Gutter Repair reviews in La Grange

    Oldham Co Roofing
They tore off and replaced the entire roof and gutters on my house and did an excellent job. William was great to work with. He gave me sample boards to choose shingles from, was willing to say what was possible and what wasn't, and was realistic about the time frame to complete the job, all at a reasonable price. William was also very willing to make some changes and do whatever he needed to do to satisfy. The gutter color matches my house trim perfectly and they work great (first time in 20 yrs). I would hire William and his crew again without hesitation.

Mr. Wells returned my call promptly and made an appointment to come out the next day. Work was done in a professional manner. He took photos of my roof to show me it was in good condition. I will use Oldham County Roofing again.

    Klempner Design and Construction LLC.
Waited longer than expected due to delays in delivery of materials, but this was no fault of Klempner Design and Construction. Once materials were received, the project was completed promptly and to my satisfaction. It was a pleasure to work with Aaron and his team. I will definitely seek their services again for future projects.

The sales rep came out to my house on 5/21 to show me product samples and do their sales pitch.  When I called to set up the appointment I said I wanted a quote on insulated siding and new soffit.  They brought a sample of their siding with the Styrofoam insulation attached to it.  They quoted me a price and said it included the siding and a new front door (which they were going to throw in for free.  I asked about the soffit and they said they would include that also.  They started the install the first week of June 2014. When I came home from work the product that I was shown was not the product that was installed on my house.  I called the office and the sales person called me and said I was supposed to get the backer that was written on the purchase order.  He called the installer who promptly called me.  I told the installer that I didn't see any insulation and he proceeded to argue with me and get an attitude that it was on there.  It took me a while to convince him that the product I was shown was siding with Styrofoam insulation attached to it.  They ordered some type of roll of insulation which was not the product that I had been shown, nor was it the product that I was under the impression I had purchased.  The installer told me that they weren't able to put the insulation around the windows because they had to be built out in order for it to look right.  He then called the owner of the company who promptly called me to discuss my issues.  He made an appointment to come out to my house on 6/7 to discuss the options available.  The options available were to either pay money to build out the window frames or he would deduct some money from the original estimate (which was $7975 and he was only going to deduct approximately $800).  I chose to do the build out and to have the Styrofoam insulation installed and I also purchased another door for my house.  He offered to wrap the door and window jams with aluminum for free.  The project was completed on 6/19 and the owner came out to my house to finalize the paperwork.  The new front storm door was not closing properly so the owner called the installer to let him know.  I heard the installer getting an attitude with the owner of the company about how the door closed when he was here and blah blah blah.  I am satisfied with the final outcome of the project and the customer service skills of the owner of the company.  However the installer needs to learn not to get an attitude with the customer or the owner of the company.

Workers arrived on time.  Very polite and professional; they gave me their names, informed me who they work for, what they were going to do and gave me a timeframe.  I am a person with disabilities so I was up the previous night.  I had to go back to bed for a few hours to regroup from being up most of the night.  I could barely hear them as they were installing the gutter guards and Iwas so impressed to hear that one of the workers was humming. This tells me that he must really love his job and/or he was happy to be alive and able to work :).  The price was very good, the workers were great, Kevin is a man of his word...they are just wonderful and I highly recommend them.  They are on my favorites list :).  Thank you and God bless you.

They did a wonderful job, very personable and professional. Took the extra time to answer questions during the job and soothed any fears I had through the process since this is not something I have ever done before. They did not leave anything in the yard once done- clean up was thourough. Did everything as promised via the contract, all in the same day. Would definitley recommend

    A-1 Aluminum Inc
We contacted A-1 Aluminum because we have a gutter mitre corner that is leaking. We had used A-1 previously a number of years ago to install gutters on our barn. The service and price then was acceptable so we contacted them again. We knew it was a small job but I am 71 years old and the gutter is about 18 feet off the ground and over a concrete patio.
Mr. Elder came to the house to review the situation and said he would email an estimate. We had to call him after a few days asking about the estimate. He finally emailed a contract and I replied back that it was acceptable. After not hearing from him for about two week my wife called and spoke to him and he said it would be about 3 weeks before he could get to it. My wife said that would be fine just to let us know when he would be coming. WE HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM HIM AT ALL.
As I said, it is a small job and probably would not take over 1/2 hour from the time they took the ladder off the truck until they were back on their way again. We paid no money up front so I can't complain that we were cheated. If he had told us when he first came out to give an estimate that he did not want to do the job we would understand and would contact another contractor.
Although we live in Oldham County it is really not out of the way since I believe Mr. Elder lives close to LaGrange.
I have copies of the exchanged emails.

I was pleased that they actually contacted me to schedule the service after I purchased the deal. It was nice not to have to make another phone call myself--as a busy mom of two I feel like I'm always calling, running errands, etc. The technician (Matt, I believe was his name) showed up when he said he would and was dressed professionally and was very polite and respectful. He told me what he was going to do and how, etc. When he was done he let me know he had repaired a few small spots on the roof. I asked if his company replaced gutters. He said yes. I asked then if he could provide an estimate for the gutter replacement because the house is in need of them--we're trying to make some repairs and upgrades to sell the house. He said he could have one emailed to me. I said great. It's been about a month and I have yet to receive my estimate for gutter replacement. Beyond that, I was a little bit disappointed with how fast the service went. My house is small, about 1400 sqare feet, but I feel like paying $200 for 20 minutes worth of work was a bit much. I will not likely recommend them or hire them myself again as I do not feel that they were worth the money I spent.

Did a great job, at a great value. We had 2 other estimates but one came in too high and the other came in too low. He was very professional. Cleaned up after himself. The gutters are doing their job. We were so impressed that we will be hiring him again to put doors on our house. Honest. Timely. Gets the job done.

Brad was polite and professional and responded to questions and phone calls in a timely manner.  Both crews were also professional and we were pleased with their work.  We were particularly impressed with how careful the roofing crew was with our landscaping. They were meticulous about picking up debris and left our property, deck and sidewalks cleaner than when they arrived.
