    Sutton Grove Retirement Community
I was looking for an apartment for my father who suffered a stroke in late 2005. Toured the facility which has one and two bedroom apartments. The manager, assistant, cooks , housekeepers, and maintenance personnel all are professoinal and care for the residents. There are a couple of plans availabile. I chose the one wrer dad could eat breakfast independently and take his other two meals in the dinning room since he could navigate with a walker. There are many activites that are offered at the apartments, as well as outings. The location is on the bus line and two blockes from shopping, eg. Krogers, Walgreen's. The last 6-7 months dad steped up to assistant living. The nurses and aids took pride in their work. I did not have to worry about his well being when I was out of town. There were numerous times dad had to be hospitalized when I wasn't in town. I always received a cll from the nurse or lifeline(rerquired) when this happened. I can not express what a relief it was knowing he was in good hands. Any maintance problem was quickly fixed. House keeping was once a week; but if there was an emergancy situation 9(toliet overflow, ect.) housekeeping was there. Dad enjoyed his 6+ years there.. Various religious activities are held eack week/month. The local churches will send ministers to the establishment. I can say the entier staff showed respect and compassion for everyone under ther care. There pricing was very competitive. Other retirement centers around this area were higher. They are not fancy, fancy, but very clean and caring for the residents, which was important to me and my father.

I don't have to worry about vehicles.  They are excellent all around.  They work with me on schedules. I can talk to the manager, she'll call me several times a day working out schedules.  She puts together a schedule for me, we have a very comfortable relationship with the manager.  My father was admitted to the hospital and I could call her on her home phone at 10:45 at night and tell her that I had to change the schedule because he was in the hospital.

.Anytime she has had high blood pressure or fallen down, they have made sure to closely watch her. They will send people to check on her. They really watch over their residents and even those who don't pay for that care. It's almost that they give you more than you sign up for.

They took care of my father when he was dying. They did a very good job. They came to the home so, there was no office environment.

    Bathe Safe Walk In Tubs
Things went great.  I was able to work with Todd virtually via telephone calls, text messages, texted-photos  to clarify the space in my mother's home.  Todd made good recommendations to meet my mother's needs...not too much...but just right.  I even handled payment with a texted-check.  All of this made a long-distance transaction work flawlessly. The tub is working out great for my mother.  It is simple, straight-forward and easy to use.  The pricing was reasonable...not the overly inflated, and extra feature laden found with other vendors.  The installer, did a good job, was timely, courteous, respectful and helpful as he dealt with my mother.

Their nursing home and rehabilitation center is good. They have a good facility and good location. The staff is pretty friendly and do a good job. My dad likes everyone there. It is close to where I live and it is a little bit pricey but I don't mind. It's clean and well organized. They keep it updated. They have activities for the people that are staying there.

On an ongoing basis, Cornerstone offers arguably the worst customer service of any organization I've ever done business with. I fly a lot and Cornerstone makes the airlines look like Disney World when it comes to service. Consistently, every interaction has been horrid. I'm not someone that rants on websites, this is not exaggeration. I've never waited less than 20 minutes to call in a supply re-order. When I have to go in their office, I wait nearly an hour despite having an appointment. When i first picked up my machine, the tech (I use that term very loosely) basically gave me the machine and said "here you go." Barely any explanation on how to use the thing. She seemed annoyed - like a fast-food server that hates being at her job. Later, when I had to re-order supplies, they asked me to send them a memory card from my machine (to download for insurance purposes). They lost it and, because they lost it, could not verify info for my insurance. I have to use Cornerstone because of my insurance and I've heard all medical equipment suppliers are terrible. But I can't imagine they are worse than Cornerstone. I've had better service from a vending machine. Honestly, go elsewhere if you can. You've been warned...
