    Auto Shipper's Express Inc
Mr. Price is the ultimate professional. He is very informative and is very knowledgeable of the industry. Initially, I hired his competitor to perform the job, but Auto Transport failed. Auto Shipper's Express came to the rescue with very limited time to meet my timeline. Mr. Price honors his word.

Back in February of 2014, I went to Bob Allen Motor Mall in Danville, KY to see about purchasing a vehicle. What I told the sales person Ethan, the vehicle I was wanting to purchase had to have these options, Crew cab, 4x4, leather seats, heated seats, and navigation. When we were test driving the vehicle, I asked if it had navigation, Ethan replied yes.

3 months later, I was fixing to go on vacation, I thought I'd better figure the Navigation out. I tried everything possible to find the Navigation, no luck, called back to the dealership and they said it was navigation compatible and if I wanted it , It would cost me an additional $600.00. I went  to the general manager,  and told him If I had known it did not have factory navigation, I would have ordered it with it. John said it's the same as factory if they install it. John Welsh  said he would talk to Dodge and should be able to get it installed for free. After about 2 weeks I called back, and they would  not let me talk to John, they just said no.

Finally paid the $630.00 out of my pocket to get it installed, I was wanting to get the Sirius traffic added to my Sirius radio, and found out it has to be factory installed.

Have called the Ram Brand corp. and just like everything else, I get the same old answer, I'm sorry. They have my money, all I got was a $47,000.00 truck that did not have what I was promised.  I guess I'm sorry fixes everything.

All I can say is stay as far away as you can from Bob Allen motor mall in Danville, KY. If you like being mislead and lied too. Then Bob Allen's is the place to go.

.I had a recurring misfire condition on my Ford F150 pickup truck for over a year. I had taken my truck to my usual mechanic shop 3 times to be repaired. The engine misfire returned within a month or two after each repair shop, once it took 10 days to get my truck back.
Enough was enough. I decided to take the problem of my engine misfire to Les Pinkam after a co-worker recommended their shop. I am glad I did. The personnel at Les Pinkam's are professional, courteous, knowledgeable, very fair on pricing and fixed the problem first time. They have earned my continuous patronage.

The price is always excellent. He gives great service. This business is so ethical, I never second guess his advice for repairs. He is so honest that sometimes I feel he undercuts himself in pricing.

FIRST:  I replaced several parts on the front suspension of my truck by myself to save money and then I brought it to Bob Swope Ford to have the front end aligned.  It was out of alignment because of all the new parts I had installed.  I was told by Bob Swope Ford it would be three hundred dollars just to install some additional needed parts before they could even begin to do the alignment.  I thanked them and told them I would get back to them soon.  Later I took my truck to another shop here in town and they did the job for right at about eighty dollars and there was never any mention of "additional parts".  SECOND:  On a different occasion I went to Bob Swope Ford to buy parts to change the fluid in my transmission.  I needed a gasket, filter, and six quarts of new fluid.  When I went to pay the price was right around one hundred and thirty seven dollars, just for the parts.  I told the cashier I didn't want to pay that much and took the parts back to the counter person.  I then went to a local auto parts supply store and bought everything I needed for right around fifty dollars.  I've been going to Bob Swope Ford since they took over from Dusty Rhodes Ford and throughout the years it has always been hit or miss with them.  One time they did a repair on my transmission for seven hundred dollars and they did a steller job and I was happy to pay the money.  Another time they replaced the rear main seal on my mother's 1974 Ford Torino and something they did caused a bearing to spin and seize and the only thing they would do was refund the money for changing the seal.  I'll go there only if I have to but I always keep one bloodshot eye open.

    Auto Craft Shop
When I first took it in, it was shuddering and they told me that there was nothing wrong with it. The second time I took it in, they said that they could not diagnose it because the check engine light was not on. They are absolutely incompetent. A bunch of stuff went wrong with my husband’s truck and they would fix something and we did not have the truck for quite a while. They did get it fixed, I just am not happy with them. They are irresponsible.

Their price was very reasonable. They are a no frills, but are very nice. They remember me and are very helpful. They were very prompt. I called them and they took it that day and had it done the same day or the next.

    Hardin County Honda
When the tire pressure comes down in the winter, they gladly do the refill for free so I don't have to spend 75 cents on one of those stupid machines that never work right. They did the 116 point check on my son's Honda and didn't charge us a dime. They found a nail on the inside of the tire and they pointed it out. They are very open and honest. Sometimes they don't charge me for things, depending on what it is. I am pleased with their service. They are reasonably priced in comparison to other shops.

    Valvoline Instant Oil Change
The oil change itself went fine. However, the next day when I got on the interstate (got up to a high speed) I discovered they had not attached the skid guard correctly under the vehicle. They had not fastened it properly in the back. At a higher rate of speed, the guard flapped in the wind. I took it back the next day (prior to leaving for a family vacation) and asked them to fix the error. They politely agreed to do so, but I did have to wait in line until they finished with other customers ahead of me. They fixed supposedly fixed it and apologized for the error. Later on, when i was hours away from home, the front part of the guard fell this time nearly ripping off the car. The guard is now scratched and not attached to the car properly.

10AM Tuesday.  Dropped off the van for diagnosis.
3PM Tuesday.  Received call from dealership stating the problem is caused by intake manifold control valve and the cost would be $1000.  Part will arrive by 10AM. Wednesday. Van may be done by end of day Wednesday.
2PM Wednesday, I call to check status.  No one knows current status.  they will call me back.
3PM Wednesday, I call to check status.  Parts did not arrive at 10AM.  They are expecting them by 4PM.   Van will be done by 2PM Thursday.
11AM Thursday Van is done. I picked up the van.
    3PM Thursday:
    RPM gauge doesn't work
windows don't work, gas gauge stopped working, turn signals don't work.
idle very bad - worse than ever before.
in drive, barely moving, gas all the way down. sudden burst of power and then almost dies again.
3:30PM Thursday: I called dealership about issue. Requested a tow and a rental car. Said they would talk to manager and call back.
4:45PM Thursday: I called back.  Will send rental car.  And will pick up van in the morning.
    5:40PM Thursday: received rental car.
8:30AM Friday: mechanics drove van to dealership to test drive.
9:30AM Friday: I received call from dealership that van is working fine.  The found corrosion on the battery terminal and cleaned it.
While the cause of the problems is plausible, I find it coincidental that it only happened AFTER we brought it to the mechanic.  Also, I wonder if that may have been the problem the entire time (instead of the $1000 intake manifold control valve).  However, I trust that the control valve may have been a problem since we did not experience any of the other issues (gauges stop working, turn signals stopped working, etc.).
While they were not very good at contacting us with status reports (perhaps they were very busy - but they should have at least returned calls), their attitude was very good and their attentiveness to fixing the repeat problem was acceptable.
I will probably use their service again in the future, but may need a second opinion before I spend another $1000 on a $3000 van.
