Chuck Rader Master Painter & Remodeler
Positively stellar! Im about to put my house up for sale, and since the house hadnt been painted in about 15 years, it needed a serious face lift. Chucks team certainly delivered! They were extremely professional, tackled every blemish on every wall, and didnt complain as I looked over their shoulder. :-). They are now my One and Only Go-To team when I need painting. Thanks Chuck!

William Wells, the owner, came when he said he would to give an estimate and to perform the work, answered all my questions and quoted a fair price, and gave additional suggestions/advice at the conclusion that I trusted and took.

    Cardinal Fence & Security Inc
We had an extremely good experience with them. We are extremely happy. The ladies in the office are very nice. They gentlemen who  came and installed were extremely nice. They got it done in a very timely manner. They were not late, just got it done. The product looks great. I thought the price was very competitive. The price was very good.

    Cardinal Fence & Security Inc
looked on Angie's because I usually do the work myself, but decided I didn't have the time. They were very courteous on the phone and was looking forward to getting the job done. I took the day off, and at the time of expected arrival, opened my front door, garage door. To let the person know I was home. after about a hour, I called Cardinal and asked them if he was running late. I was told the person came and left. supposedly ringing my doorbell several times and knocking also. never heard a thing. I was cut off, and the next thing you know, the person who I was suppose to meet, was calling me and calling me a liar. I called Cardinal fencing once more to complain, and talking to the owner, I told him his person called me and said I was lying. Warning, do not deal with these people. They are arrogant and Obnoxious. If you do, don't blame me

Salesman was very nice. He spent a lot of time explaining the quality of the windows. When the workers arrived to complete the job, they were not very professional. They didn't simply cut the windows out--it was like a crude demolition. They split some of the window trim on the inside of the house as they were removing the windows. According to them, one window was measured incorrectly so they had to make it fit. They indicated that the older man who was sent to measure was not reliable and they often had to make the windows fit when he did the measurements. When they trimmed the windows on the outside, they cut the bottom of the trim so that it slanted in toward the window which makes a perfect medium for mold to grow and it was black with mildew/mold in just a few months. A few months after the windows were installed when the temperature dropped low outside, we noticed multiple drafts and had to caulk around the trim because they left large areas where there was a draft of air coming in from the outside on the window that didn't fit. One of the windows that they replaced was in the laundry room off the garage--this room is not heated so one of the water lines to the washer froze because there was a huge gap under the window between the trim and the wall. We had to caulk this area ourselves to prevent cold air from coming in. When I questioned the damage done to the trim around the windows that occurred during the removal of the old window, they said they would fill the crack in and we "would never know it". I asked if they couldn't just replace that piece. They said that the particular trim I had was too old to match. That was not true--Lowe's and Home Depot carry this trim.

    Nu Wood Works
Nu Wood quoted the work and I send them a check for money down in early April. I told Mark I had a big family event at the my house in June and he told me he could get it done. I know weather was bad but I had nothing but delays & excuses. First I was told they would start Thursday May 12 then I was texted on Monday May 16 that they would start that day. I was text that much pressure washing was completed that week and had to send Mark at Nu Wood pictures of my green deck to prove no work has been done. After a bunch more texts I was told they would start on May 23 again nothing done! On Wednesday May 25th I was text and told my deck was "clean enough to eat on". I called my wife who was home all day and she said no one pressure washed at all. Again I sent pictures showing no work was done! Mark called me Wednesday night to assure me he was on top of everything as I was very upset. He hold me, Chris, is best guy would be at my house first thing Thursday and would get it pressured washed. He would give me my money back if the pressure washing was not done by Thursday and the work would be completed that weekend. Chris even called me at too and said he could even do it if it rained. Thursday I received a call from Chris at 12:53 pm saying it was going to rain Thursday late afternoon and now did not want to pressure wash. (it did not start rain until after 3:30 and the day before he said he would pressure wash in the rain) When I got home I found that no one from Nu Wood had been at my house that day. Because it was apparent NU-Wood would not get done in time. My wife and I took off work on Friday and cancelled our annual family travel plans for Memorial Day weekend & did the work ourselves.

    Blunt Brothers Construction
    Going by the categories above:
Price - overall it was a great price - reasonable and affordable.  While we had very slightly lower quotes, Kyle's confident and punctual service, cheerful demeanor and solution-finding, can-do-it attitude clinched the deal for us.  Sure enough, it was an excellent value for a reasonable price.
Quality - Used good materials - the finished product looks amazing and is holding up well.
Responsiveness - We were able to be in contact with Kyle whenever we needed, either by phone or text.  He was quick to answer any questions, give valuable suggestions and kept us posted on the progress of the job and what he'd be doing next.
Punctuality - This is the first contractor who actually showed up at the time he said he would!  The job itself actually took a day or two longer than first estimated, but part of the reason was that we asked for an extra gate to be put in, and then needed a bigger size.  For all of that, Kyle worked with us really easily.
Professionalism - yes, definitely.  And at the same time, he has an easygoing manner and is very family-friendly.
    Some highlights:
Kyle stayed within the estimate he gave us, even though throughout the project he and his team were ready to throw in helpful extras.  For example, we decided on including this tree stump that's in our yard within the fence, because our little ones have fun playing around and on it. However, after they left our 2 year old fell from the stump and got a bruise on the face. The next day, when Kyle and his team saw that, he immediately said that they'd remove the rough bark on the stump and round off the edges, making it all smooth and much safer to play on.  This was above and beyond the call of duty, and he did it just because he can't stand to see kids hurt and has fun working hard! No extra charge.
They also took out an unruly bush that remained when they tore down the old deck (including the roots of the bush) and hauled it away too.  Again, no extra charge.
Moved a fence pole after it was set, when we realized we wanted to extend the fence a little further.  No complaining, no extra charge for labor, only for the additional fencing needed.
We are very well pleased - even 3 months after the completion of the work!
Will definitely be calling Blunt Brothers (a family business) next time we need work done.

The day of service the workers came on time.  One drilled holes in the rafters under the roof (solid beams of the house) and attached the hardware for the awning pole.  I was not watching the entire time but somehow they set up the frame and attached the fabric roller above the frame.  Lastly, the roller handle was attached and the fabric awning was rolled in and out to ensure the awning worked properly.  They both diligently ensured all work was timely and professional.  They cleaned up all debris when finished and stated I would receive my bill in the mail.
I would like to add that this is a family company that has been in business for a long time.  This work order was completely
wonderful from my initial visit with the owner 'John' all the way through to the final bill.  I just love my awning and the matching fabric complements my home beautifully.  Visitors and contractors have asked me for the name of the company and I make sure and tell them 'FITZSIMMONS Awnings'.  I have had many contractors inside and outside of my home.  Every business should receive recognition for outstanding work as well as shoddy work and work ethics.  To me, the price is excellent due to the fact this is a long time family company, the work is professional, the fabric and frame has a 10 year warranty in conjunction with the fabric quality and vast variety of colors to match the home :).  Thank you John and God bless.

    Fresh Colors Painting

Gary Snyder was very pleasant to work with.  He stayed in touch with me via phone or email until the work was finished.  His painters did a fantastic job. Would definitely recommend.  Picture shown below.......
