    Montgomery Vision Care
I had a second implant to remove a cataract. I began seeing double vision and went to the Dr. for help. She told me it was a muscle in my eye and told me I needed therapy. I went back to The Cincinnati Eye Institute and was told the muscles were fine. The doctor at the eye institute called the Dr. on his cell phone, stood out in the hallway with the door opened and proceeded to make fun of me. I have seen Dr. Fiarenza for many years and was very hurt by this. I think also she is a little too chummy with the eye institute which explains why she came up with the muscle problem. If it were a muscle problem I would have been seeing double before the operation. I am finding a new Optometrist and pulling the knives out of my back.

    The Eye Care Institute
The wait time was approximately 20 minutes from the time I arrived until I was taken to an exam room. The person performing the exam was very friendly and did a good job of explaining what was going to happen as she tested my eyes. Following her initial exam, I met with the doctor to go over the results. He didn't spend much time with me since it was determined that I was not a candidate for lasix. He did explain an alternative, which I wasn't interested in. He suggested I make an appointment for the following year for a basic eye exam in their regular eye department. He suggested I continue to wear reading glasses, as needed. He was professional and courteous.

    Klosterman, Dr. Jeffrey A.
I was seen promptly by the eye care technician ( melissa). Then Dr. Klosterman examined my eyes.I have worn glasses and contacts for 30 plus years. He answered all my questions about various correction options for my nearsightedness and and quot;old age and quot; reading problems. He suggested an updated prescription for my contacts. I recieved a trial pair that day. At first I loved the new brand and strength of my contacts and had the office order a supply for me. Within a couple of days ( with more eye strenuous activity) I found that the new brand of contact was significantly drier on my eyes and uncomfortable. Also, the new strength of contact significnantly improved my distance vision, but I had more difficulty with up close vision and I had to try and quot;readersand quot;. I do alot of writing and didn't like the readers. ( It is normal to lose some quality of up close vision with a more specific distant prescription for people with nearsightedness, as I understand it.) Dr. Klosterman was able to work me into his schedule on my off day and reexamined my eyes at no extra charge...we decided to go back to my original prescription. The office staff ( jerrica I believe) was very friendly and didn't make a big deal of having to return the contacts I had just ordered and reorder the new supply. I found I could get a small rebate on my new contacts, but unfortunely had lost lost my receipt. Jerrica promptly emailed me duplicates so I could process my rebate. I live an hour away from this office and specifically came to see Dr Klosterman upon referral from someone I know. I live in a big city and could choose from many, many eye doctrs.I had always gone to Dr. Bizers/Sam's club ( for price). I hardly ever got to see the same eye doctor. So I chose Dr. Klosterman for his reputation and will return to him for regular exams.

    Kowalik, Dr. Barry
The examination went very well. He checked my vision in both eyes and made it very simple for me to choose the correct lens for each eye. He also dilated my pupils.

    Burns, Dr. Frank R.
I have been to Dr. Burns office 2 times. I was pleased with the services that Dr. Burns provided. I had a follow up appointment 3 mos. later. The office was VERY crowded and had a long wait. I am not sure what the problem was but think it was computer related. However, I was pleased with the service and everything the doctor provided. My perscription and glasses are great. I do wish they had more frames and a better place for that service. It's VERY limited. They could benefit from more space in the waiting room as well. Like the doctor but wish he had a bigger facility.

Eye care. Hart Ophthalmology aka Murray Ophthalmology is a group of caring, friendly pros who make a visit with them a pleasure instead of the usual doctor's office drudge.

    Dr. Bizer's ValuVision
Dr. Bizer's is widespread. I have gone to a lot of different eyeglass places, and I always find better glasses there. I am very particular about what glasses I do wear. I like to buy my eyeglasses in there because it seems like I always find what I look for. I've always had best deal with the glasses that I like at Dr. Bizer's. That's why I've always gone back to and they got everything done in there. They did all of that in the same place and they can make them that day. They have a wide collection of glasses in most eyeglass places they have and they are very professional people and they are very friendly and they work with you very good.

    Mackey Vision Center
When the Dr. first walked in the room, he was very friendly, and asked detailed questions about what kind of trouble i was having with my eyes, he performed a routine eye test, and then went on to dilate my eyes, and perform different tests by looking on the inside of my eyes, also taking pictures and graphing my overall eyesight (which was appreciated, because I have very bad eyesight, and realized they may be getting worse) I also go back tomorrow for another glaucoma test, I would like to personally thank this Dr. for going out of his way to make sure I had the best possible care, and I will definitely be going back to see him in the future.

    Dr. Schleter
We know each other at this point. He knows that I am sensitive to certain tests with my eyes. So, he tries to either bypass those or do it in a different way. He is a very personable person and I think that he definitely knows about what he is doing because as your eyes get older, you have all sorts of things that go on with your vision. He has been very good at trying different things. His service is very good. It is a little expensive and my insurance does not cover it. However, I have been going to him and so, I just keep going to him. I am always able to get in but I think that if you are a new patient it is a lot tougher. You need to wait a little bit but not very long as it is usually less than fifteen minutes. The office environment is good. The office staff knows me now whereas they could be a little abrupt when I see them with some other people but they are very good with me.

    Mercado, Dr. Jennifer
We have been using her for probably three years. I like her because she is one of the younger people in the group and she is more down-to-earth than some of the others. Everyone is generally really friendly once you get back there. Some of the front desk people can be kind of snooty.
