    We Help Movers
Seriously the best customer service. Everything was finished within the time I was estimated, not only that they were cautious with important items. I would recommend this service if you want a hassle free move at a great price.

    U-HAUL
My experience with UHAUL was wonderful. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. The truck was clean, odor-free, and ran without issue. The process of checking the truck out, and then back in again was smooth and very quick. Their prices are a bit higher than, say, Budget ($19.99+$0.99 per mile vs $14.99+$0.79 per mile), but from some stories I've heard about Budget's quality, I believe the extra cost was worth it.

    BUDGET
Excellent experience.  The phone call was easy (make sure to ask if they have a location closer to you) and the truck was waiting at the Marathon station on Mason Montgomery.  Knowledgeable, energetic and helpful attendant made it all easy.  Same price whether kept it 2 hours or four.  Truck was clean and easy to drive.

    The Home Depot Pleasant Ridge
I like the short term rental time they offer.  It's $19 for 75 minutes, and then it's prorated after that. I like not having to rent the truck for the entire day or weekend.  For small jobs, it's reasonably inexpensive, and it's easy.  You have to refill the gas when you are done.  We have used them a couple of times.

    Ryder Truck Rental & Leasing
I called the other major brands. Ryder had the best rate and service. It is hard to know because they all price differently. These are truly trucks, with a lift-gate and ramp. The lift-gate was strong and help with the large items we had to move. Stephanie was very helpful when I called and faxed me the documents I needed to see if my Business' insurance would cover me while using the truck. The check-out and check-in process was  very easy. I dropped the truck off while they were closed and everything was accurate the following business day. I have rented a few U-Hauls, they did not seem safe to me. I lost power steering and brakes in one with a full load and i was getting off the expressway. That is why I will now just rent from Ryder and have a safe truck.

    UNCLE BOB'S STORAGE
Friendly people and clean truck. I had also checked Budget, Thrifty, Hertz, and all were more expensive, expecially when you factor in the mileage rate on top of the per-day rental.

    U-HAUL
Excellent experience.  Called to rent truck a few hours ahead of time.  Make sure you ask for a location nearest you.  Truck was waiting at Marathon station on Mason Montgomery, gassed up and ready to go.  Knowledgeable attendant, great experience.

    Budget Truck Rental LLC
I was helping a friend move from Cincinnati to South Dakota, and had volunteered to arrange the technical side of the move.  Research showed that Budget was the most affordable option (especially since a quick Google search found some coupon codes!) for a one-way rental.  Unfortunately I had to get a truck with a 15' bed because that was the smallest size with towing capability, and I needed to tow her car along with us.  The rental process was a little drawn out, like this location was not accustomed to the rental process (it is a Budget kiosk within a Pep Boys store, operated by Pep Boys employees).  After finishing the rental paperwork the staff was very helpful.  Ed provided us with assistance attaching the tow dolly to the truck and direction and advice regarding loading and securing the car.  He was very polite and courteous, especially considering it was about 50 degrees and raining. The negative part of the experience was related to communicating with the company.  I booked the truck and tow dolly online, and the confirmation page from Budget said to call the rental location and confirm.  I tried calling twice and received a message telling me they are busy and to call back later, so I delegated the confirmation call to my husband.  Several more tries still got the same message, and when he called Budget's 1-800 number the representative stated that Pep Boys locations never answer their Budget calls, so he had to call the main line for the store and wait on hold while someone was located that could confirm the reservation.  That person was slightly rude, and when asked informed my husband that he would need to provide his own straps to secure the vehicle to the tow dolly and break lights.  When we actually got to the location the straps were part of the tow dolly (my inexperience showing there) and it was designed so it didn't need additional lights.

    Budget - Springdale
Pitiful. Moving is always a stressful time, but this was made all the worse by a truck that was not ready on schedule, a sarcastic employee who seemingly knew nothing about the reservation itself and the fact that although I was charged a hefty deposit on my credit card, I was not told about it until after the reservation had been made online. This is the company's fault, not the franchise owner's. But the franchise owner was difficult, resulting in my husband having to make several trips down to the store to handle issues and it was just not worth the hassle. I normally hire another big-name company for self-moving, but wanted to use a special coupon that would save us (purportedly) some money, and it did exactly the opposite AND caused a lot of headaches, including being over our limit on the credit card!! My advice to you is that if you plan to use this location, to go in and do NOT use the online reservation team...get everything in writing and hold them to it!

    Budget Car and Truck
We should not have accepted this truck for an 1100 mile trip. It was damaged inside and out. The windshield wiper fluid did not work. The headlights were mismatched and did not light the highway well at night. The door handle was broken. THE BACK LEAKED and thank goodness it didn't rain until we were unloading and could keep our furniture from being ruined. The price was cheaper than another company, but the furniture pads we rented were 3x the price, so when we needed more than the 2 dozen we rented from Budget, we went to the other company for pads (a difference in price of $60 and $20). The lesson learned here is: IF YOU ARE RENTING A TRUCK TO MOVE YOUR VALUABLES, BE SURE IT IS A GOOD TRUCK. LOOK IT OVER BEFORE ACCEPTING IT BECAUSE THE COMPANY WILL GIVE YOU ANYTHING.
