same day. But nobody showed up. Had to call them again. 08/14/2017 - The soffit piece is installed. 08/24/2017 - Water proofing is applied, and was also assured that it was applied above the roofline and not just the shoulders. Based on this I made the full payment as per their invoice probably in Sept 2017. 10/8/2017 - I shared some pictures where it appeared that the bricks above the roofline and soffit appear water soaked compared to the shoulders which were dry. And he promised to have this looked at. 10/21/2017 - Send Miles another email, since he didn't respond 10/31/2017 - Send a message on Angieslist to Sara with whom I had initially set up the appts and also made a payment to. But no response. Then some time in first week of November I visited their Office in person and talked to Jade (Office Manager). He looked at the paper work and said he will have Miles call back. I also tried to reach out to Miles directly and left him a voicemail but still no response. 11/15/2017 - I called their office in the morning and talked with Caroline and she promised to call me back in an hour, which she didn't. Then I called her back the next day 11/16 and she said either Miles or Jade will call me before end of the day. As of today still nothing (11/17). While initial communication was good, but trying to have issues fixed has been a pain so far. I hope they will finish the work they were paid to do. Unfortunately my experience with this company has been really bad.

    Barnhill Chimney Co
My home is about 10 years old and I have my chimney cleaned almost every year. This year Barnhill said I needed extensive repairs to the mortar in the chimney which would require relining the chimney at a cost of over $6000. I asked about installing gas logs instead of continuing to burn wood and they said it would be too dangerous to even have gas logs. I contacted another very experienced chimney sweet who came and inspected my chimney, and he said it was fine and didn't need relining.

    Barnhill Chimney Co
I highly recommend this company! They came when scheduled, did the work, showed me what was going on up there and were very friendly and professional throughout. They replaced 7 bricks, water proofed the whole thing and installed a new chimney cap. I will say this was different than another masonry company which strongly suggested I needed to replace my entire chimney. I very much appreciated working with them!

    Sooner Chimney & Air Ducts
Mr Jamison came in identified the problem, gave us a price. However, he also told my husband how to do it if we wanted to. He explained what to do and even gave looked over the fireplace to make sure it was good to use this winter. I highly recommend him. He is Honest and seems to know his trade well.

The professionalism and quality of work were of the highest order. All workmen were respectful and on time. Once they began the process they stayed on it in a timely way, communicating every step along the way in terms of the work to be done. They are expensive. If I could afford the cost I would hire them in a heartbeat to complete other renovations I need to have done. I cannot say enough good things about what a pleasure they were to work with. I can truly say they are a company of integrity who stands behind their word.

    Dad & Sons Renovations
I had some major work done on my historical home. Tried the yellow pages and there were two roofers. The second never showed up. Richard Roberts was on time and acted very professional. He mentioned that it would take about two weeks to do the whole job. He started ripping off the old roof and then just disappeared. The net result was that we had a heavy downpour and our kitchen was flooded as well as our bathroom. I tried for three weeks to get hold of him and he never showed up until one day he just appeared and continued on to do the repairs. He would turn up and then disappear. I found out from his crew that he had five jobs going on at the same time and that he was working seven days a week and not paying his crew. They were upset and would not show up for work. It ended up that the job took four months and that he would fast talk out of any problem. He mentioned that the bad reviews he had were from a picky customer and when we phoned his references they seemed to be happy. However, from our experience with his work I noticed that WHEN he was there the work was well done but when he left the workmanship had to be redone as the people he engaged had no idea what they were doing. He does not know how to manage his crew, his work and his word means nothing, He is unfortunately one of those born liars who does not know how to tell the truth. His work, when he is there, is well done. The big problem is when he wass there as that was very rare. At the end of the job I asked for a receipt and gave him photocopies of all the checks I had written with totals for 2016 an 2017 and he promised me I would have it within two days, It is now May and he finished the work in February! He even bought supplies for another client and dropped them off at my home to use for my job. I found out when the client came to my home and she complained that they were her supplies and the client threatened legal action against him and us! I find him totally unreliable, untrustworthy and to save you a big headache I can only say under no circumstance ever hire him. He will ruin your home and your life.

    Owens Chimney Systems
I believe I seriously overpaid for the work that was performed. They were very nice and showed up when they said they were going to. They quoted and charged me for a half a days labor but only worked for 2 hours. The chimney does look very nice. I really like them, I feel that they did a good job. But there was a disconnect there between us.

    Rod Layman Masonry
The job went smooth and quickly. The materials and stone were all delivered to the house and it only a week to finish. The crew was Helpful in answering all questions and concerns and even adjusted the height from six feet to seven upon my request. Would definitely recommend Layman Masonry for any local residential work needed!
