I had a dental checkup there 2 days ago ($123). They changed their name recently and got a new computer system so not even my name and address were in their records. Hmm. The checkup ended with a recommendation for a deep cleaning (scraping and root planing, 4 separate anesthetized sessions, ~$1,000) based on X-ray 'bone loss' and gum pocket measurements, and they identified 5 cavities that needed to be filled ($2,082 work recommended). Having had a strong recommendation from my brother to try the U of Louisville dental school clinic, I found their price for deep cleaning to be a good bit lower ($252 less, based on estimates), and I decided to go there for the work instead. This morning I went to U of L and was told I had NO cavities, and that I did NOT need deep cleaning. They explained several deep gum pockets in the back were probably misidentified by Integrity Dentistry because the gums themselves are rather think and high there, and that X-ray voids around several old fillings were questionable, but told me there were no indications of disease (NO need for the deep cleaning, and NO cavities to be filled). I question the competence of the hygienist, who took the gum measurements, and the dentist, who was a bit too quick to recommend a fairly drastic treatment for what the U of L professionals dismissed as not warranting ANY treatment at all.

The same as it has been for the last 16 or so years. Every 6 months the doctor and his staff have always been great.

We are new to the area and had to find a dentist to replace a spacer that fell out for my 6 year old son.  They were welcoming and the dentist was so nice and comforting to my child  and eased his anxiety.  She talked him through what she was doing and very patient with him. We have since been back since to have another one replaced too and the same welcoming experience.  No wait.  Easy to get an appointment.  We were without insurance at the time and they helped with billings.  Our family will be going back for routine check up's going forward and have become our new dentist.

    Bradley Stearsman DMD
Went extremely well. Have been a patient of Dr. Stearsman for about 2-3 years and they call me by name (the entire staff), they know how many kids i have and approx. ages, they always ask about my wife/family. My wife goes to Dr. Stearsman as well. Awesome admin. staff - they informed me today that i was due for X-rays and i simply stated, "if the ins. won't cover it, i don't want it today". 5 minutes into the cleaning and the ins. lady came in and said they will cover the majority of it, i will have a small out of pocket to be paid...i told them to go ahead and do the Xrays... it is this personal service that attracted me to them and after about 3 years - they have not slacked off. It seems like they are trying to be more friendly and polite than the last time. The cleanings are thorough but gentle. They do an excellent job and will spend the time to chat with you before they get to work. They really want to get to know you and will strive to make your visit as comfortable as possible. For example, i cannot stand the polishing. The texture of the paste wears me out. So my hygienist offers to use some other brand than her norm - because it is less gritty....but she tells me that the downside is, that it is not as effective - i chose the gritty paste...i'm like everyone else i want the most bang for my buck. if you are looking for a dentist - i highly recommend Dr. Stearsman and his staff. Very professional, but very personal. As weird as it may sound - i am actually freinds with my dentist!!!

Good, listened to problem and working on correcting it. Dr. O Cull is very good and gentle. Only improvement would be that appointment time is closer to actual chair time as sometimes you are waiting a while to be seen. But this is not enough of a concern as I plan for the extra time just in case.

    Beadle, Dr. Ralph
We came in a little early for our appointment and we signed in. They make appointments for me, my son and my husband all at the same time which is great because we live an hour away. We only waited for 10 minutes they have two hygienists. My son and husband was with one while the other was cleaning my teeth. My son loves it there he can see the wildlife outside . He played and I sit in the chair while my husband was getting his teeth cleaned. The doctor comes in and checks and makes sure you are ok and that everything is going okay. Then they make our next appointment and we are out of there. It is the best office and everyone smiles, says hi and they are very friendly and are great!

    Oldfield, Dr. Mary E
I would recommend her very highly. We have used her for a very long time. She is very good with children. The hygienists are very friendly. They have state-of-the-art imagery; like all new x-ray machines and things. I am usually able to get in when I want to. My husband has actually been in for a lot of surgery and things, and he is always able to get in within just a couple of days.

They were very thorough with the depth of the exam and did a wonderful job. They were knowledgeable and seemed to generally care that I had everything taken care of. I felt like I was at home and it helped sooth my anxieties. I think I have found my new family dentist!

Our whole family goes there. They have been fantastic. I like them. The overall experience has been excellent. They take walk-ins. Anytime I have needed to go they tell me to come right on in or they set up an appointment for later in the day.
