Scott promptly and professionally responded and provided an estimate, and did the work right when he said they would, and came in under budget and in less time. No hiccups or problems, just smooth sailing. My yard looks MUCH better. My wife was pleased with his professionalism.

If I could give them an A plus I would. The crew showed up at 8am sharp as scheduled. They quickly got to work and when finished walked us through what was done exactly. Mark was also sure to take the time to be certain that we were completely satisfied.

They were prompt and professional in meeting me the day after the order was placed. The Angie's List price of $649 was increased to $750 based on the job estimate to remove 10 lombardi popular trees. They provided an estimate for $900 to remove the trees and grind the stumps. I accepted and gave them a check for the $250 dollar difference (check was cashed on 11/2). They returned the following week to begin the job and after a weather delay (rain) they returned the weekend after that to complete the removal of the trees which was all completed satisfactorily. After they didn't return to complete the stump grinding, I reached our to them on 11/24 and the call was returned that evening and I was told they would be by in the next couple of days. A week later I made another phone call and was told again they would be by in the next few days. After contacting Angie's List to see what my options were, I called them today, 12/8 to see if they could provide a date to complete the job. I got voicemail, left a message, and have not received a response as of tonight. I had asked that they not drive on the lawn after a rain which they have done a nice job of not doing, but with the string of nice weather we have had, the job should have been completed by now.

    Greg's Tree Service
He was extremely careful not to damage anything - home, cars, electric lines, landscaping, etc. He is also insured.

They were very good about being neat and orderly.

He was very responsive -which we greatly appreciated. He was half the price of another company listed in Angie's List.

He did exactly what he said he would do. His crew even thanked us for the work.

We have now used Olive Branch twice.  The first time was for a fallen tree (one fallen tree) that the job wasn't worth enough to have another tree company come by to take it down for us.  Their mistake.  Olive Branch stopped by & had "the simple job" removed within 48 hours.  Since that experience was full of professionalism and kindness to help us out - we used them again to do an even bigger job & will continue to call them for all of our tree work in the future.
One tip they gave us was how to care for all the Ash Trees we have on our property.  I was told what to purchase and how to administer it and they were open to answering any questions I had in the future.  We did exactly what they told us to (saving a lot of money if they had done it for us) and our Ashes look great.

    Robert Rogers Tree Service
I hired another company to remove a large tree and grind all the stumps in my yard (8) thank goodness I held back final payment because these guys cut down the tree, leaving the stump app 4ft high and breaking two chunks out of my privacy fence, they removed the branches but left the large tree laying in my yard saying they would be back the following day to remove the rest of the tree and then then the next day to grind the stumps.  Two days later they did get the rest of the tree out and wanted me to give them the total balance I owed but I held back $100.00 and told them they can have that after the stumps are ground.  He was upset but I explained if I paid in full I might never see them again and I was right.  I was foolish to pay as much as I did because no one would grind all those stumps for $100.00 but his bid was for the entire job.
I gathered two bids and then a friend recommended Robert and sent him to my house to give an estimate.  He was half as much as my lowest bid and came fully prepare to do the job.  He had two workmen with him and they finished sawing the large "stump" the last guy had left and ground all eight stumps in just a couple of hours.  I was so pleased and confident in their work I sent them to two of my neighbors homes and they did work for them.  The neighbors later called to thank me as these guys are good and so reasonably priced.
Robert is fully insured and gives free estimates.  While based in Frankfort he services a large area and offers tree removal, topping and shaping as well as stump grinding.  Being in this business also allows him to sell and deliver firewood a good price.

    Limbwalker Tree Service Inc
It was great, not only did they know how to cut trees down, they were very helpful on telling me how to manage the lot more efficiently. What types of covers could stay and trees could stay, etc. They also removed a mulberry tree as well because they attract many birds and I would not have to worry about an extensive root system jacking up my house. They sent an arborist which I thought was very cool that was an adviser to the workers as well as recommended things to myself. It was a great experience.

    Tree-Tech Lawn & Tree Service
They came out for the quote & were very fair in their prices.  Because we were having so much work done, they threw in taking down a couple of smaller trees for free.  Our work was down within a week, all scheduled when they said it would be.  They had it all trimmed and removed within half a day & the clean up was impeccable.  The only glitch was the stump removal.  It seems like our communication wires were crossed as they have to hire that job out to another business.  I was told that they normally come within 24-48  hours but we had to wait about 2 weeks.  We were in no rush for the job to be completed, but we were worried that we were getting lost in the shuffle.  Eventually we got everything back on track & the job was completed as they said it would be.

    Greg's Tree Service
After waiting 2 months for a company that told me they would be out in 2 weeks to take down my trees, I called Greg's. Greg is a pleasant guy and knows what he is doing. He doesn't take the downed trees to sell for firewood so I told him to just get the trees down and I would clean them up. I'm retired, have time, a chainsaw and a buddy with a wood burning stove that loves to get free firewood so it worked out perfectly. Without the cleanup requirement, the price was much less than the first two estimates I got.
They showed up on the work date as promised and got right down to business. The trees they were bringing down were at least 60 footers and they did them all in about 3 hours while taking only one short break. Everything was left in such a way that it was easy to get to it to do the following cleanup.
Since that time, I have identified about 15 more ash trees that need to come down. One is at least 20 inches diameter and 100 feet tall, right next to a shed and inside a fenced yard so not much room to bring it down. I am confident they will know how to do it. I'll be calling Greg's again, probably a number of times as cash flow permits.

    Tree-Tech Lawn & Tree Service

Purchased a coupon from angie's list for $400 worth of service for $200.  Service provider came out quoted an estimate of $700, but with my coupon and $100 family saver coupon, my out of pocket cost was $400.

Service provider trimmed tree well and job took approximately one hour.  Service providers were professional and informative.

My only suggestion for anyone scheduling any kind of costly service, and before purchasing a coupon, would be to get a quote for the job from at least two companies prior to scheduling.
