Lawn Treatment reviews in Ft Mitchell

I definitely give them an A. Graig Grabel is the owner and he is great. I only work with him and I will only work with him. I asked them to call me the day before to make sure I am here and they have. We moved from another state and wasn't sure who to got with. We priced a lot of people. They do natural chemicals.

Everyone I spoke with was very nice, but my lawn looks worse than it ever has. I asked them to come out and help me with all of the dead patches of grass and told them I had a root issue. I asked if the roots needed to be dug up before grass was planted. I was told it did not. I asked if I could get a warranty or some sort if the grass didn't survive, etc. I was told no because I would need to take care of it properly. I paid for the initial grass seed to be laid and watered it meticulously (I googled how to take care of it). There was about a foot of straw covering almost my entire yard. I was given no instructions on when to get the hay up/how, when/how to water, etc. I eventually just pulled it up the hay and saw some grass growing. I then bought a package for A&A to come out and treat for weeds and to continue to help it along. By the end of the last season, I can honestly say my yard has never looked worse. There are more weeds than EVER (more weeds than grass), none of the grass survived and there are now more bald/dead patches than ever. The roots/mushrooms have taken over even the previously healthy grass. I didn't mind spending the money/buying the package because I thought I would finally have a nice. healthy lawn. I was totally wrong and will now need to spend the money again somewhere else. The only reason I didn't give an F rating is because all of the people were very nice, so this is very unfortunate.

Horrible experience! In 2015 we caught them red-handed treating only part of our lawn, while charging us full price. In hindsight I should have cancelled then but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt since they claimed they didn't know they were supposed to treat our whole lawn. Then, when we cancelled our account the following year because our yard looked and still looks absolutely horrible, they promised to have a technician come and assess the issue, talk to us personally, make things right with us if we give them another chance. Instead of doing that, they show up during a Severe Thunderstorm Warning and applied a treatment during a driving rain - I watched them do it. I called them immediately and they apologized and offered to re-treat it in normal weather conditions, this after they knew we had cancelled. I vehemently declined and reaffirmed the fact we cancelled our account and they were to cease and desist treatments. Today we were threatened by the owner (Sandy Tool) with a threat of collection. Trust me, these people are complete amateurs and don't have the first clue in maintaining a lawn. Trying to scam us and squeeze out another payment. We had NITRO Lawn Care for years and we always had friendly reliable service and our lawn looked great. Unfortunately I found out our account and many others were purchased from NITRO when they went out of business. I've reported their deceptive business practices to the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable lawn care service.

As far as applying chemical fertilizer and week killer, this company is reputable and offers a competitive service. We used them for lawn care as well, but their team did a terrible job. It took me a couple months before I realized that the damaged siding and lacerations to our trees were caused by one of their guys carelessly using the weed eater.

Bill has done a Great Job ridding our lawn of weeds, and keeping it green... and I hardly know he has come & gone except there is always the warning/safety flag. This is the first time I have used a lawn service, I always did it myself. But my health required I not handle any of the materials anymore, no mater what they are. Happily, Bill has taken care of everything, and is very careful about what and how he treats our grass, watching toot harm my family and pets. We are very happy with his service and plan on keeping him a long time!

They have done a great job with the spring clean up and then spraying for weeds.  It looks a lot better then with a prior company.
They mow our grass weekly and do a great job with that as well.  We paid ~ 3000 for the year but I believe ~ 1/2 went to the spring clean up (landscaping) and maintenance. They also spray for weeds in the landscaping but also the lawn and mow the lawn weekly.
Therefore, we have turned over the entire outside of our house to them and very happy we did this.

Andrew contacted me immediately after my inquiry, and scheduled the work for the next day. His two man crew arrived promptly, and completed the work very thoroughly and professionally. The entire experience was excellent, from my initial contact, to the completion of the work. Based on this experience, I'll be utilizing A&A for all of my lawn and landscaping needs next year.

This was the second treatment for the year.  My first from The Lawn Guys /Unique Lawn Care was in May; prior to that I had a treatment in March from a former lawn service company.  At best I have to say I am disappointed.  I had to call to ask for my July treatment because my lawn had so many weeds (and a Grub treatment added that I did not order and didn't pay for).  In mid August I called because of weeds again.  It took seven days for someone to come and do spot treatments; only part of the weeds were sprayed.
Aside from my lawn not looking any better than what I had from my previous lawn care company, I was frustrated by the promise made to me in a phone solicitation in May about "how great my lawn would look".  It didn't happen.
Frustrating to say the least.  I have cancelled the service and gone with another company.

My previous provider, Nitro Lawn, merged or was acquired by Nature's Way.  I was extremely pleased with Greg Smith and Nitro Lawn.  He is still involved with the company and still covers my address, although the  quality is not quite what it used to be.  The second treatment burned a section of my grass, and while they did come out and look at it and actually took responsibility, it is a month later and my yard still has not recovered.
I will continue to use Nature's Way for now, but if the quality continues to decline, I will have to start weighing options.

Trugreen applied a treatment when service had been cancelled. sent me a bill. said they would only charge me half the bill. I protested . Do not think I should have to pay for a service I had already cancelled.
