    Colwell Construction LLC
Kevin Colwell the owner is a very nice and responsive person. Contract was awarded May 25, 2019 work was not completed until August 21, 2019. His employees that did the roof were good and cleaned up the job site. There was 31 squares to be replaced and it was torn off and back on in one day. The employees that were to do the flashing work was very poor. Had to be redone 3 times. Gutter work and siding was okay. Had few minor issues with the gutters.

    Rachel's Cleaning & Services
I contacted Rachel's Cleaning Services to conduct a chimney sweep so we could start using our fireplace that had been unused for a few years. Tim and Joe contacted me the day of our appointment to ask if they could arrive a little earlier due to a cancellation, and then started right to work upon arrival. Both gentlemen were extremely helpful in explaining what they were doing and thankfully they noticed some issues within the firebox that were potentially hazardous. Tim tuck pointed the inside of the firebox, and even created a makeshift "door" for my cold air intake that had broken and was letting the outdoor air blow right into our living room. I would highly recommend this company and specifically Tim and Joe to work on your chimney needs.

    Maksim Roofing LLC
Edward is incredibly quick with communication, his crew is on time no matter what, their work appears to be top notch, and Maksim in general has been the easiest company to work with since I bought my home. I highly recommend these guys for any project you may need from them. I already plan on having them refinish my box gutters and will use them for any other work we need in the future.

    AJ's Tree Service
I talked to a gentleman over the phone and set up a time for him to come out. He was very nice over the phone but never showed up to do the estimate. I called back and left a message but never received a return phone call.

    Bruce D Ryan's Masonry Construction
Bruce Ryan is a real craftsman, who is on site working with and directing the crew doing the work.  To prep his estimate, he went onto the roof, took pictures and explained what needed to be done, and why a limestone cap was the only way to fix the leaking permanently.  His was the most expensive of 4 estimates I had, and the only one that made any real sense.  When I saw the extent of the work he and his crew were doing, I told him that I now understood why his bid was as high as it was.  The price was fair. And on his own, he told me about the Angie's list $100 coupon if services exceeded $1000 (or so).  Since he new I had found him through Angie's List, he didn't even ask me to print out the coupon.
After the first of 3 days of work, he noticed some serious deterioration of mortar behind a downspout that had been leaking, apparently for years, given the extent of erosion.  On his own time, he tried to find a replacement section of downspout; but the part he was looking for isn't made, so he fixed the leaky joint, tuck-pointed the eroded mortar, and reinstalled the downspout.  "No charge for that," he said when I went to pay the bill, "it just wasn't that big a deal".  It was to me, so I gave him a $100 tip.
His crew works hard for him, and it looks like they enjoy working for him.  It is a rare treat to work with true craftsmen.

    A New Rooftime
While cleaning out the attic above my garage, I discovered damage caused by an animal that had entered through a vent in the roof.  Although the animal was gone, I knew the hole had to be repaired.  Also, I recently noticed bricks had fallen off the chimney, along with the fact that I needed my gutters cleaned and reattached.  I called A New Roof Time based on reviews I read on Angie's List.  Justin (the owner's son) came out to give me an estimate.  After climbing up on the roof, Justin found the situation was much worse than originally thought.  He showed me a picture of the chimney and not only were many bricks laying on the roof, but it also need to be capped.  He found where the animal had entered the attic in the garage and explained how this would be repaired.  Then he told me how bad the roof itself was.  Even though the roof was only 17 years old, it had not been put on correctly (which I already knew), and had caused damage to the gutters.  Nails were popping through the shingles.  Although Justin didn't even know I would go with his estimate, he proceeded to hammer some of the nails down on the roof and the gutters, just to hold me over until someone could make repairs.  He spent a good 45 minutes checking things out, and did I say it was about 86 degrees out that day?

I was given 2 estimates, one for all the repairs needed done, and another for those repairs and a new roof.  Both estimates were more than appropriate.  I decided to go with Roof Time based not only on the estimate, but also because of the thorough explanations and professionalism provided by Justin.  He even suggested a shingle color that, once the roof was complete, couldn't have looked better!

Because of all the rain, we had to reschedule several times, but once they got here, everything went smoothly.  Knowing it was going to be in the 90's, they got here at 6:45am and were finished with the entire job around 3pm.  Dale (the owner) came out during the day just to make sure everything was going according to plan.  I couldn't be happier with the result and I feel everyone involved did an excellent job.  I would highly recommend A New Roof Time!

    AFFORDABLE CHIMNEY SWEEPING
This man owns the company and does his own work. He arrived on time and was very pleasant. He seemed to be knowledgeable and address our concerns about the chimney completely. He completed the work in a good time and cleaned up after the work was done.

    All Seasons Chimney Service, LLC
As a new member of Angie's list, Dave was one of the first companies I used from Angie's list...and I wasn't disappointed! After reading several reviews about Dave, I called and left a message for him to contact me to schedule an appointment to clean and inspect our chimney. He returned my call promptly, discussed the work to be done, cost, etc. We scheduled an appointment within a few days of my initial call. He showed up on time and got straight to work. Dave was very knowledgeable, asked several questions (he asked if I had work done before -- and showed me where there were some issues with the previous company's work -- he was very respectful and did not bad mouth the company, he merely pointed out problems) and patiently answered all of my questions/concerns in layman terms. Given the condition of our fireplace (FILTHY), he recommended another scheduled cleaning next year. He also pointed out some issues with our chimney cap. He didn't think it was an emergency repair, but suggested we watch it and act accordingly. We discussed several options. I appreciate his friendliness, willingness to answer questions, honesty, integrity and most of all his opinion (he's been in the business 26 years). He spent a long time cleaning until he was satisfied with the results. He was very tidy (no mess at all). I will definitely use Dave again (and have already given a referral for his services to my parents who live two doors down) and highly recommend him!

    All Seasons Chimney Service, LLC
David returned my initial call promptly. David arrived on time on the agreed upon date. He inspected the chimney, cleaned the chimney and explained what items needed to be addressed and whether they were urgent or not. He cleaned up after himself and left the room as clean as when he arrived. He answered all my questions very politely and knowledgeably.

    CHINMNEY DOCTORS UNLIMITED
I tried to get an estimate from this company for four weeks now. They came immediately when first called and said I would have the written estimate within a week. I did not receive anything from them within a week nor any communication. They would not return calls or messages left. When they finally did return my call blamed it on "putting in a new system at the office" and must have fallen between the cracks and who was I again? I had called daily leaving messages asking for a response. They knew who I was! If they can't do the job fine ...tell me so I can move on and find a company who is reputable and will do the job. Immediately told me how very sorry he was and I would have the estimate delivered into my hands the next day. Didn't happen and now won't return calls. If you want work done don't call these people. ACCOUNTABLITITY AND RESPONSIBILITY IS THE KEY HERE. Poor professional work ethic and customer service. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
