    Kolors by Kara LLC
They were a joy to work with. Kara has an excellent eye for color and her recommendations were perfect. They both did a great job with edging and coverage and the rooms they painted look great. They addressed every concern we had, and went above and beyond to make us happy. They covered our furniture and the floor as they worked, and did a great job cleaning up when the work was done. We were so pleased with their work, we had them do additional rooms. Whenever we need painting, we will be calling them again.

    We Can Do LLC
I found David Hammond's services (We Can Do. LLC) through Angie's List and was very happy with his professionalism and the quality of the work he completed for us. Not only was he personable, upon first contacting him he happened to be available for an onsite estimate the same day!
Our front entryway job included drywalling 3 adjacent surfaces, retexturing the replaced section of ceiling, reframing the door with trim, and replacing the entryway ceiling light fixture. The project was tidy and completed over two consecutive days, despite the drying time for multiple layers of mudding and sanding. In addition, the end cost matched the initial estimate and though I always got an answering machine when I called, David consistently replied within the hour (usually within 30 min!) and communication remained good. He came to do the job on the days he said he would, and even called on those mornings ahead of arrival.
Mr. Hammond is definitely at the top of our list for our next home repair/improvement job.

    Fresh Colors Painting
Gary arrived, educated me to paint quality, colors and literally everything I needed to know about the variation of paints.  The future day arrived for the paint crew.  They were on time. The senior man 'Steve' asked me questions as to any minor repairs and explained to me everything the two of them were going to do to include minor drywall repairs.  They placed booties on their shoes when they came into my house and all the cloths and protection needed to ensure no paint would be spilled on my tiled floors.  They painted almost the entire basement to include baseboards.  When they were finished, they cleaned up any debris and sealed the two remaining paint cans.  Steve gave me instructions as to the drying time and the importance of the numbers on the paint cans for future paint job touch-ups (if needed).
Summary:  The entire basement is beautifully color coordinated and looks nicer now than when I moved here in 2010.  Superior painting business deserving of a triple A rating.  Thank you Gary and God bless :))

Chuck Rader Master Painter & Remodeler
First, I would like to say that 'if I were a man' I may have given a better review(?).  After reading painter reviews I decided to give Chuck Rader a call.  My email originally stated I needed painting for my basement walls and baseboards and possible ceiling and 2 outdoor shutters a front door and an estimate to replace some boards on my back deck.  Chuck's initial response was great but I had to wait a week to receive a written estimate.  The estimate given by email did not cover all of the items we discussed.  Chuck was in such a hurry when he came to give me an estimate that he forgot about the front door and shutters and the back deck.  The estimate did not mention the ceiling and we specifically discussed the ceiling due to previous blotches in different areas of the ceiling.  The estimate did not mention caulking we discussed that was missing around certain windows.  No mention of re-applying the baseboards to the bottom of the drywall and the 'Hazard' statement is not clear but seems to state that his employees will not be held accountable for clean up or disposal of paints or hazzardous paint.

An estimate should be thorough and detalied according to the job.  I specifically mentioned that I am preparing my house to sell next Spring and the need for a professional job.  Chuck mentioned that he and his workers are running approx. four week behind to start a job and I said fine.  Chuck was walking very fast while asking questions and discussing the work.  After I received his estimate I decided that his services were not for me.  As I said at the beginning, maybe things would have been different 'if I were a man'.  This area seems to have a problem with intelligent women that know quality estimates and work ethics.  People work hard for their money and deserve a quality job.  Hopefully, Chuck will take more pride in his estimates and realize that some women are business women that are very thorough and have great knowledge about professional businesses.  I treat others the way I want to be treated and I really do look out for my neighbors.
Update:  I received another estimate from a professional painting service that stated I would need to have my walls primed first due to the fact every wall has new drywall.  He also went into detail about the importance of paint primer, paint quality and textures for specific purposes.  I received no comments from Chuck in regards to my needing a paint primer.

Ladegast SkilledTrades was the answer to our needs! We had a partially finished room in our basement that we needed completed within a very short time span. They did a great job framing up & drywalling the room and adding a walkin closet. They also made another closet for us under the stairs along with putting on a properly ventilated door for the furnace room. The base trim was also done by them and was nice(he also fixed some trim above an existing door).  There was an electrical box in the room and since it was going to be a kids room, we needed to enclose it and put a lock on it and that is exactly what was made for us. It was perfect.
They also repaired a large stress crack above our MBR door. The owner Brent was extremely professional and so were his employees. Very prompt and kind. I felt very comfortable having them in my home doing the job while I was away at work during the day. The job was not rushed, but done promptly as said. I even asked Brent to look at the basement toilet to get his opinion of why it was leaking. He did a quick fix for me and didn't even charge us. Also, put in an access panel in the main basement area along with one in our closet which we needed to have. Wonderful to have a working restroom near a kids bedroom.
We are very pleased with the affordable & excellent job that Ladegast Skilled Trades did for us and will contact them in the future with any jobs needed. Thanks!

They did a fantastic job! They came in one day and hung the bottom 16and quot;. Then, the next day they mud and tape the seams. The next day they sand, although they did such a good mud job, that they did not need to sand much. I really liked the work. I asked them to give me a bid on a 8x19 area of ceiling and a sky light drywall skim over. They wanted the same amount of money for that as they did for 2/3rds of the basement. I guess they don't like to do ceilings above 12 foot. But I definitely will use them again next time I have a wall project.

Update: I had someone another company come in to do the high ceiling and skylight area. the pricing for fix and painting was less than their bid to fix. Then, I just had them out to bid on a small 3x6 area in my hall and the bid was twice as much as another bid. They were so inexpensive on the basement, now everything they bid is over all the other bids. Not sure what happened. they do a good job, but not worth the high prices they are quoting now.

    We Can Do LLC
We are remodeling a house that we just purchased. I called We Can Do and spoke with David Hammond the owner. We set up a time for a review for an estimate. Well it was about a week later than he said but he came a provided us with an estimate. After getting a few other estimates we decided to use We Can Do. I had removed most of the wallpaper in the dining room but the drywall was damaged and the wallpaper backing remained. The first layers of the drywall came off in places. In the kitchen we removed a back splash and it also made a mess of the drywall. Same problems in 2 baths. David showed up when he said he would and he and his helper worked a very long day that first day. While they were working I pointed a few other small drywall problems and asked if they would repair them and move an electrical wire for a light in the pantry. They fixed them all. They covered the hardwood floors and cleaned up each day. They came back 2 more days and finished the work. The drywall is ready for priming. Even after the extra work they did for me the final bill came in under estimate. I would highly recommend them and will use them again if I need any drywall work done. I've got a basement that needs to be finished.

It took too long to set an appointment to come out and obtain an estimate. Finally set an appointment and they came out to look at my house. They told me they would have the estimate to me the following Monday but it has now been over a week and a half since they came out and still no estimate.
