    It went GREAT his staff is AWESOME! They always make you feel so comfortable. And the Dr. himself is so good he explains everything he's doing as he's doing it. He is also very fast at what he does. Even my 5 yr old daughter loves go to the dentist! Before I found Dr. Justice, I was like most people, I hated going to the dentist. But now I almost look forward to it!

    He is outstanding. At first my kids were very apprehensive. Now, my kids love going to the dentist. He is very gentle. We have been with him now for about four years. I have never heard anyone say anything but good about him. When my daughter had some teeth removed, they sent us to one of their other facilities. They were able to put her to sleep so that they could remove her teeth.

    rysI Searched the internet for the best doctor in danville, because my past dentist never seemed to answer my questions or satisfy my needs. Dr. Cousins seemed to be highly recommended and much more modern than her local competition. My first appointment to have my teeth cleaned and tallk about possible solutions to a couple gaps and rigid teeth from years of grinding. I was dissapointed that that my appointment seemed to be more focused on the possibility of veneers than getting my teeth cleaned. I actually never got my teeth cleaned that day because of the time taken to talk about vaneers. Since then I have been back 5 times. Doctor Cousins is the friendliest doctor I have ever known, but I feel like she tells you what you want to hear more than the actual reality of expectations. It has been 7 months since I first went there; I finally got my teeth cleaned and cavities filled after 4 visits, but we still had a long way to go before I would be satisfied with the vaneers. She sent my moldings into her first choice of labs to create my vaneers three times before she admitted that he was not doing a very good job. So she sent the molding into a different doctor who was supposed to be more well known for his work, but his work required more money than the first lab. After 7 months and 5 failed attempts to get a satisfactory outcome; I have decided to hold out on the vaneers and maybe try a different doctor in the future. Overall Dr. Cousins is a well educated, very talented and polite dentist, I Just wish she used a more skilled lab to create the molds that are supposed to show you what the vaneers would look like. I didnt think the model looked like it had been given much effort or attention to detail. After 7 months and 5 different tries, I gave up on dr. Cousins for veneers. For someone who is just wanting general dental work done, Dr. Cousins couldn't be better. She made me feel important, she was a very good listener and never made me feel like I was wrong about anything. My belief is that her affiliated companies doing work for her are the reasons for any problems.

    The first visit was via an auction won, whitening system. The office is wonderful!!! Service was complete and quick. Dr. Oldfield was pleasant. This second visit used insurance. I check when the appointment was made(they pulled all my insurance info from the provider) and again prior to the work being completed. I was told that my visit was covered in full by my insurance. My insurance said they cover most depending if the cost is excessive. Dr. Oldfield's office assured me they were not excessive in price and the visit would be covered by the insurance. Needless to say it was not. The visit was pleasant, work went well but, beware of their charges. They are expensive and not accurate in their estimates of coverage.

    I guess I don't really have a definitive opinion yet. Dr Turner did not spend much time with me, only the hygienist explained what she thought may need to be done and he just came in and confirmed. I may be a bit conservative, but I needed a long term plan and detailed explanation of treatment and costs. Also, everything seemed to move too fast. They scheduled me for a four hour appt (which I cancelled) for my 3rd visit which included root plane cleaning of the rest of my mouth, root canal (possibly), and crown. He does the root canals and crowns himself. I just thought that was too much dental work for one visit; and I have had regular dental visits and my previous dentist did not mention the above problems. So I am going to yet another dentist for an opinion. I did notice several new patients so the office is quite busy, but it is very easy to get an appt without having to wait. However, I cannot attest to the quality of his work and I do know his staff and him do everything they can to make you comfortable and to feel welcome. I had to switch from my previous dentist of 6 yrs because of insurance, so maybe an unfamiliar environment is my problem.

    Although, I'm sure my experience is not that of every patient, unfortunately, the two root canal procedures performed by Dr. Couzens (on different appointments) ended up with both teeth having to be extracted. While I was not charged for the failed root canal procedures, I did have to pay for the extractions by qualified professionals (the first extraction was done on an emergency basis), as well as having to come up with a totally new plan for restoring my teeth, which will be more costly than the work initially planned. In addition, one of the two bridges installed in my mouth failed after less than a year, which has lead to more costly repairs.
