AMissi ConstructionBased on a recommendation I received, I contracted with Missi Construction/Rick Missi to complete a kitchen renovation, bathroom renovation, and new bathroom addition. Missi Construction did a wonderful job on the project and I am very pleased! Rick does excellent work and was always very patient with me as I agonized over the many decisions involved in a home improvement project. He is thorough, responsive, and completed the project in a timely manner. I would definitely use Missi Construction again.- Deborah B.

AMissi ConstructionI can't say enough about Missi Construction. My wife and I decided to add a half bath in the basement in the middle of a pandemic. In order to minimize the risk of exposure, Rick only allowed necessary personnel (electrician, plumber, and inspectors) in addition to himself and David on the site, and still managed to get the job done in a timely fashion. I have dealt with quite a few contractors, but none more courteous, honest, and professional than Rick. He stayed in constant communication with me, and was always here when he said he was going to be. As with almost all basement remodeling projects things don't always go as planned, and this one was no exception. We had to make a few changes to our original plans along the way, and Rick continually kept me informed as to why he had to change something. I would not hesitate to hire Rick again. Bill P.- Bill P.

AFlooring & Granite DesignsI normally wouldn't leave a review for a company before the work is done, but in this case, I'll make an exception. We live in an almost 20 year old house that has a lot of the original appointments in it, and I have been wanting to do quite a bit of updating. I have worked with Flooring and Granite Designs to get designs, options, and price quotes on hardwood, tile, and luxury vinyl flooring for my main floor, a custom solid surface tabletop, and remodeling my master bath and shower. The owner, Ty Raver, helped me personally, and he was thorough and patient through each question and potential option change, helping me plan out designs that fit my budget, and organizing into a timeline that worked for our family of six. He explained the pros and cons of different options, not trying to upsell me on more expensive but less practical flooring for my family. The level of customer service just through this part of the process was unmatched, and we look forward to working with them through each of our updates, starting with flooring this fall.- Monica W.

ARafael and his crew did an excellent job removing wallpaper, patching, and painting. Baseboards were replaced throughout the house and the work was done with care. He noticed things that needed attention, such as old ceiling tiles that needed replacing and did the work. I was especially impressed that I could rely on Rafael and his crew to be at the house doing the work, even though I was coordinating his services from another town. He communicated promptly and even sent pictures of the progress. I am thankful for his services.

AMy first encounter with United Structural Systems company ( USS) was last year, when I had to face the decision which company I go for foundation repair at my house in West Virginia. It was equal bids on my project from two companies USS and Alltek. Unfortunately for me, I made the decision to go with Alltek Environmental Services company at that time. Foundation repair was finished in August 2019 by Alltek (please read my review, that I placed separately for Alltek). 48,000 dollars payment later foundation been done. I finally be able to place my house for sale this year and come to realization, after inspection is done on the house, that it is a presence of water leak in the storage area. I could not believe, how it is possible, when the foundation repair was just done 8 months ago. I guess, things were not done properly after all. After numerous attempts to contact Alltek company, I finally be able to get the response with another promise to “fix it” in the amount of $9,200 or later for free…if I take off my review of their company from homeadvisor.com. Lack of professionalism, poor craftsmanship and PR was major disappointment for me. To be honest, after I been treating inferiorly by Alltek, I did not have any desire to go back to the same company. I was looking for second opinion how to resolve these issues. I decided to reach out again United Structural (who I was hoped to remember me from last year) and explain my dilemma. Bobby K. (Sales Manager for USS) come to the rescue! He was willing to give me his unbiased opinion on the situation. Bobby K, “commander in charge”, went to the house and informed me, that “downspout lines were never installed, the part on top of the ground went nowhere and tie back patch was poor quality”. Simply put it, Alltek did a mediocre job. I immediately made the decision go ahead and proceed with United Structural Systems company for repair of the mistakes. I cannot say enough praise for the USS company and manager Bobby K. This re-du project was done in timely matter, communication was superior ( needless to say I live out of state and it was never an issue), area after the job was clean up to perfection and…the garage/storage area now look dry bone and beautiful. Awhhhh... maybe I should not sell my house after all?! I have a buyer on the house, and I am closing in 2 weeks and can say with all honesty, I could not do that without United Structural help. It was exceedingly difficult situation for me, and it was resolved by USS company with flying colors. Thank you again USS. I recommend you without any hesitation!!! AWe were very pleased with the work that Steve and Jason did on the bathroom. They were able to schedule the job when it was convenient for me. I would say that they were perfectionists when it came to laying out the tile, and that is a good thing. The whole job did take a little longer than they had expected, but I guess that is to be expected from perfectionists. They went above and beyond when they replaced the baseboard and threshold, getting new material, and staining it to much where needed.
