    Their emergency is really awesome. It was for one of the kids. They were very expedient about getting you through. It is a clean facility. It was neat, clean and well worth getting out there. The people were very nice and very courteous.

    It went as well as could be expected. I was not in the system initially so that was a little frustrating. An employee a few weeks back indicated that my OB office was in the system so I didn't need to pre-register and that was not the case. No ones fault when I came in but it was a little frustrating at the time since I was having contractions. They were understanding that I needed to answer questions and sign papers in between contractions. They took me back quickly to labor and delivery once the Q and A was complete enough to take me back. They were very understanding of my wanting to go natural and did not ask at any point if I wanted any meds. They let me know how far dilated I was and told me when I had effective pushes. I wish they would have told me more about how far along I was once the pushing started. They were very good about doing skin to skin as soon as the baby was born. They let me have a lot of time with her before trying to move me to mother/baby. All of my nurses were very nice and helpful with the exception of one. They were good at answering questions and helping if I needed anything. Sometimes it took the nurse a few minutes to get in once the call button was pushed but they it to be expected sometimes and it wasn't for anything urgent. They let us know what we needed to do and the paperwork that needed to be done. I was very happy with the delivery and after care. I only would have changed the registration, the one nurse that wasn't as pleasant and getting a little more feedback about how far along I was once pushing started. Maybe not knowing was best since I had a very smooth delivery. I would definitely go back since they were so good about keeping me and my baby safe and also honoring our wishes.

    I was dehydrated and went to the ER. The experience was the worst for me in my entire life. I needed a catheter and it took two nurses to get it to work. They spent almost 30 minutes trying to do it and I felt so violated. When I was doing my ultrasound, the catheter was not put in right as what was supposed to be prevented happened. The technician even said it was not supposed to be that way and had to pull it out. I was advised to get surgery that to this day I don't feel that I needed, which caused a 2 day stay there. O n top of that, I was over charged. My husband had to consistently call this hospital billing center to straighten this out. Almost every time we have a big bill, this takes place. Now, we are avoiding this hospital by all means.

    Their whole network is excellent, be their immediate care or primary care.  Dr. Mary Barry is my primary care giver and she is an excellent doctor.  I have been with her for twenty-five years and she has always been excellent.  I have used their multiple locations but I mainly go to the one where my doctor is, the one on Barret Ave, and that office is excellent.  They couldn’t do any better.

    They were the only ones who had an independent nurse who could come out and do that.They were very professional and did not take any time at all to do the infusion. I was very impressed with the nurse who did come out. She said she was not sure she could find a vein in my hand so she went ahead and put a shot of Lidocaine in my hand so that she could locate the vein without any pain. on my part. I was very impressed with that because most nurses don't do that; they just stick a needle in and start digging for a vein. So I would recommend them 100%. My favorite thing about the entire experience was the Lidocaine shot because it was very good. It numbs out a specific area where you're going to have to insert a needle and it will basically make sure that you do not have any pain whatsoever. She was fortunate enough to find a vein right away, but the fact that she went out of her way to make sure that she gave me Lidocaine first in my hand to make sure there was no pain, if she was going to have to hunt, because my veins were in bad shape. As soon as I told her that she said, "Well, then we're not going to take any chances. We're going to make sure you can't feel it at all". She was going above and beyond what a visiting home health nurse normally does. Not only did she do a good job with that but she left me with additional supplies. That way, should I need to have more services rendered when they came back, if they had to come back, I would just be able to tell them and they wouldn't have to put all the efforts of hunting the supplies again. It was a little bit more expensive then I expected.

    Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield does a good job to pick up what my Medicare does not cover. For example, they cover a yearly physical. They do a good job communicating because they explain my bills very well to me. They always try to encourage me to get involved with their program to help me out with my prescriptions. If I have any type of question I can ask them and they are always very helpful.
