    The installation was super easy but ultimately returned the system within the 30 day trial period. They send you the system which is super easy to install. You take the sticker off the back and place the sensor wherever you want it to go. Customer service is great. Reason we returned the system: 1) price- $35/month but doesn't include mobile app or crash and smash protection 2) the central system is HUGE and looks like it is from the 1980s. (The flat screen is an extra $150.) You also have to hang it on the wall by yourself and is super ugly and has a huge wire coming from it that has to be plugged in 3) Does not beep when doors are open when alarm is off We ended up ultimately going with Monitronics and we love it. They come and installed the system for free and they wire the flatscreen central monitor in the wall so you can't see any wires. We pay $35 per month which INCLUDES a mobile app and crash and smash protection. (front point cheapest plan with a mobile app and crash and smash protection is $45/month) The Monitronics system beeps and tells you whenever a door or window is open even if the alarm is off which is super helpful when you have kids.

    Product came in less than a week, product was very easy to install. The sensors don't stick out like some. Customer service has always been very helpful. Have a motion detector in the stairwell of the basement which was easy to add because of how flexible the system is. The price of the service hasn't change in two years and I am still very pleased. I love that it is wireless operated and has a battery backup.

    I called ADT to inquire about possible alarm monitoring service as the home I am purchasing has a security system. I could not get past the first person that answered the phone. I explained that because we were purchasing a home I did not yet have access to the model number of the installed system but wanted to know about whether contracts were mandatory or if month to month were possible and the pricing for either/both. I was told I would be required to sign a 36 month contract. When I asked if shorter contracts were available and could I please speak to a sales person, I was told that she didn't know about the shorter contracts and if I wanted to find out about that I would need to provide my full address and the model of the unit before I could speak to a sales person! I asked her what happens when a person who does not have a system already installed calls to ask about their systems and services. Again, one must provide their address before being transferred to sales representative. Why do they need your address before you can speak to someone?
         WOW! All that hassle just to try to talk to a sales person to get service. If they treat their prospective clients in such an unprofessional manner, I don't want to be their client. No wonder they have an F. They got another one from me too.

    The Technicians were very pleasant, professional, and well educated on the product.  The new system works great and there were no issues with the start up.  They did an incredible job.

    i have used Dial One Security for about 1 year now. The first 2 times they came out including the original sales call, they were 45 minutes to 1 hour late. This last service call in October they were 1 hour early for the appointment.
    The Alarm service and the Technicians are good. They were very resistant to hard wire contacts which I prefer, but other than that, they are professional, and the service is very good.
    The service is good but allow plenty of time for them to show up.

    They were prompt in replying to my inquiry and had answers to all my questions over the phone.  Accomidated my schedule with a Saturday visit for quotation.  They were not pushy into equipment/services I did not desire.  The install went well, although my wife commented that the technician went through the equipment operation a little to fast for her.  So far the equipment and service is working fine.
