He did a great job. He got here on time, was very friendly and responsive to time issues I needed to get it done. Very professional company I would highly recommend. I would definitely use them again.

William Wells, the owner, came when he said he would to give an estimate and to perform the work, answered all my questions and quoted a fair price, and gave additional suggestions/advice at the conclusion that I trusted and took.

Salesman was very nice. He spent a lot of time explaining the quality of the windows. When the workers arrived to complete the job, they were not very professional. They didn't simply cut the windows out--it was like a crude demolition. They split some of the window trim on the inside of the house as they were removing the windows. According to them, one window was measured incorrectly so they had to make it fit. They indicated that the older man who was sent to measure was not reliable and they often had to make the windows fit when he did the measurements. When they trimmed the windows on the outside, they cut the bottom of the trim so that it slanted in toward the window which makes a perfect medium for mold to grow and it was black with mildew/mold in just a few months. A few months after the windows were installed when the temperature dropped low outside, we noticed multiple drafts and had to caulk around the trim because they left large areas where there was a draft of air coming in from the outside on the window that didn't fit. One of the windows that they replaced was in the laundry room off the garage--this room is not heated so one of the water lines to the washer froze because there was a huge gap under the window between the trim and the wall. We had to caulk this area ourselves to prevent cold air from coming in. When I questioned the damage done to the trim around the windows that occurred during the removal of the old window, they said they would fill the crack in and we "would never know it". I asked if they couldn't just replace that piece. They said that the particular trim I had was too old to match. That was not true--Lowe's and Home Depot carry this trim.

The sales rep came out to my house on 5/21 to show me product samples and do their sales pitch.  When I called to set up the appointment I said I wanted a quote on insulated siding and new soffit.  They brought a sample of their siding with the Styrofoam insulation attached to it.  They quoted me a price and said it included the siding and a new front door (which they were going to throw in for free.  I asked about the soffit and they said they would include that also.  They started the install the first week of June 2014. When I came home from work the product that I was shown was not the product that was installed on my house.  I called the office and the sales person called me and said I was supposed to get the backer that was written on the purchase order.  He called the installer who promptly called me.  I told the installer that I didn't see any insulation and he proceeded to argue with me and get an attitude that it was on there.  It took me a while to convince him that the product I was shown was siding with Styrofoam insulation attached to it.  They ordered some type of roll of insulation which was not the product that I had been shown, nor was it the product that I was under the impression I had purchased.  The installer told me that they weren't able to put the insulation around the windows because they had to be built out in order for it to look right.  He then called the owner of the company who promptly called me to discuss my issues.  He made an appointment to come out to my house on 6/7 to discuss the options available.  The options available were to either pay money to build out the window frames or he would deduct some money from the original estimate (which was $7975 and he was only going to deduct approximately $800).  I chose to do the build out and to have the Styrofoam insulation installed and I also purchased another door for my house.  He offered to wrap the door and window jams with aluminum for free.  The project was completed on 6/19 and the owner came out to my house to finalize the paperwork.  The new front storm door was not closing properly so the owner called the installer to let him know.  I heard the installer getting an attitude with the owner of the company about how the door closed when he was here and blah blah blah.  I am satisfied with the final outcome of the project and the customer service skills of the owner of the company.  However the installer needs to learn not to get an attitude with the customer or the owner of the company.

I had some fasica that was damaged during the storms that hit Oldham County over labor day weekend.  I used Angie's list to find someone that did siding repair.  I decided to call Kevin Thompson because of all the great reviews his company received on Angie's list.  I called him on 9/4 in the late afternoon and left a voice mail.  I received no call back from him so I called him late afternoon on 9/5 and got a hold of him.  He said he would come over the next day on 9/6 (friday) to look at where my fascia was damaged and give me an estimate by phone as I was at work.  I never received a call.  On Monday 9/9, I called him again and asked him if he had come by.  He said he did not but would come over mid morning tuesday to look at the damage and call me by phone to give an estimate.  That was a week ago and I never heard from him.  This kind of treatment is unprofessional and totally unacceptable.  The funny thing was that both times we spoke on the phone he asked me where I heard about his company and I told him Angie's list both times.  You would think that he would not want to completely ignore a customer who is an Angie's list member because I could write a negative review about him.  If you were too busy to do the job, then just say so.  If the job is small where you would not make much profit off of it, then tell me.  I talked to several other siding companies that told me that very thing and that they only do total house jobs and not repairs.  I was not happy with that but I do appreciate the honesty and not wasting my time.
