Tipton & Unroe Foot & Ankle
Dr Klutts did not address the ongoing issues of my left foot.  I just recently returned to KY from CA where I had an outstanding podiatrist who I saw each month for 16 months there.  This was my 3rd visit to Tipton & Unroe (Dr Klutts) and do think he understood my problem the first 2 visits; however, this past visit last week did not relieve the pain as they have done in the past.  I am now searching for a new podiatrist in Louisville.

    Shlonsky, Dr. Steven R
Dr. Sholonsky is a very good doctor! He listens to you and wants to hear your concerns and then provides his expert opinion and treatment. I went to him barely walking because of a heel spur that I have and have been suffering for 3 months with a previous doctor just telling me to stay off of it. He gave me 5 self-treatments that I could do as well as treat the current pain I was having. It was very comforting to know that he is a fellow heel spur sufferer so he understood the pain and the frustration of not being able to walk. He has great bedside manner and I felt he truly cared and is holding me accountable for following through on my self-treatments. I had to call him afterwards for a minor question and after he answered he encouraged me and I just felt he went above and beyond. When I arrived at his humble office it wasn't anything fancy with bells and whistles but the care he provided was top notch! A+

He is a very nice, very gentle man. He explains everything and you get a feeling that he is genuinely concerned and caring. Everyone in his office is great and I've never had any problem with them.

    Tipton & Unroe, PSC
The care, beside manner and communictions with 4 different doctors was second to none.  They were all very professional and explained the procedure and after care need to my son, at every visit.  They answered all questions i had and even explained things i forgot to ask about...

He is everything you would hope for in a doctor. He communicates very well with you and explains everything that you should know. He is almost a miracle worker.

    Shlonsky, Dr. Steven R
I called because I was experiencing a lot of pain and was leaving in a few days on a vacation that would require a lot of walking. I was a new patient, but he returned my call immediately and saw me the same day. As it turns out it was an ingrown toe nail caused by a fungus infection. He treated both and gave me excellent information about alternatives for treating the fungus infection. He also provided a treatment ointment. A few months later my son was visiting and also needed to be treated immediately for a problem since he was leaving the country. Again Dr. Shlonksy saw him right away and treated a fungus infection and resulting pain. He is a conservative one man shop - but he instilled alot of confidence and was very responsive and professional. MJ

The reception staff was friendly (which is unusual at a human medical office these days!) and I was checked in quickly. I did not have to wait long at all in the waiting room and the staff member who took me into the exam room was very warm and nice and put me at ease. Being especially foot sensitive it was nice. I did wait quite a while in the exam room before seeing the doctor. Dr. Ketcherside was wonderful and he listened to everything I had to say. He asked good questions and I feel he got to the root of the problem at hand. We discussed options for treatment and I will continue to follow his advice because I feel he was knowledgable and took the right steps to treat my problem. I had x-rays (again with the very nice assistant) and then waited a little longer in the exam room. Overall I was there 2 hours, which was a little long, but maybe not for a first time visit. I have a recheck in 4 weeks, so hopefully that will go a little quicker. Dr. Ketcherside listened and let me ask questions and didn't make me feel stupid for asking questions (which a lot of doctors will). Again, I was very impressed with his bedside manner and will continue to go back for follow ups. The office was a little cold (but again, sitting for an hour with no shoes and socks on would make me extra cold!) and a little dark, and the magazines were outdated, but that's the worst I can say, which is pretty good. I would recommend this doctor to others for sure.
