AKing Home InspectionsMr. King provides excellent customer service and great communication. He is very thorough on his work with detailed pictures and great explanation of findings. Even with the winter snow storm he communicated and rescheduled accordingly and was still able to perform a great job. He was quick and efficient in the delivery of the home inspection report as well. His company nor any company in Maysville does Radon testing. You also have to hire a pest and termite company for any pest and termite inspections just as a tip in your home buying process. I would highly recommend Mr. King again for my home inspection needs. APreferred Property InspectionsThis is my first venture into purchasing a home, and I couldn't have asked for a more informative and thorough inspection of the property. Before I had questions Mr. Collins gave me answers. Through the inspection we were able to find potential issue that could grow into larger problem, and Collins was able to offer solutions and comments on the condition and age of the home. I would certainly approach Collins for another inspection for the future. Worth the cost of the inspection, and gave me more information to return to the seller with.- Eric E.

APreferred Property InspectionsMr. Collins with Preferred Property Inspections (PPI) did an exceptional job, and I'm very pleased with his thoroughness and dedication. He takes his job very seriously, and his goal is to make sure you have full knowledge of potential issues and have no surprises. However, his approach is not be for everyone. IF you're the type of homeowner who wants to have thorough, detailed knowledge of everything that could be an issue with your home, call PPI. If you appreciate conscientious, meticulous home maintenance and work ethic that does not include cutting corners, call PPI. If you just need a quick, cheap inspection pass move along to someone else. However, the highest recommendation I can offer may be the fact that real estate agents and lenders recoil in horror when you mention he's inspecting a home. You may hear an agent or lender squawk loudly that he "scares people" and "ruins deals," but take this with a grain of salt and consider the source. He's looking out for you, the buyer. The lenders and agents ultimately are looking out for themselves and their bottom line. The more you pay for a house, the more they make. PPI is looking out for your interests only. Other home inspectors will spend a couple hours and not even ask if you want to be present. Mr. Collins prefers you attend the inspection with him. He spends much more time than other inspectors and explains everything as he goes. And if there's a problem I'm convinced he'll find it. I have no doubt that many a purchase contract has been renegotiated after his inspections. I, for one, would much rather "ruin a deal" so I don't end up with a problematic house.- Kim P.

APreferred Property InspectionsCharles arrived just as promised, and exceeded my expectations. He was very thorough, and I felt he examined every accessible areas, as well as those that were not easy to access (roof, attic, under stairs, etc.) I felt like I had a very complete picture of the condition of my future home, and was able to take the issues that were uncovered in the inspection to the home sellers, and request that the issues be fixed. Charles has answered every call and email when had questions. I would use him again without hesitation, and highly recommend him to those in need of a competent, reliable home inspector.- David T.

FShortly after we ordered the system we changed our mind. The company said they would refund the money but never did. We disputed the charge but was denied from the credit card company even though SimpliSafe could not produce an invoice or any price they sent the system to us. This company is untrustworthy and does not deserve your business. Please save your time and money and use someone else. Just an update. They did return the money they originally refused to refund when we went through the credit card company. I can’t change the grade I have them because the only reason they issued the refund was to protect their standing on Angie’s list.

FIf I could give -10 stars I would. Wildcat home Inspection did a house inspection for my husband and I and made it seem like there was barely anything at all wrong with the house we was looking to buy.. just a few small easy fixes. So we went on and purchased our home. Needless to say months later when we went to resell to upgrade to something bigger the next potential buyer of our home got an inspection done and it was unbelievable and very shocking how much stuff was actually wrong with our house that Wildcat Home Inspection failed to report. Obvious stuff that a license inspector should catch immediately. The potential buyer backed out and we had to take our house off the market to fix thousands and thousands of dollars worth of damage to our home. If we had known that much major stuff was wrong with the home we wouldn't have purchased the home. It was stuff that had been wrong for years. I would suggest going somewhere else!!!! When we called Wildcat Home Inspection to let them know about this (even emailed them both the inspections) they said the inspection was fine and they would only refund us just the price we paid for the inspection, it was such a slap in the face with how much money we was out of pocket on fixes. Please pick someone else to do your home inspection!!!! We don't have all the money in the world with four children.. this was our first time purchasing a home and we are so heartbroken and upset we got done this way. I don't want this happening to anyone else. Oh and let me not forget to mention the home inspector was hours late (reason why the price of Inspection was discounted).. I drove passed the house a little after the time he was suppose to arrive and no one was there.. I called and he said sorry that he had overslept and was on his way.. I know we are all human but seriously. We have already started taking legal action with this whole mess. BEWARE!!! I have plenty of documentation and pics to back me up!!!

FThey told me it was a covered repair and to get the work done and submit invoice and they would reimburse us. We got it done and submitted the invoice. After 3 months of constant follow up they covered part of the parts charge and none of the labor. Then, following up again, they responded with, WE ARE CLOSING THE BUSINESS.
